Absolutely brilliant! I found Phil on a local community page where everyone recommended him — and they were right to do so. He’s friendly, honest, and incredibly helpful. He was able to source the exact part I needed and even showed me a couple of features on my laptop that I didn’t know existed. Highly recommend!

Popped in due to a fan issue on my laptop. Checked and fixed the issue there and then. Great service at a reasonable price.

Went out of my way to travel to Phil given his expertise with gaming rigs, and I'm so glad I did. He was actually willing give me pointers on how to try a remedy my issue on the phone before even visiting, but alas an oaf like me couldn't figure it out!

Phil sorted a very hands on fault with no issues and gave me useful updates to keep me informed. Very reasonable price, will definitely be using Phil again should I need to.

Phil recently transferred all our data from old computer to new Windows 11 computer. We had excellent service, fast & efficient, and cannot recommend him highly enough. He was very patient with a two peopleof advanced years (!) and explained everything so that we understood! We are lucky to have such a talented & experienced specialist on our doorstep. Ordered a SSD with intent to clone previous data onto the new one, discovered that was impossible and had to change tactics to do a fresh install of windows. Talked me though and gave updates as new information was discovered. Felt incredibly valued and high levels of customer communication throughout. 10/10

Phil was incredible. Despite the bad diagnosis of my poor Pc we found a solution and build pretty much a new pc re using hard drive, and GPU. A very good price, and ending having a good beast and well looking gaming computer. I do not think could be better place to go in the manchester area, worth every penny.

Phil, Explained issues & quoted fair price to repair, clean & upgrade old computer which has been gathering dust for nearly 3 years. Unfortunately it's windows 10 but can be used for my grandaughter until wndows 10 expires.Would recommend Software Solutions for professional knowledge & brilliant customer service.

September 2025 - Fantastic service from Phil, I would highly recommend and will be returning. I had 2 laptops that needed repairing one relatively inexpensive one and one quite expensive gaming one. The cheaper one was fixed at a fantastic price in less than 24hrs. Unfortunately the more expensive one Phil, told me honestly was going to be too expensive to repair (cheaper to buy a new one!) Thanks for the honesty Phil, I really appreciated it. I will be back to get a more robust gaming PC. Already been quoted a great price. Thanks again Phil. One very happy new customer 😁

I have visited here before and Phil always does a great job for a very reasonable price. Dropped in on spec to see if he could help with my laptop, turning off and not being able to turn it back on, he fixed it there and then but I wanted him to give it a check over and sort out a few running problems So he said bring it in tomorrow and I will give it a clean, an update and check for viruses. He did it overnight and for a very good price. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Phil recently upgraded the RAM on my autistic grandson's computer. We enquired on Tuesday, the parts arrived on Wednesday and it was fitted by 4pm that day. He squeezed us in and did it while we waited understanding that my grandson finds it hard to be without his laptop. He even did a quick and much needed clean. Fantastic knowledgeable service!

We had a freak thing happen of the plastic strip on a printer cartidge feed into the printer and get caught on the spool. Phil kindly offered to take a look at it for us and took the time to gently take the printer apart and retrieve the plastic strip. He then performed all the tests to ensure it was returned to us in full working order. Exceptional service and communication.
