Excellent, no nonsense installation from Snug.

Installation engineer Paul was very professional. The overall quality of service and work was very impressive.

From start to finish Snug energy were excellent, clean and tidy, friendly and knowledgeable particularly the electrician, the solar system has been installed now for 4 months and there hasn't been any problems

From start to finish a professional attitude was applied and once I was committed all stages were communicated to me and the time table was kept.
Survey was carried out and a lot of information was gleaned from it.
Quote was produced within 24hrs and was accompanied by detailed outline of parts, and system expectations.
Admin team were there to handhold and inform on any queries with ease.
Scaffolding went up the day before the installation team arrived promptly with all components and job was completed with them cleaning the site area of any packaging.
Would recommend them (already have) to other potential customers.

I have recently had Solar and Battery Storage fitted and from start to finish it’s been the smoothest process, a survey was booked in the following day to my phone call, the surveyor(Andrew) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, once we had decided to go with this company the install was complete within 2 weeks the lady in the office (Kerry) called me to confirm when scaffold was going up and coming down and when the roofers and electricians would be here the office staff are extremely efficient and kept us up to date throughout. Once the install was complete everything was working great we got our handover pack a week later and now generating solar and saving money, all for a very competitive price.

The installation electrician arrived very promptly and was hard at work all day. The roof people likewise arrived mid-morning and were very efficient in fixing the panels. Problems unanticipated by the original surveys were rapidly resolved. All the staff were friendly and hard-working. When I had inquiries about how to access the GivEnergy website and app, Carl the electrician was very helpful, as were staff in the Snug Energy office. Now to begin experiencing the benefits of solar!

Having a boiler fitted by snug energy seemed to cause a valve problem elsewhere. Left me with a faulty heating system throughout winter. Took snug energy 3 months to identify the problem. They wouldn’t replace the valve free of charge and did a temporary repair which could have been dangerous.
Reported to citizens advise who passed the information to trading standards. Wouldn’t use snug energy again.

Absolutely fantastic service from Snug.
After having a really bad experience with another solar company (F4S) for the last 8 months with lies and failed installs.
We were very cautious about getting another one.

We contacted about 6-7 other companies and snug were the only ones that wanted to actually come out and quote properly for us.

Andrew (owner) was great and we had a good chat about what we wanted to achieve with our solar setup etc and agreed on a solution.

When asked about lead times we were told within the next couple of weeks no problem, but they actually called back the same day as they had a cancellation so would I like to take that one which was about 10 days time.
We paid our 10% deposit and waited.
Had a few emails from Rebecca regarding what was happening and confirming the scaffold company date etc
And regular text reminders for all the steps up to our install date.
The day of install, the team turned up and installed our panels, invertor and 2 batteries.
They have done a great job and were respectful of our home, cleaning up after themselves etc.
I had a good chat with the lad who commissioned the set up and he explained stuff to me before leaving.
Answering all my newby questions.
The after care from snug has also been brilliant.
I've had a few email conversations with Andrew and Rebecca since the install and they've always come back to me quickly with the answers I needed.
We had our MCS certificate, building regs documents etc the next day before I'd even paid them the balance.
Our DNO letter for the export has also been forwarded today (2 days after install) so we can get signed up for exporting with our provider.

Overall I would not hesitate in recommending SnugEnergy to anyone.

Especially after the previous complete farce of an order with F4S.

Could not be happier with the service we've received

A big thank you to Andrew and Rebecca for making this whole thing totally painless and restoring our faith that there are decent companies out there.

After having 3 quotes I decided to opt for Sung as the reviews were slightly better across the various online review aggregators, and they were the only potential vendor to actually visit for a survey prior to the quote.

The quote was reasonable, the lead time also acceptable. I was called to advise when the scaffolding was going up, and this again was a painless process.

The installation itself was quick and seemingly efficient. The actual installation of the panels was quick, although this team did leave quite a lot of mess by way of cut tie wraps left all over the drive and other debris, either from the packaging or from the roof. Not the end of the world, just that I had to clear up after them, but enough to downgrade from 5 stars to 4.

You can really only tell the true quality of a company when things do not go 100% to plan. At the end of my install the system would not communicate with the wireless network and therefore I had no visibility of the performance without opening the garage and messing with the physical buttons on the installed box.

While this, in all reality, is a minor issue as the system was working and generating power, I was impressed with the fact that Snug kept me in the loop and updated asto the steps to resolve.

The issue is now resolved and fully working, Snug visited 3 times in total and have replaced several parts of the system which, as it turns out, were actually not faulty.

I was expecting a fight to get this fixed, and I am sure with other companies it would have been a battle - however with Snug the issue was addressed, I was kept updated, and it was pursued until it was all resolved.

What's more impressive is that by mistake I paid the entire invoice rather than the deposit prior to the installation. So they diligently continued to fix my issues, even though they had been fully paid up!

I hired this company to install my PV panels and Battery after losing my deposit with another installer. They were very helpful and reassured me that my deposit was insured by HIES. They also worked with me to help assure me that their team would install the PV panels, sending me a photo of the equipment. They booked an installation date and everything went well. Their installation team were excellent and they stayed to finish the job within 1 day. I highly recommend Snug Energy and Andrew and Rebecca are very professional and made every effort to help me.

From start to finish they were prompt, efficient and very competitive when it comes to pricing.
Andrew did the quote and once the contract was signed it was plain sailing until it was installed.
The teams that installed was fantastic, turned up on time and very respectful of our property and left it as they found it.

What a great company! Came out to survey and chat through what we actually needed. They were the only company we called who asked to see the property and they really listened to what we wanted to achieve. Gave sensible options and a good price. When we placed the order, we got a provisional date which was confirmed later the same day. Really tidy and professional install and all hard working staff. Everything done on time and to a high standard. We can’t recommend them highly enough! Very impressed.

Had a completely new boiler, pipes and radiators installed a couple of years ago. Andrew was knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with & the job was completed smoothly. I have since used Snug for annual boiler service/gas checks & have always found their team to be friendly, professional & reliable. I would highly recommend them.

Terrible company! Run away! They flooded my house, damaged main drain pipe and ruined my worktop. They`re offer £650 for replacing all laminate floor and fixing unrepairble worktop. That`s not even cover the labour!
All finished in court.

Had a recent issue with my solar battery. I was called within minutes of reporting the issue and an engineer was arranged. He arrived within 2 hours and sorted the problem. The customer service and friendly team are excellent.

Had new boiler fitted beginning of pandemic. Had numerous problems and new parts fitted. Phoned yesterday because boiler packed in so no water no heating. As usual no answer. Spoke to someone this morning and as usual passed it on to viessmann. They said can't come out until Tuesday. Two 60 year old people in for a mega week to snug and viessmenn cheers.

Had Solar PV fitted in my mother’s house. The company was excellent from start to finish. The price was good, engineers were very efficient and clean and the office made sure we were happy. Great company who I can highly recommend

Snug just fitted solar PV and a battery for my parents. After getting numerous quotes from other companies we found Snug the most knowledgeable and trustworthy. So happy with the work. Job completed in a day, tidied up and engineers really pleasant. Very happy we went with Snug! Thanks for making this a pain free experience!

I had to switch from biomass boiler to gas system boiler. I invited 3 companies to provide quotes and I must say Snug Energy was the most responsive, efficient- knowledgeable engineer came at the time was booked (I know, you’d think it should be a norm- it is not unfortunately) and quote followed shortly? Quote was very easy to read with additional options if wanted to upgrade.
Let me say a little more about other 2 companies- both turned up, but at different times- one too early despite clear communication to avoid 9:30-10am, and what time did he turn up? 9:35.. the other one was booked for 6pm, called at 11am that is on the way..
Pricing- Snug Energy provided quote very promptly, the other 2- well, I’m still awaiting quotes from them🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ surveys completed mid November.. one has indicated total price for the job would be £6-8k, but never provided quote
Snug Energy total price got to just under £4. One might think that perhaps different materials were accounted for- now, there is only one boiler suitable for our property and both were taking the same into account.
Communication- cannot really fault Snug Energy- we all are busy people these days, and finding service providers who understand that and use texts/ emails/ links etc to communicate on the top of quick phone calls if anything needed additional discussion, was very refreshing. I had follow up after installation too, all dealt with very promptly. And both engineers on the day, as well as electricians on following day, very knowledgeable, considerate and tidy!

All in all- couldn’t recommend enough
