Excellent Customer care and service
I recently bought a product from Shopsta after never having dealt with them before. The product came really quickly and was exactly what I wanted, however it had a fault and after about 10 days I contacted their customer service to explain and the service and help I’ve received is absolutely fantastic, they were so quick to deal with my problem and they have replaced the product…. I will DEFINITELY use Shopsta again and I will absolutely recommend them… brilliant service!!!!
I ordered an office leather reclining…
I ordered an office leather reclining chair (white), the leather is so soft that it feels like it will tear when you seat. The reclining system doesn't recline well and the foot rest is half way because of that.
The chair stains even by your clothes that you are wearing.
Then I was informed by Shopsta that I will pay for the return and also loose the VAT of £28.50.
Indirectly, they are discouraging you from returning their 'Not Fit For Purpose' good.
The seat itself is so deep that my hip started to hurt me within 30 minutes of seating.
I would not recommend them to anyone.

Really great customer service
Really great customer service, discovered my order was defective, when i got in contact about it i found Megan in support extremely helpful with quick replies and new order dispatched within a day.

I recently ordered some lamps from Shopsta and was sent the wrong items by mistake (not Shopsta’s fault - a wrongly supplied batch problem). To cut a long story short, the issue was resolved very quickly and efficiently by Megan in customer support (and in an extremely professional manner). I have bought from Shopsta before so can vouch for the high quality of their products and would, therefore, highly recommend Shopsta - excellent products and exemplary service!

Online discount price not honoured
I bought some noise-cancelling headphones from Shopsta. They were discounted from $249 to $199 and, if I applied a voucher currently available (NY20) the price was further reduced to $159. However when I paid the price reverted to $199. A glitch, I thought, so I contacted Shopsta to arrange the $40 refund. But the customer service person, Megan, refused. She said they don't double-discount; I sent a screenshot showing the discount applied and the $149 total. She then replied and said the price I'd been shown was in US dollars and that if I had used a desktop not my phone there was an option to change currency on the screen... This didn't make any sense as there was no correlation between NZD and USD in the price and it seems ridiculous to expect someone not to use their phone to make purchases and besides that wasn't the point, the point was that the voucher discount had not been honoured. When I pointed this out she said:
'I've held the order as I wanted to hear back from you before we dispatch it.
This is the lowest price we can give. Do you want to cancel it or shall we dispatch it for you?'
So essentially held my order ransom and refused to honour the price I believed I was paying. I needed the headphones so I said send them. I told her that I was not satisfied the issue had been settled but no further response from Megan.
Headphones are ok but I won't use Shopsta again. The excuses given for the difference in price were ridiculous and I felt like Megan had just made them up to get rid of me. Not a nice experience.
Update 7 February 2025
I was contacted by Megan who said that her manager had authorised her to refund me NZD$40 if I would edit or delete my review. I replied and said it felt dishonest to do so. She replied and said that my review wasn't fully accurate but I've checked it and it is. That is what happened. Here is her latest email with her latest explanation as to what happened in case it is of help to anyone:
'We have several sites, one is shopsta.com which is in USD which is the screenshot you are sending. Hence the lower price. [I had sent a screenshot showing the extra $40 discount when the voucher was applied and this WAS on shopsta.com. I had used a link from a review of the headphones to get there.]
If you use shopsta.co.nz you will see prices in NZD. You checked out in NZD so received the correct price. The price in NZD was actually lower than the USD equivalent at the time.
We can still give you $40 NZD back as a gesture for you if you are willing to update the review. Otherwise, we will respond to your review on Trustpilot shortly.'
So... I'm going to leave it here. I have more important things to spend my time on.
Nope, going to add one more thing after reading Shopsta's response. The price I saw was $249.99 already discounted to $199.99. On the webpage the $249.99 was crossed out and the $199.99 written next to it. When I applied the NY20 voucher the price was further discounted to $159.99. I have a screenshot clearly showing this. I have shown Shopsta this screenshot, twice, and their only response to that is to say that I was on the US site which seems to have been the case. But it doesn't explain the double discount I saw and expected. Shopsta is saying I made a mistake when I didn't. Their website has a problem and they are implying that I am the one being unreasonable when I am only saying what actually happened. A pretty unpleasant experience from the beginning and now made worse because they have tried to bribe me to change my story (when I can't because what I said was accurate) and now they are pretty much calling me a liar. Very upsetting

Doesn’t feel like a original product
It doesn’t feel like an original product. Items is sent from and produced in China. I have doubts on the product being the original product I thought that I ordered.
Update: Dear Shopsta. Thank you for responding. I would like to receive proof of originality. I’m sorry, but when looking at the boxing of the product I still have doubts. It doesn’t look like an original product.

Excellent customer service
Delivery took longer than I expected and unfortunately item received was faulty. However, customer service was excellent, responding quickly and offering replacement, - when this would be outside my timescale I was refunded in full.

I ordered headphones and had a question about delivery which was responded to promptly. The same item was £30 cheaper on amazon and they were happy to price match and refund the difference quickly. Item arrived in great condition and my husband said the quality is brilliant.

First delivery company was a drama, but after contact with Megan from Shopsta.com, the delivery of the headphono's was lightningfast. The communication from Shopsta was extremly good and made me a very happy customer
