My issue was solved in lightning speed.
Very friendly.
Rare 5 star ! But deserves
The Minisforum PC has exceeded my expectations. It’s a beautifully designed machine that’s excellent for AI workloads. The craftsmanship feels premium, it stays impressively quiet even under heavy load (quieter than my laptop), and the performance is outstanding.
The AI470 offers incredible value, and the customer support has been top-notch. It’s refreshing to see a company focused on delivering powerful, affordable hardware while other major brands like Dell and Lenovo seem to have neglected the high-performance tiny PC market. Minisforum has become my go-to recommendation for anyone looking for the best price-to-performance ratio in a compact desktop.
My tiny PC feels less like a computer and more like a premium piece of industrial art sitting on my desk. The included dock stands are also a thoughtful bonus that adds to the overall experience.
A big thank you as well for offering a barebones version. It gives enthusiasts the flexibility to choose their own RAM and storage, making an already great product even better.
The customer support team was solution oriented, user friendly and very fast. My Mini-PC got broken during the warranty period. Help, support and finally a new device was offered professionally.

I made the incorrect order and the company swiftly agreed to fully refund me upon contact their support team. They also offered me a $20 discount coupon as a gesture of goodwill for my future purchase. Prompt correspondance and great products! I also already own their older 'UM790 Pro' model mini PC and have enjoyed it's build quality and performance for a few years now.

After one year the MS01 did not power on any more. The support was good, reacted quickly and repaired it under warranty. Great customer service!

Brilliant little machine for local AI work. After around 5 months:
I picked up the AI X1 Pro (Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 with the Radeon 890M iGPU and 86 TOPS NPU) to run AMD ROCm AI workloads locally, and it's been excellent. On Ubuntu with ROCm 7.2, everything was detected cleanly — CPU, GPU, and NPU — and PyTorch immediately saw the GPU.
The standout is the 128GB unified memory, which lets me load models that wouldn't fit on most consumer GPUs. I've run PyTorch, MIGraphX, ONNX Runtime and even served Gemma 4 26BMoF (128K context) through vLLM on it. All of this from a tiny, quiet, power-sipping box.
Great build quality, runs cool, and is a superb, cost-effective entry point to on-device AI without a discrete GPU. Highly recommended — I've written up my whole setup at ojitha.github.io.

Great build quality. I bought the Bare Bones AI X1 470 and I'm still waiting on RAM and an SSD but the unit is quite solid and was well shipped. I especially appreciated the prompt and curteous customer service. I had a couple of questions after I purchased and Floyd quickly responded each time. Excellent experience.

We purchased an MS-01 PC a few months ago and set it up as a Proxmoxserver. Everything worked perfectly right from the start. The 10Gb network adapters were also detected immediately and function flawlessly. However, the unit failed after three months; it would no longer boot. We sent the device to Hamburg and received a replacement without any hassle. Whitout the (lengthy) postal transit and shipping wait times, it would have deserved even more than five stars.

This is my third 'minis' computer I purchased, and the whole purchasing and setting up a barebone computer went surprisingly well, with a quick delivery, timely response to my queries, especially setting up the OS, and now I am slowly rebuidling my computer, then I will be able to assess the improvement over the previous model. Onwards and upwards, let's hope things keep getting even better.

They got my system running after it only ran for 12 hours and wound not power on after. Fingers crossed I won't need them again, but happy for the repair.

Using my Minisforum UM560 mini computer since many years, it failed. I used the support to request support/service. After some initial diagnostics, I was suggested to send in my computer to the repair center. 1 week later it's returned to me with a detailed repair report and it's working perfectly fine again. I'm super happy with my Minisforum computer and also the very effective repair service.
