We had a wonderful holiday and everything went to plan with Suitcase Travel. We loved seeing Norway and enjoyed the trips we booked which all went very smoothly.
Suitcase Travel planned everything for us which meant we could relax and it was completely stress free which was so lovely.
They were in touch regularly with updates or anything we needed to do. The people I spoke to about my holiday were so helpful and friendly.
We were very impressed with Havila too. The ship was excellent, rooms really lovely, great shower, comfy bed, very clean and well appointed. The food was plentiful and delicious!
I would definitely use Suitcase Travel again and highly recommend them for a brilliantly organised and successful holiday!

Great experience. Havila Voyage booked efficiently, quiet, convenient cabin as requested was secured on Polaris and package including flights, Flybussen return tickets and two nights in Bergen in convenient hotels made the whole experience plain sailing all the way! Recommend... Leave it to the experts.

An excellent independent family run travel company - covered by ATOL. My Norwegian Coastal Cruise was very well organised by Penny and Kelly who were not only very helpful but also very knowledgeable. They helped me choose to go with Havila Voyages which was an excvellent choice. Nothing but praise for how well everything on board was run with very friendly staff and delicious food. Penny and Kelly also organised the travel arrangements to and from Bergen and were very helpful when my suitcase was left in Amsterdam on the journey to Bergen. The whole trip was fantastic and I highly recommend Suitcase Travel!!!

My brother and I have just returned from a wonderful cruise up the coast of Norway and back. I used the expertise and advice of Suitcase Travel on-line, not having booked a cruise previously.

They gave comparisons between the traditional Heutigrutten ships and the newer more eco-friendly Havila ships. We chose the more modern Havila, the poatal route, and received table service for every meal, delicious meals including beautiful fresh fish, quiet engines (half battery power), and comfortable modern decor. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful, and provided us with information about excursions and social events throughout.
The position of our cabins was good to minimise noise and motion.
Additionally, Suitcase Travel arranged flights, hotel accommodation in Bergen, and very punctual taxi service back to Bergen airport at the end.

Suitcase Travel could not have predicted a very delayed initial flight with Norwegian Airlines which caused us to miss a connecting flight at Oslo. In future I would ask Suitcase Travel for more advice about connecting flights if you are unseasoned travellers like ourselves!

The staff are always available and very helpful. The whole process of booking our holiday was seamless and stress free. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Very professional, very knowledgeable, very friendly and thoughtful throughout the whole process, from initial booking to getting you the best deal and welcoming you home. They get to know you and what you like and don't like. Then advise you once you have outlined what you are looking for. There are no hidden costs and no fee just great advice. A really excellent independent family run travel company. Really helpful in every aspect of planning our River Cruise on the Danube. Recommended to the company by two friends and it did not disappoint. They were very knowledgeable about Norway and the pros and cons of Havila and Hurtegruten. All was organised to suit our timings including flights, transfers, hotel and cruise booking and all went very smoothly and all the separate parts covered by ATOL. We would use this company again.

We came across Suitcase Travel when we were browsing options for a Norwegian fjord cruise. We found a blog comparing Hurtigruten and Havila which was really helpful. We chose Havila and booked through Suitcase Travel (though they are not local to us; that didn't make any difference) We are very glad we did so. They also booked stays in Oslo and Bergen (and a railway connection via Flam). All went smoothly. Suitcase Travel were friendly, polite and efficient. Just what we want from a travel agent!

For our first coastal cruise, Mike was able to articulate what might be important, interesting and essential for us to think about. We have just returned from a fantastic 12 day Norwegian coastal cruise on a Havila ship organised by Suitcase Travel.

This was the first time we had ever been on a cruise; although Suitcase Travel did say it is unlike any other cruise and more of an experience. It certainly was, and what a fantastic experience.

Suitcase Travel responded to all our initial apprehensive concerns and requirements and gave a thoroughly reassuring explanation of what the cruise was like in every aspect.

The Havila ship itself was brilliant. Great cabins (we had a Seaview Superior), wonderful food and a lovely relaxing and social atmosphere (don't expect any entertainment), either inside with very large windows or out on deck, watching the beautiful Norwegian coast go by.

We could not fault how well the trip was organised by Suitcase Travel, right from the flights between Gatwick and Bergen, accommodation in Bergen on the first night, and the accommodation on board the ship right down to the cabin location on the starboard side to minimise noise when we docked at night. We never heard a thing when we docked at night, although fellow passengers on the port side said the same and when you watch the docking during the day it is a very smooth and quiet affair.

I had always wanted to go on the Norwegian coastal cruise since I saw it on television as a teenager. I am now 70 and Suitcase Travel; although they did not know it at the time; have helped fulfil my dream. As a bonus we also saw the Northern Lights!

If anyone has a similar dream to mine, then I can recommend the Havila line and I would thoroughly recommend using Suitcase Travel to organise the trip.

I used Suitcase Travel to book my first ever solo holiday to Norway. All the members of staff I was in touch with were friendly and helpful throughout. During the holiday there were a couple of issues with hotel strikes and train cancellations and it was a great comfort to know that these sorts of things would be sorted out for me.

The proposed trip along the coast of Norway was out of our usual travel experience. I usually book independently but I took good advice and used Suitcase Travel for their exceptional experience in this area. It was comforting to know that there was back up if the notoriously changeable weather disrupted any arrangements…it didn’t! We had a great trip. Highly recommended.
