Rechargeable desk lamp, very useful for power cuts

I bought a desk lamp that charges from your computer. It's very versatile, having 3 different light levels, two arms and the body also rotates. It will be handy for power cuts and also during my peak electricity when I switch everything off. Really recommend this item.

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Ada for her fairness and kindness in solving my issue.
I will change my previous review because of her.
It’s clear that Ada is the one who has to face most of the difficult customer problems, yet she remains patient, polite, and understanding.

With such a wonderful and sincere personality, she deserves to work for a company that values and respects its employees and customers — not for Shopsta.

Excellent products and customer service

This company has a top class customer service team. I would have to give a special mention to Ada. I had an issue with my initial order. Ada sorted it out straight away. Because of this, I would be very happy to recommend this company and their products. Shopsta should be very proud of their products and customer service team. Well done everyone and thank you!

Thanks Ada for your service!

I saw a review about a headphone on another website that was linked to shopsta. Unfortunately it was not the headphone I wanted and it was to late to cancel. The person that emailed me, Ada, gave me clear information how to send it back. I didn't know the headphone came from China and because it cost me € 21,50 to send it back to Tjech Republic, I rate 4 stars instead of 5, but Ada was very friendly and helpfull. Replies were quick and most important, I have my money back. So thanks Ada for your service!

Proof That Customer Service Is Their Top Priority

These guys have obviously prioritized their customer service, because they went above and beyond to rectify an error that I made (not them!). I had ordered something and made my best guess about arrival date- I was wrong. Turns out that the item I ordered would not arrive at my friend’s house before I flew back home, and Hugh was on top of things as soon as he learned of my dilemma. The communication was extremely attentive which made it easy as pie to resolve the shipping location. Hugh is very proactive, which meant I didn’t have to keep pestering anyone for a solution. You’re in good hands by purchasing from these guys. Hands down A+++ experience!!!

Price Match

I paid over £90 some battery powered lights. On arrival they were obviously cheap Chinese items. Having checked Amazon I could have bought the same lights £65 cheaper. I contacted customer services Hugh agreed to price match Amazon and refunded the difference. Excellent service!

Initially disappointed but recovered with action.

Update: I was contacted by Megan who mentioned my initial review. She has resolved this to my satisfaction and some. An upgraded alternative has been provided as well as the refund. Rating upgraded.

Enquired as to lack of shipping status of 3D pen. Response was "Lost in transit". Refund made. Appeared to be being despatched from far east. Tracking numbers provided with order but no 'shipped' status achieved.
Won't risk this happening again.

Price of product double the standard price and misleading delivery

Your Shopsta Order: #UK236305

I feel ripped off and lied to. Therefore, I would like to return the item once it's been delivered please. I can buy the same headset for £42.39 from Amazon (can provide picture if needed) and I've managed to get it even cheaper on your own website for £79.19 (again, can provide picture if needed) You're shipping makes it seem that the product will be shipped from the UK. You do not mention the product is shipped internationally. If you supposedly ship most products from the UK (as you state on trustpilot), why wouldn't you say this in the first place?

Overall, I am extremely disappointed and feel I've been overcharged. I would like to take advantage of your returns policy. I noticed you have been willing to provide free returns postage to a UK warehouse, please can you do this for me.

Please note I am happy to review the rating and I would likely give 5 stars if I can return the product unopened, free of charge and receive a full refund.

Megan replied and offered to match the price on Amazon and keep the item or receive an immediate refund with a prepaid royal mail returns label. I opted for the immediate refund and prepaid label. I will update this review upon receipt of the refund.

So they did refund 99.99 on 11/05, but there is a second debit of 99.99 that is still pending from 11/05. I am ready to return the item but I refuse to do so until the second debit of 99.99 is cancelled. It seems to be that a temporary hold of 99.99, please ensure this hold is cancelled.

The refund has cleared and the pending debit of 99.99 has been removed. megan has been extremely helpful and the sole reason why I have moved the rating from 1 star to 3.

Excellent customer service

I recently reported a faulty rechargeable cordless lamp which had been faulty from the day it was delivered. The fault got worse over time and I began to be concerned that it might even be a fire hazard.
I wrote to customer service and I received a positive response from Megan Gray the next day. She outlined clearly what I had to do to demonstrate the fault. However, my technical skills didn't extend to providing a video of the way the lamp was behaving. With her encouragement I tried a number of different ways I might attach a short vid to Yahoo email. After a few emails exchanges in which Megan was extremely empathetic she finally made arrangements for a replacement lamp. I am extremely impressed with the manner in which my complaint was dealt with, not to mention the very satisfactory outcome.
