completely dishonest and untrustworthy.

“I returned this dress completely unworn and in perfect condition. The Shein falsely claimed it was damaged with red lipstick and sent me photos that were clearly not my dress. I don’t even own red lipstick. They deliberately scammed me out of half my money. Stay away from this — completely dishonest and untrustworthy.”

I placed my first order amazed at the…

I placed my first order amazed at the selection and pricing. However, the sizing process was very confusing. I ordered two of the same swimsuit because of that and two other items. All arrived safely...problem was getting the ones that were wrong size for me is another thing!! Cannot get hold of them by phone, robot is useless and I am left more than half of what I returned unrefunded! Do NOT order unless you are 100% sure of the sizing - and good luck with that!!

SHEIN IS 0 STARS AND THIS IS WHY - BEWARE!

Absolutely would give SHEIN 0 stars if I could.
So, story time! I thought I’d give shein ago, as I have Etsy, Vinted, EBay etc… I usually don’t trust sites like SHEIN. However, a friend said she had no trouble so I gave it a go.
I placed an order for 3 T-shirts. This is when I got my first of many RED FLAGS. All three t-shirts immediately - “didn’t exist anymore and neither did the sellers….? It’s like my money was taken and then they left! My orders were immediately cancelled by SHEIN. But I didn’t get a refund?… or offered one…
So I contacted CUSTOMER SERVICE, which I can only describe as the most dumb/ ignorant and stupid people to ever exist on planet earth… I asked for a refund, as the T-shirts didn’t exist anymore and they were never going to be shipped. As they were cancelled!

The idiot I got said they couldn’t issue me a refund as the items were GOING to be shipped… erm? That’s not how that works… they weren’t going to be shipped. They were canceled!
This person didn’t get it and kept repeating the same thing over and over like a robot, that I had to WAIT 3-5 DAYS to see if my order would ship… They repeated this so much so, I actually thought I was speaking to a robot and demanded to speak to a real human, only for them to finally stop repeating the same paragraph and sound human and say - you are speaking to a human, my name is so and so…
I asked them again for a refund, they refused, and said because the items are in the PROCESS of being shipped I can’t get one. I lost it! The items were in NO process and also cancelled. She wasn’t getting it or reading the same thing I was on my orders.
So, after screaming at this idiot for 30 minutes she left the chat, just left. Ignoring my refund request and the entire conversation!
So, a few days later I get three SHEIN text messages saying all three items are cancelled (DUH…) and aren’t in the process of shipping ( again no offer of a refund).

Only, weirdly enough- on my orders it stated differently than the texts. It said- cancelled, but shipped….WHAT?!….
So I reluctantly went back on the chat, told them what happened and now they said, because the items are now shipped you cannot get a refund at all. I honestly wanted to bang my head against a brick wall… SHE SAID - items are cancelled but shipped. Again, WHAT?.. I showed her my texts, emails and orders screenshots, demanded a refund yet again she refused and again this person left the chat after overly being nice, like sarcasm, and telling me, no…sorry, bye!
The items never came,OBVIOUSLY, AS THEY WERE CANCELLED. I sent all this to cooperate, the emails, texts, chat screenshots etc etc.
I got one email back saying my orders were shipped, but cancelled . How can a company be this stupid….
I honestly wanted to scream!
So, I gave up. Which isn’t like me, especially if I’ve lost money.
I wanted nothing more to do with SHEIN. So, I wanted to close my account. Protect myself. Easy right?
NOPE! I tried, but guess what, it wouldn’t let me because I had three items apparently still being shipped. I almost lobbed my iPad across the room!
So, in a rage, I went back to customer service - demanded they closed my account as they already stole from me! Refused to refund me and were utterly useless and fraudulent.

They REFUSED and said it was their RIGHT to store my account and personal information…. Excuse me!? So, I’ve had to keep my account active, but I’ve removed my address and payment details… I’m still in dispute with them over the money and also my account being open…. Scam, Fraud, GDPR Breach! PLEASE AVOID. You cannot make this crap up!

You would actually get more help from a robot or even a toddler than the people working for SHEIN, it’s like none of them went to school… they are so dumb and you will be scammed.
I get that some people have had positive experiences with SHEIN but I swear from my experience and others around me - like my aunt who was also scammed, it’s like SHEIN picks and chooses who they scam.
Please don’t use SHEIN. You will not get your money back! And they force you to keep your account open!
Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting.

Terrible company.

Terrible company.. I had my items missing contacted them and they said after verification they are no items missing. I am sure they never contacted the logistics. I have also provided proof of delivery with damaged delivery bag. I have also contacted the logistics company who said shein needs to contact them to raise a claim but shein has refused to do that. I am even worried right now because I have made a bulk order and I don’t know what is going to happen to the rest of my orders.

Scammers who don’t refund. Be warned if you order something on…

Be warned if you order something on SHEIN and have an issue 1) you are expected to pay for the return no matter what is wrong.
2) no matter how much you request your money back their customer service will just fob you off and say the warehouse needs to confirm its arrived even when if you’ve provided Valid proof it’s arrived through tracking and a photo. SHEIN IS A SCAM!!

UPDATE: replied to me with an automatic ‘customer concern’ yet no further communication this adds to the scam and illusion they take care of their customers. YOU WILL NOT RECIEVE A REFUND BE WARNED!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I have ordered several dresses, kept 6 and returned 3 however Shein decided to keep my money and the dresses.

Very poor customer service after item…

Very poor customer service after item did not arrived and reported as missing. Images taken of proof of delivery were outside of my house, not even in the front gates and were handed to a complete stranger. Took nearly a month to get any further with a complete refund and still did not recieve a refund

Terrible terrible customer service…

Terrible terrible customer service sadly. They keep blocking my account with an error message “your account has been suspended due to unusual/irregular activities” ??
I have consistently messaged to ask what this irregular activity is and they keep responding the same copy and paste generic message saying they cannot tell me. They advised I make a new account which I did and now they have blocked it too!!
I have been a loyal customer for over a decade and spent an awful lot of money on this website sadly
Really has ruined Shein for me I would not recommend at all

Disgusting I did not receive 2 pairs…

Disgusting I did not receive 2 pairs of shoes and an ankle bracelet, when I contacted customer support they said because it had been checked by the packers they cannot do anything about it out of pocket and no items, DO NOT BUY FRON SHEIN, disgusting. Experience

Shein has a very strong point: low prices and huge variety. It is ideal for those who want to follow trends, renew the wardrobe or buy accessories without spending too much. The application is easy to navigate, there are always coupons and promotions, and most of the time the delivery arrives on time, even coming from abroad.

But there are clear limitations: quality and size are inconsistent. The same size can fit well in one piece and be tight or wide in another; fabrics are usually lighter and less durable, suitable for casual or seasonal use, but not for pieces that last for years. Sometimes the item arrives different from the photo or with simple defects. Returns are possible, but the process is more time-consuming and support does not always respond quickly.

Overall: it's worth it for the cost-effectiveness, as long as you read the reviews and photos of other buyers well and don't expect high-quality materials. Perfect for everyday life and passenger fashions

I ordered swimwear

I ordered swimwear , when arrived hygiene pads was half off, was,nt suitable and returned in same condition.shein then said same as alot of customers are saying wouldnt give me full refund due to saying stained or hygiene pads not on .i feel the items are been defaulted to avoid refunds so now i have been left out of pocket with only points added to my account.i will not be ordering from this site in the future anyone thinking of ordering swimwear dont bother absolute rubbish 😡

I give up asking help!! Cherio SHEIN!!

Don’t expect an helpful response from this company. Thee posts explaining that the email link sent to me to return items did not allow activation. Same robotic response to all posts asking to check if I had received email in spam or otherwise. Watch this space, bet I get the same response again!!

Bad customer service

So I was a really good customer until they blamed me for staining a bikini of which I never tired on , the two they delivered swim suits with no sanity covers on them so I couldn’t even try them on and then refused to refund me when I sent them back , disgusting when I couldn’t even try them on , never ordering from SHEIN again would rather get the same things from Temu and get good customer service

I did question everything but because I didn’t take a picture of the non stained bikini ( why would I take a picture of a bikini that I sent back ) and I didn’t take a picture of the missing hygiene pads again why would I as as soon as I saw there wasn’t one I just pushed them back in the packet your customer service person said no refund at all and never thought they SHIEN was wrong and didn’t beleive me , terrible terrible customer service

Customer service is appalling

Customer service is appalling they use a rubbish delivery company who just leave parcels on the floor outside the front door and they count this as delivered. Getting past the chatbot is virtually impossible. Temu on the other hand reviewed delivery photo and refunded straight away. Unless you are home all day avoid like the plague.

Thinking of trying Shein, honest answers.

If your new to Shein like I was last week.
Fantastic choice, lovely designs, sizing bit of a mixed bag delivery quick and so far reliable kept informed all the way. But as I thought horrible fabrics, all polyester which is unwearable for me as just makes you sweat. I was hoping some pieces would be visvose but unfortunately all just plastic polyester.
Shame There were loads of pieces I liked at ridiculously low prices. But will not be ordering anymore.
