Thought they'd be better
Seems fine, until your rate increases 3 months after you're there. It's not even the beginning of a fiscal calendar, it's disgusting and feels very dishonest
.
Willoughby, OH facility
I have been with them for years and have just rented a second unit. Tom is extremely helpful and went above and beyond helping me with the process. Always clean, accessible, and secure. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a unit in the area!
Best place to rent
Best place to rent. Especially close to home.
Wonderful manager Cathy has been so good to us.
Secure care 4809 N Beltline Rd
Secure care 4809 N. Belt Line Road Mesquite, Tx 75150. No electricity I called Oncor no active account for that address. Move in order for Monday. I paid $150.00 for a U-Haul and can’t see to get into unit. Now I know why they raised the rent to $163.00 from $136.00 for a 5x10 unit. My name Janet Evans
Terrible company
Terrible company! I rented a small 5x10 unit for what was suppose to be $40 a month. They automatically tacked on a $23 insurance fee that they didn't tell me about and after only 2 months raised the price to $85 a month. STAY AWAY!!!!
Under New Management
Under New Management! That made all the difference. Bradley is the new manager and he makes every aspect of the storage logistics process smooth. He appears stern, yet is professional and considerate of your needs to make things easier. The last person (Troy) I believe drummed up a bunch of fake reviews on himself. Keeping in mind that that ALL these storage places increase their rates, it’s the personal/human factor that makes the difference—how are you consistently treated by the facility(?). Additionally, the place is undergoing improvements. The absolutely great rates may not last after that. But for now, low rates plus great Norcross Manager may be a super trade-off for the shabby digs.
Five stars on service and rates.
Beware of price increase
Beware, they will raise your rates on you within the first three months. So, if you plan to rent longer term, know it will increase. Apparently, their rates are "introductory" and that's to hook you in, get your belongings stored, then up with the rate hike. I have been with them for 3 months and they raised rates 20%. I have no assurance that they won't continue to do this and will look for another storage facility. Other than that it's a good storage facility.
UNDERHANDED AND DISHONEST
I have been in my unit for less than 3 months, and they just raised my rent by $59!!! They lure you in with a come-on rate, and once you are moved in they raise your rates. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
Secure Self Storage, El Paso TX
I have storage in El paso, TX at the Will Ruth location since 2019 and Kim is ALWAYS AWESOME. This place is the best place I've had a storage unit. Kim always makes me feel welcome, even over the phone and is always polite and very very sweet, everyone includingmyslef have some hard times and they always work with you and I've never had a storage facility work with me like that. If your in El Paso and need a storage unit for any size, this place is my #1 recommendation. THIS PLACE IS TRULY AWESOME 10000%!
Tricia is AWESOME!
DO NOT GO TO SECURECARE SELF STORAGE!!!
My name is Rose Rhodes and I have had a storage unit G-14 at the Securecare Self Storage at 7428 Davidson Cir. Stockbridge Ga 30281 for
over 3 years. I recently had problems with someone hacking into my bank accounts and in turn it sent back some of my payments to my storage unit
when I filed disputes with my bank for the fraud on my accounts. I called them to explain what had happened and to see if I can just pay whatever was
sent back and keep my unit I spoke with the property manager named Alexis and she refused to try and work anything out with me, was rude and very
unhelpful telling me I must pay to vacate my unit. I told her ok and asked her how long I had to do this she told me 1 month i said I will be in at the end
of March beginning of April to pay and get my things. I came in on 4/4/24 to make a payment of $1,275.00 to be able to get my things Alexis was not in
this day ( I cant lie I was happy she was not because anytime I called there or tried to get a problem resolved she had been extremely rude and unhelpful)
anyways I dealt with a pleasant woman named Diane who assured me that as long as I got my things from the unit by Monday 4/8/24 that everything
should be fine I explained to her that work a lot and may have to come on Sunday when I was off and she assured me that was fine she even went as
Aa far as to get me a temporary gate code to access the property on Sunday. (All of this on a recorded line mite I add) So on 4/6/.24 my mother and
gentleman whom she hired with a truck went to the location to get the items from my unit G-14. She was rudely met by Alexis who told her that our things
are no longer on the property and that my unit was cleaned out that morning because I only had 48 hours to get my things out and I didn't pay them $100
( which I most certainly did and have a receipt to prove) my mother got very upset and was crying she called me to have me speak with Alexis who was once
again rude and just mean she seemed to even be enjoying the fact that she had made my elderly mother cry because our family heirlooms were in the
storage unit along with things we can not replace from my brother and son who had recently passed away. I explained to her that Diane had told me that
I had until Monday morning to empty out my unit and had even given me a temporary gate code to come on Sunday and get my things, she basically
told me I was lying and that I only had 48 hours and to bad my stuff was gone and she couldn't do anything she also made my elderly mother leave
visibly upset about the situation. And forced her to leave the property. Which she did. I called the customer service number and told them about the
situation and they did nothing they created a ticket #NBSD-86226 and told me that Alexis's boss would be calling me shortly. They never called. I need
my things that I paid $1,275.00 to get period I am not going to lose my mothers important heirlooms and my things left by my son a deceased brother
because Alexis is a horrible person. First off why would I have been given a temporary gate code to access the property afterhours if I was told I had to
get my things within 48 hours (again calls are recorded so all of this is on record) also what happened to the $100 I supposedly did not pay but have
a receipt for?? Also why was the unit cleaned out the morning of 4/6/24 if that was not even 48 hours later in the first place (even if I was told 48
hours which I was NOT) it would have been by 5 pm on 4/6/24 I should have gotten my things out by but my mother was there to empty the unit at
2pm on 4/6/24 and told that my things were no longer on the property and she cant get them even if I offered to pay the $100 which I already paid
again. I also know that this storage location holds auctions to auction off the belongings in peoples units when they don't pay, they don't remove
the belongings from the unit and ship the items from the facility as I was so rudely lied to about by Alexis on the phone when I was just trying to
work something out so that my mother could get the items we had paid to get and be on our way. I am not going to let this go I want my things period.
DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS STORAGE LOCATION!!! User's recommendation: DO NOT GO TO SECURECARE STORAGE
ON DAVIDSON DR STOCKBRIDGE.
2976 North Expy
2976 North Expy, Griffin Ga.
Checked in today 03/21/24 to rent a unit. Both the property manager Tammy Hayes and her Assistant - Kennetha acted in a professional manner and were outstanding. They were both very helpful and the treatment received was nothing short of respect. The unit was very clean and very spacious as expected. Will recommend it to anyone without hesitation.
Perry in Monument
Perry in Monument, Colorado is simply the best. Friendly and helpful, he always gets it done. I had to change credit cards and had difficulty online, so he patiently walked me through the process in the office. Vincent - Unit #5..

Maizeland unit in Colorado Springs
We recently had a 4 inch snow in Colorado Springs, and they decided to push all of the snow directly in front of my unit... I cannot access it to get my vehicle in or out, nor put anything in storage! I wouldn't complain, but every 6 months they raise the rent by 30-50 dollars... I've been here for 2 and a half years, and rent has been raised 140 dollars in that time!! I will be looking for another storage facility, and suggest you should too!!! I would download pictures, but site doesn't allow!!!
Lock price
This company need a lock in price for those whom have invested years of rental with them. Just think $200 a month times 12 is $2400 × 4 years 9600 at this price you would think a business would throw some kind of offer to an valuable customer.
Mel is so polite and extremely helpful in making my life less stressful
Mel is so kind and thoughtful. She helped me and my granddaughters today and I am forever grateful to her big heart.
It seems to be a common practice for…
It seems to be a common practice for storage companies to raise the rent without explanation. It's a hassle to move out over a few dollars, so they get away with it. I retired from a profession that requires honesty and truthfulness, so to me it's disappointing when a business (the management) profits from smarmy practices. Typical unprincipled landlord mindset. They don't care what is thought of them nor appreciate their tenants. Yes, they have legal and tax problems and regulations but that doesn't justify the lack of transparency. They could at least offer some valid reason for rent increase for the sake of understanding by the tenants. Otherwise, may they some day find greater meaning and purpose for their lives as human beings.
SecureCare Storage has Rats and Don't care about Pest Control
SecureCare Storage took over my old storage in 2022 and the rate started increasing and then I discovered that there were rodents in my unit. When I discovered the rodents, I moved out of the facility. I spoke on a couple occasions to the Management and the manager told me that she was aware of the issue and that she had sent many emails to corporate, and tried to get them to do something but they would not. DO NOT rent a storage from them. I am in the process of looking for an Attorney to sue them. I asked the Manager to have someone from corporate to call me because she kept saying that it was not her that it was corporate. Then I moved out, walked through with Manager and signed a release for the damaged items that she wanted to show corporate. Then they started sending me lien letters and had the nerve to run my name in the paper for auction. I had NOTHING in the storage unit. I went to see the Manager and again, she said it was corporate and that there was nothing she could do because I did not owe anything and had signed the release. RATS -RATS -RATS UGH
