CLUELESS APPLE

Reached out to Apple support for an iPhone issue. Ariana was assigned to chat with me. Her grammar was terrible and she never did understand the issue, even though it was simple and straightforward. Terrible service from Apple.

Pretty useless these days

Chat support keeps disconnecting, and I've had to explain the same issue to multiple specialists over several days without any resolution.

SO HELPFUL

I don’t know who it was I spoke to, she was from Ireland I think, but so helpful. My refund came straight away, and she was so helpful during the call!!!

I have been a Mac/iPhone user forever

I have been a Mac/iPhone user forever. Recently I purchased a new desktop computer and a new iPhone. Three days after purchasing the desktop computer, I went into my home office after being gone all day and immediately saw that the screen was cracked. No one was home. The computer was carefully set up and the only thing on the desk at the time.

At the moment the crack is 6" long and a minor inconvenience, the computer still works. Apple will be charging me to replace the glass despite the computer being 3 days old and at the time, I had Apple Care+ additional warranty on the computer.

Apple can not tell me how long it will take to replace the glass. This is the computer I run my business off of. I can not be without it for more than a day, maybe two. I do not understand why they can not tell me how long the computer will take to be fixed, although I was told by one employee it can take as much as 10 days. Then Apple employees shrug their shoulders and clearly don't care about the disruption to my business.

To make matters worse, I took my new iPhone out of my purse and it also has a cracked screen. There is nothing else in the phone pocket.

I have owned Apple products for decades and never had a screen crack. $4K for new computer and phone and despite taking good care, they both have cracked screens in under two weeks and no one at Apple cares.

Wasted my money as Apple employee’s didn’t know how to cancel a simple request

Wanted to cancel my repair request the day of making it as I had made a mistake, of course there’s no option on the website when there should be so you have to ring up. When i followed these instructions and waited on hold for an hour, I was told they were not able to cancel it and scheduled a call for me to cancel at 4:30pm the next day. Of course by this time my replacement airpod had come and I was told there would be no way of getting any money back nor returning it as I didn’t cancel it in time. So I have wasted a fair amount of money because apple didn’t know how to cancel my request and weren’t bothered to find out how to do this before I would be in a position of no return. I would suggest not even bothering with their “apple support team” as opposed to their name, they offer shockingly little support.

Awful trade in experience

I've waited over a month now for my trade in credit from Apple. Every time I call them I am promised an update with 2 business days. A trillion dollar company that cant pay out £285. Awful experience.

I want to express my gratitude for the excellent service I received regarding a technical issue with my photo library. The support specialist Daniel was incredibly knowledgeable and stayed determined to find a solution. He fixed my photos and ensured I didn't lose any data during the process. His clear communication and friendly demeanor made a stressful situation much easier to handle. Five stars for him and Team Apple Support! I was worried I had lost years of photos, but the technician knew exactly what to do. He was patient and informative, walking me through the fix so I felt confident my library was secure. It’s reassuring to know Apple provides this level of exceptional support when it matters most.

Probably one of the worst customer…

Probably one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had . They deducted money from my credit card by allowing scammers to gain access to my Apple ID. So Apple vendor - Apple Sydney - allowed fraudulent transactions.
When I asked them for a refund for the 5000 $ worth of deductions they refused saying that the refund request has been refused and they are not willing to divulge any further detail. I spent 3 hours on the phone with them taking to different customer service specialists . It was a gigantic waste of time. Probably the worst experience I’ve had in along time

Hidden behind algorithms to pocket money from honest mistakes

If I could give zero stars, I would. I fell into the exact same "free trial trap" that so many others have, and Apple Support's response has been utterly abysmal.
I signed up for a one-month free trial for an app. Because subscription terms are intentionally confusing—where some apps automatically end after a free stint and others require manual intervention—I was certain I had successfully hit cancel within the first day or two. It turns out I hadn't, and Apple immediately slapped me with a massive, unprompted bill for a full annual subscription.
I immediately reached out to contest this genuine mistake and appeal the charge, but Apple’s rigid, anti-consumer system immediately denied it. There is absolutely zero human empathy or flexibility here. They don’t care that you’ve been a loyal user, they don’t care if finances are tight, and they don't care that you have no intention of using the service for the next year—they just want to pocket your cash on a technicality.
Because Apple forces app developers to route everything through their own payment system, they completely tie everyone's hands, hide behind automated refusal bots, and leave you feeling absolutely fleeced. It makes you feel like an absolute mug.
Appalling customer care. If you ever sign up for a trial through Apple's App Store, beware: the moment a confusing interface tricks you into a mistake, Apple will happily take your money and lock the door behind them.

Won’t help even though I have a one year warranty

Sold me an iPhone with some issues and instead of swapping the phone or refunding me Apple just kept telling me to go back and forth to different places for them to find out what’s up with the phone obviously I’ve explained how I can’t just leave my phone for one week I need it to get around etc and they just won’t do anything even though you have a one year warranty and I reported the issue straight away.

Apple Disappoints Once Again!

Since February, I have been dealing with issues that have arisen from multiple Tahoe OS updates. I reached out for technical help and went round and round until I was finally escalated to a senior advisor, who promised she would be with me until we reached a solution. This did not happen ... twice, as I had to start all over again with another senior advisor who also did not follow through. Two months in after not getting any solutions to the problems, I wrote to the CEO. Two days later I was contacted by someone in his office who got me set up with yet another senior advisor who basically took me through the same steps I had already been taken through. The same screen shots and video grabs that went to the engineering department. All of the issues I'm experiencing were "known" issues and I've been told that the only way they get escalated is if enough people complain about them. I Googled the issues and they are all "known" issues. I was given work arounds for things you used to be able to do and was basically told that future updates would hopefully fix the issues. So now I have to take multiple steps to do things I used to be able to to do without any issue. Three months in and now several more issues have arisen from Tahoe 26.4 - Now I cannot block any email addresses in macMail from my macStudio or MacBook Air, but I can on my iPhone. With update 26.5 now I cannot block and report any spam calls or phone numbers on my iPhone. Again, all "known" issues, yet I am expected to spend over 1 hour every time a senior representative calls me to take down the information that the engineering department needs. I was giving over 1 hour each call per week and it's been 3 months now. When I asked for compensation for my time, I was informed they do not do that, even though the person I spoke with in the CEO's office originally informed me when we first spoke that she would look at what they could do for the inconvenience once we have come to a solution. Problem is, each update has created more and more issues. Now they won't even offer me something to make up for my time, inconvenience or frustration. Today I was told that if they did offer something it wouldn't be equal to the amount of my time or inconvenience. So the story keeps changing. I made it clear to them it is no longer acceptable for me to give my time to help them solve their problems. At this point, Apple is no better than Microsoft. Very disappointing. Welcome to customer service, or the lack thereof in 2026.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. I handed over my MacBook to the apple store 2 weeks ago and there’s no sign of a date for getting it fixed. Apple care + is not a guarantee that you won’t have to do without your device for an extended period of time. Have tried to resolve it over the phone but the call centre staff can only tell me that they’re waiting for the part.

Apple forcing customers to prove their age - a choice not law

Support staff are excellent. It's Apple that's the problem. It now insists customers send in personal information such as credit cards, passports or driving licences to prove we are over 18 - Apple insists this is UK law. But that is not correct - the law only extends to sites with adult content. Furthermore Apple is not transparent about who sees this PII data - who are their 'trusted' 3rd parties? What is their data storage and retention policy?

They are so unhelpful. They dont know what they are doing. I lost SO many videos and photos simply by factory resetting my iphone. But they dont care to be help. This is such a greedy company its diabolical. I guess all my dead relatives will just have to live freely in my mind and for that i thank you very much. This phone will be given away by the next hour. I will never let an iOS device near me. EVER AGAIN!!

16 Days on Still Waiting for "Express Replacement"

I am heavily invested in Apple devices, having 3 ipads, 2 iphones, 3 apple watches, a macbook pro and a mac computer. 18 months ago, while travelling I sat on my ipad pro, wrecking front and rear panels. I really need an ipad when travelling so I went straight to the nearest Apple shop and bought a new one, a basic model. Hoping to avoid the problem recurring I signed up for support package. 6th May my ipad fell off my desk and broke the screen. I rang support, it seemed that the quickest solution would be to swap the device by post. For this I have to pay a higher fee and a deposit. 5 days later I rang to find out where my new device was. The 'support operative' was abusive saying it was only 3 working days. Now, 16 days from the claim they still claim to have no stock. Yesterday they said they had stock but when they asked the warehouse for a despatch date they decided there was no stock. Total waste of time and money. How can I unwind my commitment to apple because their support is non-existant?

They took my money from an app called…Pulsetto Wellness.

They took my money from an app called Pulsetto wellness. I filed BBB against Apple and Pulsetto. Apple knowingly deals with fraudulent companies for profit. Had to change my Bank Account/card. Talking to most of their representatives is equivalent to talking to a wall.Good luck cause I am out $109.74 PS. I receive my only money from being a 100% Disabled Vet. Apple does not support America/Veterans. Thanks for your time. Mike
