I actually rang these accidentally.
Seemed helpful to start with. Courtesy car on drive next day. New Mercedes which had faults of its own. My car didnt move for any repairs. Then had to Chase them up after a week of speaking to 5 different ppl 2 of whom were my case handler ??? For them to ring and tell me third party not accepting liability... even though I were stationary. Only willing to try and claim from anybody and everybody insurance companies. I got in touch with my own insurance company and all sorted within a weeks time. That's professionals at work. Not stocalfe.

We’re pleased to hear your own insurer was able to bring the matter to a resolution for you, but we also want to clarify why things unfolded the way they did on our side. Stocalfe Response is a non‑fault accident management company, which means we can only handle claims where the third party accepts liability and we claim the costs directly from them so not to affect your insurance premiums. We provided you with a replacement car during this time to keep you mobile during our investigations, at no cost to you.

Unfortunately, in your case, the third party strongly disputed the circumstances. Because liability wasn’t accepted, we weren’t able to progress repairs or continue the claim as a non‑fault case.

We understand how confusing and inconvenient that can feel especially when you’ve already received a hire vehicle and expected the process to move forward as normal. We also appreciate the added frustration with the hire car issues, and we apologise that this added to your overall dissatisfaction. We have escalated these issues to Europcar.

Our intention is always to make things easier during what is already a stressful time, and we’re sorry that your experience didn’t reflect the service we aim to provide. We’ll be reviewing this case internally to ensure we improve communication and support in situations where liability is disputed, so clients like yourself have clearer expectations from the outset.

Supported every step of the way

Following a collision that wasn't my fault Stocalfe have supported me every step of the way. They arranged prompt roadside assistance, managing to get my car towed away within the hour which potentially saved me hundreds in fees. A hire vehicle arrived within 24 hours from the other side of the country: no mean feat when someone lives as remotely as I do. My employer has a strict office attendance policy and the hire vehicle meant I was able to meet it without interruption.
I have found everyone I have come into contact with to be friendly, supportive and approachable. I'm not used to dealing with insurance companies and everything has been explained clearly and patiently to me.
We're coming towards the end of the process, but there is still some way to go. I'm confident that Stocalfe will continue to work effectively and that everything will be resolved.
So far, they have managed to make an unpleasant, disruptive incident manageable and I couldn't ask for anything more.

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Stocalfe Response following my non-fault accident. They called me very quickly after the incident, which instantly put my mind at ease. A courtesy car was delivered within just two days – and that included a weekend – which was incredibly convenient and meant I wasn’t left stuck without transport.

My own car was collected and taken for repair within four days, and everything was explained to me clearly at every step. The team were friendly, professional, and always happy to answer any questions. I was kept fully updated throughout the whole process, so I always knew what was happening and when.

Overall, the experience was smooth, efficient, and completely stress-free. I’m genuinely very impressed and extremely grateful for how well everything was handled. State of loan vehicle …

The only problem I have is the condition of the hire car I was given. The inside was very dirty. I had to put water in the radiator and the screen wash also the tyre pressures were showing on the dashboard to be low. I I feel that the vehicle should have been checked before being released for use . The guys at Stocalfe Response were extremely helpful and very helpful. Apart from the loan car they were extremely helpful and professional.
