SPLINE customer service is terrible, DO NOT USE IT

I bought Spline and spent some time reading through the features and looking around the platform. Without even using it, I could tell it wasn't going to be the right fit for what I needed. So the very next day I reached out asking for a refund.

Their response was basically a copy-paste of their policy. All payments are non-refundable. Cancel your plan and stop using it. That's it. No willingness to consider that I'd bought it less than 24 hours ago and hadn't even touched the product.

When I pushed back, I got the exact same message again. Word for word. No acknowledgment, no human judgment, just policy on repeat.

Most SaaS companies give you at least a short refund window. Refusing to refund a customer who paid yesterday and never used the product isn't a policy worth defending. It's a choice to prioritize short-term revenue over basic trust.

I'd be careful before committing money here. If Spline turns out not to be for you, that's your loss, not theirs. Hopefully the team there learns that how you treat people after they pay says more about your company than any feature page ever will.

Terrible Customer Service

I was very disappointed with Spline’s customer service. My subscription was automatically renewed even though I simply forgot to disable it in time. When I requested a refund, I was told it was impossible, even though it’s their fault: they don’t send any emails or reminders to notify users that the subscription will renew, which is completely unacceptable.

Nonexistent and frustrating customer service. Very bad experience, avoid if you want to prevent unfair automatic charges.

I wanted to like Spline

I wanted to like Spline, but the overall experience left me feeling burned.

After using it for a month, I was charged $25 USD for a new month without realizing it was about to renew. I cancelled immediately and was told I’d still have full access through the paid period. Then export didn’t work, meaning the one feature I needed was unavailable right after I was charged.

Support asked for a recording, and later it seemed to work again, but that doesn’t fix the underlying problem: the service wasn’t reliable when I needed it, and the renewal I didn’t intend to pay for wasn’t refunded. That combination makes the service feel untrustworthy.

If you’re on the fence, compare alternatives first. There are other tools that cover similar needs for free and with less hassle.
