We have been working with Source Bioscience on a large single-cell RNA sequencing project involving 100 libraries, and we’ve been extremely impressed by the quality of their service. It’s our first time doing a project of such scale. Unlike some other providers, Source Bioscience offers a fast, flexible and highly personable experience.

The sales team were responsive, professional and willing to create a tailored service quote that met our specific project needs. The laboratory team also deserves particular recognition for their thoroughness and expertise. They were proactive in troubleshooting minor issues and ensured that our project running smoothly at the set deadlines. We also had no issues with data transfer of such large project so far.

Quick and reliable sequencing.
I used Nanopore 30 service for whole plasmid sequencing and got the result on the morning of next day, very convenient.

Exceptional customer service with very friendly and quick response times. Very competitive prices for NGS services and consistently high quality data outputs. As a UK customer the sample shipping process is extremely easy and convenient compared to many competing services requiring international shipping.

Appalling turnaround times.
They advertise sanger sequencing for next day, but they can't make sure that the courier picks up the samples. It sometimes arrives before the pick up time, they dont organise the pick up, and now twice i've had samples broken during shipment. When told about these issues, i was simply told that "they cannot control the courier". They simply dont deliver the service they promise and make you pay for. How can you be competitive in your science if it take a week to get simple sequencing results?? Avoid Source Bioscience at any cost.

I saw online a promotion of 2 bottles and 1 free one for $39.95. I ordered this. I then received an email showing a charge of $269.99.
I called the company and was told that I ordered the item for $269.99.
I called the company and I said that I want a refund. I was given a partial refund of $130.00. I was told that in 2 to 3 weeks after they received the 7 bottles that they shipped I will receive a credit of $129.99.
Today, I received 2 email showing a credit of $16 and $64.99. I called to see when I would receive a credit of $40.99.
I called and was told that there is a restocking fee of $7 per bottle.
I was NEVER told this by the company.

Used for a PCR. Son got covid before a holiday and the travel insurance wanted a PCR as proof. Ordered Monday, delivered Tuesday and posted back. Result Wednesday. Competitive price as well.

I paid for 3 ready-to-fly PCR tests and sent it off on Sunday evening.
On Tuesday morning (the day before my flight) I got two results for 2 of us but not the third one.
According to their website 'dispatched, waiting for result'.
My flight is less than two hours' time and I together with my elderly parents will have to miss this flight at great cost.
Source Science should not be allowed to offer this PCR test if they don't have the capacity to do this properly.
Total waste of money & wished I had done a test at a centre instead.

an excellent service, email query answered within 5 minutes and test results for Covid received the following day from posting (and on a Saturday. First Class.

Result came through within 30h of me posting my sample, and much under 24h from it being received in the lab.

Just emailed earlier with a query about the process and got a personalised response within less than half an hour. Super impressed with that service.

I ordered two Pcr test day 2, on Friday 4th of March. Today it's the 8th of March, our day 2 to make the test and we haven't received them. They blamed Royal Mail for the delay and don't want to give a refund. I used other companies in the past and never had an issue like that. I do not recommend this company to anyone. It is a waste of money (I had to buy another one from another company) and time.

Would thoroughly recommend using these guys simply for their customer service! There was a delay in the postal service (through no fault of Source BioScience) and so they didn't receieve my test until the morning of my flight. I emailed and within minutes I received a reply, from Emma at Source BioScience, explaining the situation. She was then incredibly quick to respond and helpful for the rest of the morning, providing me regular updates on my test! Emma + the team have been on it all morning and are hopefully getting my result to me on time - so a big shout out to the customer service team! It doesn't go unnoticed and is incredibly appreciated.

My parents came to visit london for 4 days only so ordered day 2 PCR to arrive on the day of their arrival. It is day 2 now and tests have not arrived so no chance we can use them timely to receive results by the day they fly out. It address the stress to find safe day pcr tests not yo mention the costs! Avoid

Got the test sent before we have arrived to UK (day 2 tests), took the tests on day 2, finally one of the test result arrived next week. Nearly a whole 7 days. Not impressed.
