Starling isn't a secure bank

Starling isn't a secure bank. It doesn't perfom updates. This poses a risk to customers. Starling uses an obsolete version of Next js (15.5.20). This version contains vulnerabilities.

BUSINEES ACCOUNT WORSE THAN USELESS

I tried to add my wife to my Starling business account as a share holder. But the bots / algorithms they use totally cocked it up. They said it found a red flag. I’ve been with my wife for over 20 years. We have a mortgage together. And children. Because no humans or common sense are involved in the process, they didn’t ask any questions that could have easily have proven she was perfectly OK to be added. This ‘compromised’ my entire business account and me and I had to shut the whole thing down. Their advice? Move to a different bank…NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE FOR BUSINESS. Avoid.

Our business accounts require all directors and PCS’s to be onboarded as part of our security and regulatory requirements. If we cannot include all of the persons, we would be unable to offer banking services to the business.
