Sturdy and well made hedgehog boxes.
Bought one to replace a dressing station that was rotting and it was perfect, so I ordered another ☺️

Delivery was very quick and the product itself is of outstanding quality.

The whole experience was good. I was emailed promptly at each stage.
The hedgehog house is very solidly built and is already occupied.

Hedgehog Houses are exceptionally well made, ideal for nursing hedgehogs and also for disabled hedgehogs. An ideal gift for anyone to give to someone who loves hedgehogs and wants to help our endangered hedgehogs.

Lovely high quality product. Sturdy. Recommended by a hedgehog rescuer. Item came fully made and in a large box, ready to pop in chosen location. Has a firm weatherproof roof and easy to open but also lockable roof. Only issue to raise is that when I ordered I received an email with an estimated dispatch time of ten days, but as it was hand-built it was probably double this time, but there were regular updates about where my order was in the system. You do get what you pay for and I'm glad companies like this are online, who sells decent quality items that are made to last.

An absolute terrific high end bird table, the only slight niggle was the lead-in time for delivery was a little longer than anticipated and DHL's delays on delivery but that was outwith Riverside's control. If you can allow yourself a good couple to 3 weeks from order to delivery, do not hesitate. As I said a fabulous quality bird table and would definitely recommend. Thanks folks.

The hedgehog houses are extremely well built, use quality materials and are of a high standard. We now have 3 houses in our garden and each has hogs living in them.

I bought the Riverside Woodcraft Chatsworth Slate Roof Bird for £300.

I am reporting them to Trading Standards. It is described as having a slate roof - it does not! It is plastic!! Notwithstanding, the entire thing is an appalling pile of poor-quality junk!

I have taken many photographs of how it arrived and will be providing them to Trading Standards as evidence.

It arrived in many, many bits. I understood that some assembly would be required, but so much? For £300, this should have been fully constructed/made up already.

Nevertheless, the stand was broken, the roof slats were broken, screws were not fully fitting and were standing proud or bent, the feet of the stand were broken, the list goes on...

It is certainly not as described. The website gives the impression that they make them (there is a video of them putting one together). This is misleading. In my opinion, they receive them in kit form, and all they have to do is have to put them together, which they do very, very poorly.

Do not use them they are a con!

I ordered a bird table from Riverside woodcraft what arrived was a master piece the quality of the work was amazing. The beauty of the table stands well in my garden. The quality and workmanship is unbelievable. I am totally happy with my bird table and so too are the birds that are feeding from it. A master piece in the centre of my garden

They are efficient and have a fabulous product. I was kept up to date on the progress of the handmade hedgehog house and delivered promptly.
I can’t praise them enough.

We’ll constructed hedgehog home with a very good water proof top; which I hope is used by one of the local hogs this Winter.
