cool tool, but watch the renewal policy closely, price might multiply swiftly..

Their product is good, but their upselling techniques feels like a ropery

They ask you how many events do you have, and they limit your usage to that exact number, then when you grow up in the events, you need to double your plan to get more events added

Very bad UX! Its to hard to watch a lot of different sessions, video loading soo slow, fps amazingly bad. Hotjar 1000x better. Hard to filter and mark sessions. Hard to navigate to the next session or previos, there is no list of next session when you in player mode/

Smartlook is a lifesaver. I am so grateful for smartlook who allows me to learn a lot about customer behavior and how well my website is doing. I am marketing economist with IT as extra subject and been working online since 1994. Almost 30 years now. Smartlook is the best tool I know to monitor and learn if my websites are really working as I want. A must for the online marketer and the webdesigner. I praise them for the 3000 visits allowed each month as I would not have been able to use them without it as I am a senior now. Unemployed, with broken right arm and immensely grateful for their free version which has helped me so much. Thanks to them my sites are starting to work better and my handicap is not as much in the way for me to earn something for a living.

Well, apparently I'm signed up somehow as they are emailing me. So I went to their website to see who they are and what they do. Well, the have a whole website of completely useless generic pages and content that say absolutely nothing. There is no mention of what kink of business they are or anything. WOW, how can you have a website that says nothing, Well damn skipper, that was a waste money to whoever you paid for a fake website. That is just really shady. So, i went to ask on their chat app, now there is a skeduled appointment to get me started. Started at what?? They still never said anything I was auto signed up for this with out consent from the damn chat bot!!! There is something very wrong with this site, I advise people to stear clear it's very off!

It is very hard to cancel your subscription.
They continued to charge me despite removing the service from my site.
Not responsive on their site messenger.

just perfect! working smooth and very easy to use

I absolutely love smart look not only for the amount of features that it packs into it but how good those features are, we generally use it for spotting technical issues or seeing the heat maps but its also allowed us to see the main points at which people abandon carts and although we can see that through GA, Smartlook allows us to see what they are looking at when the do it which helps us to narrow down why they left. All of the other features are phenomenal and I just cant fault the support and everything to do with them 😊

Since the events are all automatically tracked, we can ask "I wonder how many users have used this feature since it launched?" and get instant answers by searching the pre-recorded events. It's truly mind-blowing!

And last but not least, the support team at Smartlook was AMAZING! Our product uses a few layout attributes that the Smartlook recorder wasn't capturing correctly at first. The Smartlook team worked with us over 2 days to quickly resolve the issue to support our use case and now it's all working perfectly.

First of all, their website doesn't have the information needed to integrate the tracking code after creating an account. Secondly, the tracking code supplied in the email they sent also doesn't work. It links to a script that doesn't exist (404 error). Same with the one on their support page and startup guide. I won't even bother contacting them because because if the basic functionality doesn't work out of the box, I will never trust them to record any data on my website.
