The food was fantastic. Meat was tender, moist and well flavoured. The chilli sauce was amazing- highly spiced and just right as an accompaniment. Overall highly recommended.

Safar is a Persian-inspired street food business based in Hertfordshire, built around simple food, bold flavours and cooking over charcoal. Our menu centres around joojeh chicken and koobideh kebabs, served in warm pitta or with rice, alongside house-made accompaniments including ezme and our lemon & dill yoghurt. Safar was created from a love of cooking and the food and flavours I grew up around in an Iranian household. The idea is simple: take those influences and turn them into approachable street food, cooked fresh and served without overcomplicating it. We're currently growing Safar through pop-ups, events and catering across Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.
