I was mostly an easy experience with easily executed procedures. They even offered me an automatic car, although I have booked a manual, without any extra cost.

We didn’t have working climate control for the back seats of the minivan, and the children overheated. The next day, we hoped to swap the minivan, but they didn’t have another vehicle available. When we contacted them about the issue, they started arguing that the AC was working, even though it clearly wasn’t providing any cooling to the back seats. Four days after we returned the car, they started looking for faults in order to claim additional money from us. Fortunately, we had taken photos and had evidence of the car’s condition when we returned it.

Booked "type Corsa" with Sunny Cars trough Booking.com and we received a MG3 Hybrid. Car was clean en drives realy good.
Pick-up was fast, but difficult to understand at a crowded desk. There are a lot of papers to sign without you understanding what is you're signing for. The parking lot is is difficult to find in the dark and about 100m away from desk.
Returning in daylight was much easier and also very quick and helpful guys at the parking lot.

We had already prepaid the entire rental and were simply there to pick up the car. Despite this, we were treated incredibly rudely by the woman at the reception desk. She was unhelpful, dismissive, and showed absolutely no interest in providing good customer service.

The whole experience gave us the impression that they were constantly looking for ways to charge us additional fees, rather than simply providing the service we had already paid for. When you have already paid for your booking, the least you should expect is a professional, respectful, and helpful attitude.

Unfortunately, Sicily by Car completely failed in that regard. The customer service was extremely disappointing, and the way we were treated left a very bad impression of the company.

We will never rent from Sicily by Car again, and I would strongly recommend others to think twice before booking with them. There are plenty of other car rental companies where you can expect to be treated with basic respect and professionalism.

For us, it’s definitely never Sicily by Car again.

Worst holiday experience ever. They gave us incompatible child seat and didn’t even try to help because „This is not their responsibility”. They are also scamming you when you don’t have a credit card with you with extra expenses. 3 or 4 people got scammed by them when I was there. Be prepared to pay twice as much or even more when you book the car

I used Sicily by CAR for the second time, and once again, I was very pleased with the experience. It was a great automatic car that was practically new; I received quick service with clear instructions on where the car was located, and returning it was also quick and easy. In short, a great company that I can recommend!
