Well after moving from berghaus as a walking boot brand (discontinued the model i liked) i decided to try the scarpa brand of walking boot and the terra gtx 2 boot model , That was my first mistake second mistake was to expect these boots to last? they didnt. 2 months all the leather accross the toes split causing constant water ingress through the weakend leather, 3rd mistake was to actually buy the brand from go outdoors all i can say is never again. Sent them back to go outdoors they said they were faulty 6 months later i had finished getting my money back from the bank as go outdoors lied about ever recieving them? Anyway i digress, very poor quality boot the leather not up to much and at £165 they arnt the cheapest either. Now dealing with a company with a great product and very happy to see my money going to a company that actually cares about quality.
I still have the boot pictures if anyone from scarpa wants to comunicate with me! I would give 0 stars if i could by the way.

bought a pair of Scarpa Trek GTX. as was advised by Cotswolds outdoor, they had a good reputation. Also prior to buying these I had an old pair of Scarpa Sykwalk boots (bought in the 80"s) that where absolutely bullet proof, but where a bit on the heavy side,great when your're 20 years old, and have iron calves!!
As they where still under warranty returned to Scarpa, who did repair them..Great...Now however the rubber weld that joins the sole to the upper has started to come away. Tyey are now out of warranty, so would have to pay to send them back to Scarpa and pay for the repair.
For a £180 boot I would expect much more longevity. Not happy. Won't be buying another pair of Scarpa.

I've had my original leather scarpa SL boots (size 8) for over 6 years now. They have taken me up over half the wainwright's in the lakes and the biggest mountains in Scotland and Wales. These boots are absolutely faultless! Granted they were originally quite stiff but now fit like slippers. They have good battle scars on the leather but are still 100% waterproof, the sole still has superb tread and look like they could easily go another 6 years. If you look after these boots after every walk they will look after you!
Now saving up for the newer SL and will be passing my old SL's to my son.
I will never walk in another brand.

my scapra walking shoes are ready for the bin after 10 months. the quality of their products has went downhill. Will be buying a different brand from now on.

Purchased Scarpa Terra GTX boot after researching (obv. not enough) & trying to actually find a pair online! I am quite disappointed in them, they feel cheap, I can feel uneven ground/stones underfoot, the leather is quite thin, they just do not feel sturdy. Great for room in the toe area, they do appear on the big side & after wearing them twice I would say they are too big (bought size 4 - I wear 4.5) but of course once worn you cannot change them! I am not convinced either at their waterproof ability as my socks were a little wet in places, but will test this again at weekend. After Meindl and Brasher boots, these feel like the poor relation but unfortunately budget played a part in this purchase. Not sure I will return to Scarpa. Maybe I will grow to love them but I wish I had saved more and tried the more expensive boot.

I bought my second pair of Scarpa Go Up walking boots about 18 months ago. The first pair wore down in the treads quickly but I assumed that it was due to wearing them for digging in the garden too much. And they leaked. Well sadly the 2nd pair weren’t used in the garden, just walking. Unfortunately the treads again nearly wore flat in places and they again leaked( holes in the sole this time). I definitely don’t think they are worth buying ! I had a pair of excellent Scarpa boots when I was 13( long time ago now) and they really did last for years... lots of walking too.

Scarpa are one of the most comfortable walking boots I've ever owned, my first pair (bought during first lockdown) were so comfortable I walked 10 miles straightaway! Sadly they don't last. My first pair lasted a year before the heels wore right down and let in water. I've had my second pair since March and the heels are already very worn. Not what you expect when Millets are asking £160! A real shame, also a real shame Hotter no longer sell mens walking boots, they lasted for 4 years+

Still too tight on the toes after years breaking in.so no I won’t be buying another pair which is a shame as they’re still intact unlike other so called high end brands..an assistant in a shop said a lot if his customers complained about scarpa being too tight ...scarpa don’t seem interested though it seems..

A really comfy walking shoe, but leaking between sole and upper in several places after less than a year's use. (I lost the receipts, but remember buying them during the first lockdown when shops were allowed to open.) I looked after them, using wax to feed the leather. Won't be buying this expensive Scapa shoe again, sadly.

I had a problem with the seam from a pair of Scarpa Moraine walking shoes. They were not bought directly from Scarpa, but from a high street shop. Despite that, the team at Scarpa still accepted them back to look at the damage and suggest a solution. The solution was to replace with the current alternative (Moraine is not currently available). They sent multiple sizes for me to try and return the unneeded ones.

I was truly impressed by everyone on the Scarpa team that I was in contact with, particularly Jamie and David. They’ve created a loyal customer from me and their customer service has been second to none.

Purchased a pair of Scarpa Trek HV GTX Gor-Tex boots at the end of November 2020. First impressions were good including a very comfortable fit, but by the end of June 2021 the boots were letting the water in. I have only ever used these boots to walk my dog in the local park. Absolute-Snow were contacted, and the boots were forwarded to the Scarpa dealer. After waiting for more than a month I was told that no fault had been found with the boots, and they were returning the boots… I’m now in the process of contacting consumer rights, but if nothing can be done I will be left with a faulty pair of very expensive boots.
Scarpa have not tested the boots despite what they allege for the simple reason that they don’t have any intention of honouring their Warranty.
Buy at your own risk!… The boots are also “Made in Romania” so draw your own conclusions, don’t be fooled by the publicity gimmick of the picture in their website of the old Italian Men, with many years of experience, seating together, and sawing the Boots by hand, nothing could be further from the truth…

Purchased Mid Cyrus in late October, by June with minimal use the soles are bare. Customer Service state these are not be used on tarmacked road or footpaths, no mention of this in any of their paperwork. £150 for walking boots, that do not even last a year. I shall return to Brasher as previous boots lasted 15years. I so wished I had read trust pilot reviews, and saved my money. Shocking service!!!

I bought a pair of Terra GTX boots a few years ago and found them very comfortable from day one. Unfortunately after a number of years the right boot started to leak. When I contacted Scarpa they were extremely helpful and courteous and asked me to return the boots for test after they confirmed the boots leaked they dispatched a new pair to me. Absolutely wonderful service and thanks to Adam and Dave at Scarpa.

Myself and my partner have had a really good experience with this brand. My walking boots are extremely comfortable and well made, they have lasted the winter absolutely fine and I wear them across all terrains. My partner's pair sadly had an issue with the stitching, we contacted scarpa direct and they were incredibly helpful and sent a pre paid label to see how they could help. I only wanted them mended but they sent a brand new pair back. You couldn't ask for a better service and I have just put another order in for a casual pair of shoes for my partner.

Don't even bother buying this brand. The worst brand you will ever face. You know warranty is the most important part of outdoor sports. I had a climbing shoes. I only used 4 hours and they are all broken. They don't cover under warranty. Worst brand, worst quality I ever dealt with.

Bought CyrusMid GTX boots.Very unimpressed. Previous Brasher light boots lasted 10 years. Scarpa with not excessive use over a year already leak and the stitching across the widest part of the boot has broken down completely. Not fit for purpose and very disappointed in product

I was advised to buy a larger size of Scarpa Cyrus GTX women's boots and they are comfortable with two pairs of wool walking socks, so only wearable in winter, no use in warm weather. I've had them for 3 years but therefore 1 1/2 year's wear so far.
My main issue is that the soles don't grip and they slip easily, on all kinds of surfaces, unlike my old boots that had lasted for 15 years and gripped really well. I imagine it's about the materials used for the sole

I have had my scarpa boots for around 3 years and they are the most comfy boot I have owned. I have the ranger GTX at around £160. About a year after buying them the sole started squeaking on one foot where it had ruptured. For the last year I have suffered from one wet foot where the lining has gone either through the sole or the crease in leather by the toe. So disappointed, these weren’t cheap and expected them to last longer. Torn between buying a replacement pair the same or going with something different after reading all these reviews.

Absolutely love these boots as they are like slippers but I’m buying a new pair every year as the soles break down and leak. When I’m spending over £100 for a pair I would like them to last. I walk my dog about 4 miles a day on average.
