No communication
I ordered a few items from Shein, when I opened the parcel, some of the items were missing. I sent some items back and stated on the returns I had items missing. I kept chasing Shein up for their reply on this, nothing. I chased this issue up again with customer service and I just keep getting a reply saying 'you have exceeded your time limit'. What the hell?. I reported missing items immediately. Every time I reply to their generic repetitive 'exceeded time' I just get the same back again. If they are not understanding me due to the language barrier, don't sell to other countries. Shein owes me money!!!!

I was issued a refund for items not received only to find this company have now cancelled the refund and have told me to go and sort it out myself with the courier they employ to make these deliveries. Terrible service. Nobody knows what they are doing. Its the worst company ive come across in a very long time, i would highly unrecommend them

My review is about getting a refund back from SHEIN I have been waiting over 10 days and still not got my refund in my bank I have called my bank and they said it hasent been processed properly so it’s impossible to speak to anyone at SHEIN just a robot chat which all they do is send proof of refund but still haven’t got it

SHEIN quality control - removing hygiene stickers to avoid paying refunds
I ordered 4 bikinis all the same style in 2 different sizes, so 8 bikinis in total. Two arrived and I tried on the tops which were both too small. The other six arrived and I did not open them as I knew they would not fit and returned all six bikinis. I have had a refund for the two I tried on but the other six I have been refused as they say all of the hygiene stickers have been removed. They have provided photo evidence of three bikinis without stickers. As I didn’t open the bags they were in I have no idea whether they had stickers on them but they were sent back as received. I have asked for the bikinis to be returned if I cannot have a refund and SHEIN have refused. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THEY ARE REMOVING STICKERS AGFTER RETURNS TO AVOID PAYING REFUNDS.

I have used shein for a few years now. Reasonable prices on most items and I’ve also been reasonably happy with the returns process. Easy to place orders, my only complaint is the usual length of time it takes for delivery but then other orders have arrived within a week, and the returns options are sometimes a bit difficult to navigate on the app. Great for holiday T-shirts and dresses and at the prices they charge, disposable clothing after use! I have returned a few sub standard items but mostly kept. I’ve received compliments when wearing some of their footwear, so all in all a happy experience.

Terrible service, parcel not delivered even though it says it was, no proof and also talking to a bot . then got a live chat who said it will say refund but it doesnt it now says not eligible for a refund! shocking service and really gone downhill as a company you have not sent me an e mail I have nothng from you my order number is GSO17V44900MQ6Q

Missing items in big orders BE AWARE!
I would give 0 stars.I've ordered 23 items from them and received an incomplete package.when I raised my concern to customer service they kept replying with some bot type messages that don't resolve the issue.contacted PayPal but was surprised that the case was rejected in favor of Shein because they showed them the tracking number for my order but took no care in any details relating missing items in my order (parcel i received wouldn't fit 23 items at all).So avoid this company. Not trustworthy and disappointing.

I’d like to give zero stars. I purchased an item which I wasn’t happy with so I requested a refund. They gave me a code, which I took to the evri drop off point. The QR didn’t scan. He asked if there was a 6 digit so he could process it for me that way, but there was no code. So I contacted customer service and explained to them that I needed the 6 digit number so that evri could help me process my return. They sent me a new QR code. So I asked if I could also get the 6digits in case I have the same issues. Anyone would think I’d asked for their PIN to their back account. They would not give me the 6digits. They kept ending the chat. I spent an hour and a half chatting to 3 different agents. None of which was actually paying attention to what the problem was. Absolutely disgusting service. If there are any managers from SHEIN reading this I have 30 years of customer service I’ll come and train your team on what good customer service looks like, also teach them to actually pay attention and under what the customers issues are

AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Dangerous Design & Shocking Customer Service
I ordered two pairs of swimming trunks from SHEIN, and they are completely unfit for purpose. While the waist fits as expected, the leg openings are an absolute joke. The elastic is completely non-existent, leaving the legs so incredibly loose and baggy that it poses a genuine public decency hazard. If I actually wore these into a pool, absolutely nothing would be left to the imagination.
Thinking it was a straightforward manufacturing defect, I contacted customer service. What a complete waste of time. I provided clear photographic evidence showing the totally useless, loose elastic, and the response was appalling. They either don't read the messages or simply don't care about selling faulty, unwearable items. No help, no accountability, and zero actual service.
Save your money and your dignity—do not buy swimwear from here!

Not to be trusted
Not to be trusted, advertise products being delivered from UK warehouses in 3 business days. They lie and when items don't arrive will not help or refund saying it's 'being dispatched' and every tracking number they share shows the items haven't left their / suppliers warehouses. Not being honest, not willing to accept and support customers devalues these platforms.
Cheap yes but everything else is optional.

SHEIN refused to refund me for missing items
Bought some items on SHEIN, they delivered some and some were not delivered. Contacted their customer service team and they told me that they all the items have been delivered and refused to refund me even after I sent evidence of my parcel being tampered and going back and forth with them. They still refused to refund me back my money which was over £50 worth of items purchased. Very untrustworthy service. Do not recommend.

I placed my first order amazed at the selection and pricing. However, the sizing process was very confusing. I ordered two of the same swimsuit because of that and two other items. All arrived safely...problem was getting the ones that were wrong size for me is another thing!! Cannot get hold of them by phone, robot is useless and I am left more than half of what I returned unrefunded! Do NOT order unless you are 100% sure of the sizing - and good luck with that!!

So, story time! I thought I’d give shein ago, as I have Etsy, Vinted, EBay etc… I usually don’t trust sites like SHEIN. However, a friend said she had no trouble so I gave it a go.
I placed an order for 3 T-shirts. This is when I got my first of many RED FLAGS. All three t-shirts immediately - “didn’t exist anymore and neither did the sellers….? It’s like my money was taken and then they left! My orders were immediately cancelled by SHEIN. But I didn’t get a refund?… or offered one…
So I contacted CUSTOMER SERVICE, which I can only describe as the most dumb/ ignorant and stupid people to ever exist on planet earth… I asked for a refund, as the T-shirts didn’t exist anymore and they were never going to be shipped. As they were cancelled!
The idiot I got said they couldn’t issue me a refund as the items were GOING to be shipped… erm? That’s not how that works… they weren’t going to be shipped. They were canceled!
This person didn’t get it and kept repeating the same thing over and over like a robot, that I had to WAIT 3-5 DAYS to see if my order would ship… They repeated this so much so, I actually thought I was speaking to a robot and demanded to speak to a real human, only for them to finally stop repeating the same paragraph and sound human and say - you are speaking to a human, my name is so and so…
I asked them again for a refund, they refused, and said because the items are in the PROCESS of being shipped I can’t get one. I lost it! The items were in NO process and also cancelled. She wasn’t getting it or reading the same thing I was on my orders.
So, after screaming at this idiot for 30 minutes she left the chat, just left. Ignoring my refund request and the entire conversation!
So, a few days later I get three SHEIN text messages saying all three items are cancelled (DUH…) and aren’t in the process of shipping ( again no offer of a refund).
Only, weirdly enough- on my orders it stated differently than the texts. It said- cancelled, but shipped….WHAT?!….
So I reluctantly went back on the chat, told them what happened and now they said, because the items are now shipped you cannot get a refund at all. I honestly wanted to bang my head against a brick wall… SHE SAID - items are cancelled but shipped. Again, WHAT?.. I showed her my texts, emails and orders screenshots, demanded a refund yet again she refused and again this person left the chat after overly being nice, like sarcasm, and telling me, no…sorry, bye!
The items never came,OBVIOUSLY, AS THEY WERE CANCELLED. I sent all this to cooperate, the emails, texts, chat screenshots etc etc.
I got one email back saying my orders were shipped, but cancelled . How can a company be this stupid….
I honestly wanted to scream!
So, I gave up. Which isn’t like me, especially if I’ve lost money.
I wanted nothing more to do with SHEIN. So, I wanted to close my account. Protect myself. Easy right?
NOPE! I tried, but guess what, it wouldn’t let me because I had three items apparently still being shipped. I almost lobbed my iPad across the room!
So, in a rage, I went back to customer service - demanded they closed my account as they already stole from me! Refused to refund me and were utterly useless and fraudulent.
They REFUSED and said it was their RIGHT to store my account and personal information…. Excuse me!? So, I’ve had to keep my account active, but I’ve removed my address and payment details… I’m still in dispute with them over the money and also my account being open…. Scam, Fraud, GDPR Breach! PLEASE AVOID. You cannot make this crap up!
You would actually get more help from a robot or even a toddler than the people working for SHEIN, it’s like none of them went to school… they are so dumb and you will be scammed.
I get that some people have had positive experiences with SHEIN but I swear from my experience and others around me - like my aunt who was also scammed, it’s like SHEIN picks and chooses who they scam.
Please don’t use SHEIN. You will not get your money back! And they force you to keep your account open!
