Teacher Tee have been really amazing in helping me find a job where I can work from home around my children. Thank you to Mia for guiding me in my application and profile. It took a little time to get students but that’s because I did applications and profile just before Christmas. But as soon as new year came I got my first few students and I’m happy with who I am teaching. Thank you so much Mia, I hope in the future we can work together to do more applications to expand my work.

The company has been very proactive in helping me get started with my online teaching. They have mentored me over the months and kept me on track so that I now have a very busy schedule. They don't just offer mentoring but also courses that give teachers the opportunity to top up skills and branch out into other areas.

Update: time IS a product and the most commonly used one in modern MLMs. Investing months of unpaid time in the hopes of being paid more is standard MLM behaviour. Whether TeacherTee are unable to realise this or do know and avoid taking accountability for their business model, it remains highly unethical.

They’re agents that connect you with platforms rather than to students or schools. That lack of context meant I wasted a lot of time and money as I was rushed through the process. I was put directly onto the platform that charges the highest fee from my lessons and asks that I teach free tester lessons while the platform still charges students. And all this despite being an experienced teacher. It’s highly unlikely teachers will make it to the highest paid levels without putting significant unpaid time and effort over the course of months, at which point you’re so invested and have sunk so much of your time and earning potential you feel you have to continue, which is pyramid scheme techniques. I dropped out as soon as I realised this and I’m disappointed I trusted TeacherTee to allocate me while explaining the context, which they didn’t do and really touted earning the top level was attainable and thay I “might actually do this!”. I should have checked the company out and wish I had, so I may as well explain my experience for others.

TeacherTee are fantastic and support you when venturing into the world of teaching online. Their help have way past exceeding my expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Great TEFL course and great support from Fran and Luke, to get up and running!

TeacherTee have helped me so much on my journey to becoming an online teacher! Fran is friendly and helpful and gives great tips and guidance. The videos from Luke are also super helpful and provide amazing advice on how to create a successful profile. I highly recommend going through TeacherTee if you are unsure on how to make online teaching your full time job!

I didn’t realise from the job advertisement that Teacher Tee are like a recruitment agency. I had a few calls with them to help me set up a profile on a website and the calls were always thorough - just very rushed and script-like. The ad suggested that anyone could apply in terms of hours available but it seemed very much geared towards those who have full time hours available and the time to be able to put effort into creating a presence on the website. I DID NOT like the way that the website worked myself - not great for newbies/people with limited availability or part time hours.
