Absolutely not, the details were changed (as we used his credit card) to Simon Thexton, I was one of the drivers and I was there throughout the whole process, from start to finish. To imply and suggest that I am making this up is totally absurd. Please go back and check your records. I have witnesses. I shouldn’t actually be surprised by this reaction.

The car was a disgrace, absolutely pathetic gutless thing couldn’t get up hills or get up to speed. Never been in a worse car, shouldn’t hire them out in hilly towns, absolutely pathetic excuse for a car.
The guy who checked our car in at the end when we dropped it off was great.

Not very nice staff. Very expensive if you do not own a credit card. It would have been cheaper with Herz or Avis. Next time we will not use sicilybycar again!!

Great at everything, pickup, return and support

Service was ok, but not more. Picking up took about 30 min which is too long given they already have all details. Car was a Skoda Stationwagon, but only had the very basic setup. Could not even charge my phone via the front USB ports as it said accessory could not be connected. Returning the car was smooth.

Travel in Malta, pickup at the airport, réservation made from home.
Crazy paperwork, you have to sign moré than 20 sides of conditions. Accept optional insurance. And all for a wreck car, milleage over 100 000 km, bad condition , screen of radio brocken, air cooling doesn’t work. I forgot my first expérience with Scily by car in Crête but this is the extreme limit of low cost. Better choose a standard hiring compagny, it will cost the same price with normal service.

Landed at Faro airport 10.30 pm, flight delayed by 2hrs, received text message that office will close at 11pm,if they remained open after that time we would be charged a late arrival fee of 50 euros.I couldn,t find pick up location but managed to get to the office by 10.45 pm to find 1 member of staff dealing with 3 customers, eventually another member of staff appeared, seemingly she had been driving the minibus, clearly understaffed to say the least.I apologised for the flight being delayed, not our problem was the reply but you will be charged a late fee as the booking transaction will take you past 11pm, go back to Jet 2 for a refund if you don't like was another reply to my valid response stating it was 10.45pm.She then pushed to sell me the extra car insurance which I didn't want, trying to scare me saying that I have no insurance whatsoever, if I broke down there would be no help from them,all of this with an aggressive and rude attitude.If you don't want our insurance you have to pay 2000euros deposit, that's fine was my response, she then wouldn.t take my credit card as my name hade rubbed off the back of it, saying it may not be my card and the proceeding to ask for a bank statement or view of my banking app, I couldn't find my app but she reinforced the fact that if I took out the extra expensive insurance I could use my debit card.The last straw came when she said well you can take it or leave it as this is company policy.
This sort of disgusting behaviour is the last thing customers need after a long journey especially after lengthy delays.
I chose to leave the car and took an uber, booked a car from Auto Prudente the day after, they were brilliant.
Also like to say I have been renting cars abroad for 30 years, this is the worst company I have come cross

Great staff. Our plane was delayed by 8 hours and when I phoned the car rental office they were very reassuring. We finally picked up the car at midnight and the car rental desk had remained open for us, with a small charge. After a great holiday in Italy the drop off was very quick and friendly.

Staff at Milan T2 were friendly and accommodating, bring a car from T1 as I'd mistakenly hired from wrong terminal.

I'd hired an Octavia sized estate, and was given a slightly larger BYD hybrid, perfect for my needs.

Return was straightforward, though it would be helpful to have SBC return signs more prominent on entry to T2.

The policy is to return car full of fuel.

Car was okay, but they gave it without windscreen fluid and a rear windscreen wiper

Easy collection process, good quality car, but the return to Catania is chaotic. Absolutely no signs for Sicily By Car rental return, and when you eventually find the road in, it is wide enough for one vehicle despite being a two way road. By some distance the most difficult rental return point I have ever had to find. But once there, check in was easy.
