Doesn't let to invest without SEPA
I didn't even started investing, but onboarding was not easy. For some reason my documents were declined, I got the message stating that and after submitting complain, I shortly got an email, that documents are approved without my complain even being processed. So I guess it was some issue. Not blaming anyone, but from the broker (as well as from the bank) you expect precision everywhere, because we are talking about big money, customer should fully trust the app. The second thing that made me really sad that you can set up everything only through SEPA direct debit. I called my bank (in another EU country), they confirmed that they comply with SEPA, I transfered the initial amount to scalabale capital and it activated my current account. But when SC tried to withdraw money from my bank, they couldn't do it. As I understand SEPA direct debit works only with Germany and maybe Benelux, but doesn't work with other European banks. The whole point of me having SC is to invest while I'm living in Germany and move broker account without selling stocks when I'll go back to my country, it's the only reason why I registered in SC. Now I'm not sure what to do, because even if I'll manage to put the money to broker's account, I won't be able to withdraw them just because of SEPA issue. Would be much easier if SC would just use my bank card and not SEPA and would "charge" monthly as any other provider (Netflix, Spotify, etc). Anyway, now thinking should I delete the account or there is any other solution?

My experience with their support has…
My experience with their support has been really bad.
I contacted them 3 weeks ago regarding a matter and was detected to the chat bot, I was later able to email them, and I am still waiting for a response.
To me this is absolutely unacceptable, why would I trust a bank or broker with my securities and money if they won't even provide support? I am seriously considering moving all my securities to another broker if their support continues being this non existent.

Broker is misguiding
in the broker, when we deposit amount it shows as profit and green colour even though overall broker portfolio is in loss.

Three months of silence on their own says they owe
I signed up through the FinanzflussBonus promotion and met every single qualifying condition. The bonus never arrived. What followed has been three months of the most brazenly evasive handling I have ever experienced from a regulated financial institution.
April 2026: I contacted support. Their answer? Go ask Finanzfluss.
This is where it becomes insulting. I read Scalable Capital’s own Teilnahmebedingungen — the terms they wrote, published, and are bound by:
• Section 4 (Ausschüttung der Prämie) states the bonus is automatically credited (automatisch ausgezahlt) to the Verrechnungskonto by Scalable Capital.
• Section 8 (Datenschutz) states that Scalable Capital processes personal data for the Durchführung und Abwicklung of this specific promotion.
Finanzfluss supplied a partner link. That is the entirety of their involvement. They cannot see my trade history. They cannot see my account status. They have no authority whatsoever to move money into my Verrechnungskonto — an account Scalable Capital itself operates. Redirecting me to them wasn’t an honest mistake. It was a deflection, and Scalable Capital’s own contract exposes it as nonsense.
I sent them exactly this, quoted their own terms back to them, and asked for a proper review.
Since then: nothing. Not one substantive word. Every month, without fail, the identical copy-pasted email arrives:
“We would like to inform you that our specialist department is still working on resolving your request. We understand how important this matter is to you, and we are doing everything we can to find a solution as quickly as possible.”
They do not understand how important it is. If they did, three months would not have passed. This is not a specialist department working toward a solution — it is an automated holding pattern designed to run out the clock until the customer gives up. It is now July. Three months, three identical emails, zero actual human beings.
Ask yourself what this tells you as a prospective customer. A company that will not honour a bonus defined in plain language in its own written terms — a payment it is contractually obliged to make automatically — is telling you precisely how it will behave when something bigger goes wrong. If they stonewall over a marketing promotion, what exactly do you think happens when there is a real problem with a real position?
I hold a substantial portfolio with Scalable Capital. Not for much longer. The moment this matter is closed, every euro moves to another broker and this account gets deleted. I will not leave serious money with a company that treats its own contractual obligations as optional and its customers as an inbox to be managed rather than people to be answered.
Avoid.

The Onboarding experience was very bad as it took nearly 3-4 weeks in total. Document verification process is very very slow, and if you contact them you get reply in weeks.

Proof of Address process spoils signup
So far the only problem I had was the nightmarish signup process as an expat, which gave me a taste of Scalable Capital's customer service. Going through the identification process is one thing (still, less smooth than for locals) but the real challenge begins once you are asked to go through the 'Proof of address' process. This only affects expats who don't have citizenship and as a result no local ID in the country where they signed up for Scalable Capital.. for me the process involved uploading three different documents and the waiting time between each upload took multiple days. As a result, my onboarding process took 11 days. After this, getting started with my account and migrating my assets was a surprisingly smooth experience.

Excellent onboarding
Easy onboarding by showing I'd card at post office. Easy to purchase etfs and stocks in euros.

A good broker with a good offer and just some minor streamlining issues
The onboarding process is streamlined and works well. There was just an issue with what document is needed as proof of address. The application is fine except that it is a bit confusing what account you need to receive the steady interest. The interest rate is the best in its category.

Disappointing decline in customer service
I have been a Scalable Capital customer for several years. One of the main reasons I chose the platform was the quality of its customer service, as I could easily reach a support representative whenever I needed assistance.
Recently, I contacted customer support to resolve an issue and was directed to the AI chatbot. In my case, the chatbot was unable to resolve my problem. Instead, it generated a suggested email for me to send to customer support, so I still had to contact them by email to seek assistance.
Compared with my earlier experiences, I found the support process much less helpful. When dealing with investments, I value being able to speak with a person when an issue cannot be resolved automatically. Based on this experience, I no longer have the same confidence in the level of customer support that originally led me to choose Scalable Capital.

No response, no support — time to move on
Requested a financial status through the app — it never arrived. Retried a few times and got locked out with a "daily limit of requests reached" error, so now I can't even try again.
On top of that, reaching a real human was unnecessarily hard. The in-app chatbot kept blocking me from getting to customer service, and only let me through after I explicitly said it was urgent. For a financial provider, this is not acceptable. One star.
To make matters worse, customer service never replied. The lesson I learned today: move away from Scalable Capital quickly — because what if this had been a serious matter that needed immediate customer support?

It is very good, but could not find some info in the application
All is good so far. I like using as well as the application on Android and the browser version. I could easily find documents for Steuererklärung, that's nice. What I could not find in the application, is that information about average price of purchase of some stocks. I guess it is called Durchschnittlicher Kaufpreis auf Deutsch. I would like to have it, if it not yet available. For example I buy stocks at different prices today at 100 euro, tomorrow 50, then after some time at 70. So I would like to have an average price of all these purchases. Thanks.

Customer Support doesn't exist
Customer Support doesn't exist. Just an AI chat that does absolutely nothing. I fully stopped trusting this platform after realizing I put my money where there's nobody to help in case of problem. I'll move away as soon as possible.

No customer service
Until everything is going well it’s good but I have to point out that there is absolutely no customer support as such. Telephone line is useless it loops through and says we have limited capacity. Chat function is ChatGPT not connected to any system which can give actual information. They also do not answer email. So think about the future issues and avoid this broker because if you have a problem you hit the wall.

Onboarding & Cash Transaction Detail
The onboarding took over a month although I had the documents submitted.
Once I was online I could see that the incoming cash transactions would not show the sender or the sender's account number or bank. I think this is very poor for the real time transactions and should be standard (it is in all the competing online banks).
