I appreciated the swift response to my enquiry about comparing the 2 companies in the Norway Coastal Voyage. The information was clear and it is obvious that Suitcase Travel is an expert of this type of trip so it saved me a lot of Research time and the all inclusive quote for flights and hotels on either end made it very simple

I contacted Mike from Suitcase Travel about booking a cruise around Norway. Mike was very informative and helpful and put together an literary for me. Everything went according to plan thanks to Suitcase Travel and their team's brilliant service. I would have no hesitation in recommending all at Suitcase Travel.

We contacted Mike at Suitcase Travel as we were interested in the Coastal Express journey and they gave us extensive detail about everything we needed to know. Everything worked perfectly and the Havila Cruise was fabulous. The scenery, the excursions, the meals, the different landscapes, the staff, the expedition team were all fantastic.

Norway Tour.

I approached Mike at Suitcase Travel will some ideas about a tour of Norway. He put together the whole trip, which included, flights to Oslo, train to Trondheim, Havila boat trip to Tromso, flight to Bergen, Norway in a Nutshell with a night in Flam, back to Oslo and home, with all hotels, connections and transfers in between. It went like clockwork, we had a fabulous trip, and would highly recommend Mike and the team to plan a holiday.

We have just returned from a Havila cruise from Bergen to Kirkenes and Penny and Lyn took the stress out of booking all the various elements of our trip. The Hotel Rosenkrantz they recommended in Bergen was great...very central with amazing breakfasts! We especially appreciated having the transfers organised and it was great having a taxi waiting for us when we arrived in Kirkenes.
Communication was excellent throughout the process and all our queries were answered swiftly.
We would definitely recommend Suitcase and it's nice to support a small business too!

I would recommend Suitcase travel in a heartbeat, especially for anyone looking to book a Havila Voyages trip around the Norwegian Fjords. Mike and Lynn took all the hassle out of coordinating flights, extra nights in Bergen, transfers, excursions and the cruise itself.

Hugely helpful in getting all the details pinned down, and nothing was too much trouble - we had a fair few questions along the way, and all were answered swiftly.

The result was the most amazing trip and one we'll treasure for a very long time to come. Thank you so much.

First class service both before the holiday and excellent experience whilst on the holiday. All of the flight and transfers from airport to hotel and the hotel in Bergen work like a dream.
The experience on the costal cruise was fantastic and Mike booked us a quiet cabin for the cruise, all in all a fantastic experience.

Returned from a Bergen to Kirkenes return in January sorted out by Suitcase Travel. From the first contact with Mike following his Blog on the holiday. Mike, Lynn & the team were excellent, answering all our questions. Due to illness we were not sure if were going to be able to go. Lynn looked into the various options we had but luckily we were able to go as planned. It is the first time I have used a 'Travel Agent' to organise a foreign holiday for many years. I found Suitcase travel an excellent company to deal with. The ladies I spoke with gave superb advice and organised the trip brilliantly. They arranged flights from Kirmington to Schiphol then onto Bergen and return, sorted the bus transfers to the Cruise ship and Bergen. The hotel they selected suited our needs perfectly. Arranged our cruise and additional excursions. A great job all round enhanced by very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating staff. Thank you

We've just had a fantastic trip to Norway including 4 nights on a Havila voyages. All the extras organised by Suitcase Travel worked like the tick of a watch - the hotels, transfers and excursions were all we had hoped for and the supporting information and paperwork provided gave us all we needed for a smooth trip.
On the occasions we phoned the office for extra information prior to going we found all the staff we spoke to to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

I'd have no hesitation in recommending Suitcase Travel - we found them initially through one of Mike's blogs, highlighting the differences between Havila and Hurtigruten Norwegian voyages. I posted a question and Mike phoned me, so I was able to discuss our requirements and ask advice. Suitcase Travel were able to offer the same price as a direct booking, and with Mike's added advice and a few other benefits it made sense to book with them.

Mike's advice was spot-on, and we got the exact holiday we wanted. We could even have bought a complete flights-and-cruise custom package from him, but opted for just the cruise and got flights on airline points (Mike's advice: "remember it's a luxury, working ferry, not a cruise", was repeated at the welcome briefing onboard).

Overall - Highly recommended, particularly for the sound, personalised and friendly advice, with no "pushy" sales tactics.

What an attentive Travel agent, they made sure we had all our information and we felt supported throughout our holiday experience. We will be using them again!

Mike and Lyn were so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process and were quick to respond to any questions we had. The whole experience was enhanced because of their excellent organisation of our trip. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to use again for future trips.

I can’t really expand on all Suitcases Travel’s previous reviews. They are as good as everyone says. Personal service, attention to detail. Will definitely ask them to organise future holidays for us.

We have recently booked a 6 night Norwegian Cruise through Suitcase Travels. Mike organised our flights and transfer to and from the cruise. Unfortunately due to severe bad weather the start didn’t go to plan. Mike was on hand to inform us of the travel changes. The end of the holiday was worse the bad weather meant we missed our flight from Kirkenes to Oslo and the connecting flight to the U.K. It would have been a very stressful time of finding alternative flights and accommodation. However after emailing Mike and explaining the situation he organised everything. Flight to Oslo & overnight accommodation as the next flight out to the U.K. was the following day and transfers. All at no extra cost to us, as the Cruise ship was late arriving at Port. I can’t praise him enough he phoned and kept me up to date with all changes. The mark of a company is how well they take care of you when there is a problem Suitcase Travel and Regent Holidays were wonderful. I should add that despite the problems we enjoyed our cruise with Havila Cruises and were lucky enough to see the Northern lights on two consecutive nights.

I booked a Hurtigruten voyage along the coast of Norway with Suitcase Travel. Both Mike and Lyn were very knowledgeable about the company and details of the trip, and were happy to chat through my concerns as a solo traveller, and give me tips in advance. When I needed to swap excursions, again they were more than happy to liaise with Hurtigruten on my behalf and were able to sort things for me very quickly. All contacts, both by email and phone, were prompt and efficient but also, because they are a small company, with the “personal touch”. To top it off, they passed on some of the discount they receive from Hurtigruten so I got a small reduction. I couldn’t fault the service I received from them, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
