What a fantastic concept! Having bought my first house, I was shocked to see the price of a brand new sofa. Much like a car, I have resolved to never buy one new.
The trouble is, Facebook marketplace & eBay both require a lot of back & forth & also requires you to arrange collection. Not everyone has access to a van!
Sofalistic is a fantastic online marketplace for second hand sofas, that facilitates the collection & delivery too. It was so easy to purchase & I love my sofa so much! I bought a tan leather corner sofa for £750, in immaculate condition! Shame I can't upload pics here.
Some minor feedback though would be that the website is very slow when operating from my phone, which made viewing each product quite cumbersome as each page took so long to load. No issues from my laptop however!
Also it would be great if the listings could be verified before publishing, as some had clearly incorrect dimensions listed, no image, or poor imagery.
It would also be great if one could filter by size, to narrow down the search choice for a particular space. All of these things would make the consideration steps much easier, but the purchase itself, as well as the delivery, were both faultless. Will always recommend this site & like Backmarket for my phones, will only shop here for sofas from now on 😀

My sofa was sold in days and I received payment about 1 week after collection. No awkward negotiation, no “no-show” buyers. Was told up front the amount I would receive after fees etc so I could price my sofa accordingly. Excellent communication every step of the way.

Had a fantastic experience from start to finish. I made a mistake when ordering with my email address, I contacted Sofalistic who were prompt with sorting out the issue. Delivery was quick (1 week), delivery guys were courteous and respectful. Overall would definitely recommend. Sofa is exactly as advertised and no issues AT ALL.

To be truthful I was a bit skeptical at first but this service went beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to sell their sofa.

The buying and delivery of my sofa was pretty much seamless, however the men who delivered the sofa caused £250 worth of damage to a wall when bringing the sofa in to the house. There appear to be no routes to enquire whether compensation is available for this type of incident, but I see that delivery is fully insured. The delivery men departed without acknowledging this very evident damage which unfortunately has put a dampener on my overall experience.

The item we got was great and for a really good price. The minor downside is the variance on delivery time; you can select a day, and they'll inform you the evening before of a timeslot spanning a few hours that the delivery will most likely arrive. There is a disclaimer that it might also arrive outside of those times, which is what happened in our case. This isn't terribly unusual for bookable delivery, but worth bearing in mind if you're used to being able to choose AM/PM timeslots etc.

Great way to sell a sofa. It took a few months and I actually forgot I'd listed it, but got full price and was really easy to organise pick up and delivery. Absolutely zero hassle. Friendly couriers. Great customer service too. Would 100% recommend.

Our sofa delivery was confirmed for Monday 27th May. The very last day on our expected delivery window.
They contacted us in the last hour of the day to say it would be another 5 days. Only to get a all last Thursday to say the sofa would be delivered today. Email confirmation came through after the call but they are now unable to deliver today after arrangements have been made with work. All the phone calls we have had now dont connect and they dont repsond to emails. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

A brilliant way to sell a sofa. The whole process was very professional and I was kept informed at every stage. Advertise your sofa, someone buys it, Sofalistic collect it (it's all wrapped ready for delivery). You are advised when it will be delivered and once it is the payment reaches your bank.
I couldn't fault it.

Good way to sell a good condition sofa and company very efficient - however be prepared to be patient it can take a number of months to get a buyer. Plus kept receiving one line 'is this sofa still for sale' messages but then no responses to my replies; eventually concluded these were phishing.

Very easy to use as a seller! We sold our sofa within a few days, had 2 lovely men come and collect it on an agreed date and then paid shortly after the buyer was happy :) couldn’t have asked for a more professional and smooth service, thank you!
