Couldn’t be better
Everyone was very helpful and kind from first visit to installation. The demo suite was an extremely useful experience, to be recommended.

Everything was really efficient
Everything was really efficient.
From the order to the chaps coming to arrange the electricity connection to the actual fitting of the stair lift. Although I was not ready to accept that I needed it, it really works well … and I do need it !

I have had 2 units - both failed and no service for the second companyHMEBC
I have had 2 units - 1 in 2018 which kept throwing off its rubber gasket on a cone shaped wheel and the footrest shaft snapped right away - metal over tempered. So, I had it repaired 3 times at $1000 - $3000+ cost. Then the user passed and it stayed at rest for 5 years - then I needed and it kept throwing the rubber gasket which caused the unit to run for a few feet and then stop suddenly =activated the brake system. So, I decided to by a new unit and hope for the best. $$18,500.00 later a redesigned unit (2095) but it kept beeping all the time and the installer couldn't repair it, but I was offered a repair for $800,00 (felt like a scam and while I was using it, it flashed and banged and now is frozen 1/2 up the stairs and the company won't repair it. They traveled to sell it but won't do so to repair it (to far) So, think twice before buying one.

Dead Stairlift repaired before lunch.
Stairlift stopped working in morning. Contacted Bristol by email. Very quick response confirming engineer would visit shortly. After confirming by 'phone, engineer arrived and confirmed fault.
Friendly and helpful engineer repaired stairlift and carried out annual service before lunch.
A1+ service from all Stannah representatives, thank you.
