Excellent service from Rightgas
Rightgas responded immediately to a boiler problem that we experienced on New Years Eve. An engineer visited on New Years Day and diagnosed the problem. The boiler could not be repaired (23 years old) and within a few days all arrangements were in place for the installation of a new boiler. Emma’s help and guidance was very much appreciated.
The new boiler was installed by Mark, who was one of the most hard-working, knowledgeable and efficient workers we have ever had in 50 years. Our previous installation meant that the new installation gave more challenges than expected, but we were kept fully aware of any issues and progress. We are delighted with the service that we received.

Her kind calming attitude was just what was needed to help work through the options and this high quality service continued with the man who came to fit the boiler who was quick, clean and went above and beyond our expectations to ensure we had everything that we needed. Unacceptable service - 6 days without heating in winter
The service from Rightgas has been appalling. My family and I were left without heating for six days during winter because of poor logistics and a total lack of urgency. After being told a part was unavailable, we found out on the scheduled installation day - only after my wife called them - that they still didn't have it.
It turns out the part was available via another vendor with 24-hour delivery all along, yet Rightgas made no effort to source it sooner. They showed zero care for our situation and offered no solutions. Truly shameful service.

I recently had a boiler service and a blockage issue with one of my radiators resolved by Right Gas. The engineer, Steve, arrived on time, treated my property with respect, and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I was very impressed with his professionalism and efficiency. The repair cost was reasonable, and the overall service was excellent. I would highly recommend Right Gas for all plumbing services. Thank you for a fantastic experience.
Excellent engineers AGAIN - Chris G & Luca
I had an initial power flush in April this year, which solved my patchy/low heat radiators problem just in time for it to go into the dormant summer/autumn period.
Unfortunately, when I turned it back on to test it in October ahead of winter, I discovered that I had minimal to no heat in the radiators once again.
An initial engineer visit in October assessed the description of the situation as sludge in the system still.
However, I subsequently and unexpectedly got a very welcome call from the lovely Emma who arranged for Chris Goddard (the original power flush engineer) to come back to see me as part of my invoiced April power flush.
Chris visited with Luca and immediately confirmed his suspicions that the original power flush HAD done its job, and that the fault lay in the pump and also a separate valve within the system.
Words cannot express how grateful I am to Emma for initially following up and then to Chris and Luca who efficiently diagnosed and fixed the problem.
Thank you Right Gas for employing such wonderful, friendly and competent people.

What an incredible service . My problem was resolved in under 24 hours with clear timely communication from the office and the competent friendly helpful service of our engineer Adam . My father who is 102 has had his hot water and heating restored in record time much to all of our relief . We can’t thank you enough
Rightgas saved the day
On Tuesday 25 November, we noticed that our heating was not working so we rang Domestic and General to ask for visit by a technician. We explained that the household comprised my wife (81 years old) and myself (83). I also mentioned that my wife has a heart condition.
They booked what they said was the earliest available appointment, on Friday 28 November. We then spent a very cold, uncomfortable night.
On Wednesday 26 November, I became extremely concerned about my wife's health, in particular the danger of hypothermia.
I phoned Domestic and General again, explained my problem, particularly in regard to hypothermia, and asked if they could advance our Friday appointment.
They couldn't but they gave me Rightgas's number and told me to phone them. I did so at what was now 16.30hrs.
I explained my problem to a very pleasant call handler who's first words were to apologise that he could not get anyone to me the same day! I did not expect a same day callout.
However, they found me a slot for today, between 08.00hrs and 13.00hrs. I received a call from Rightgas at 09.30 this morning to say that their technician would be with us within 45 minutes. He was.
He worked on the boiler then examined every radiator that we have to ensure that they were all functioning properly.
Finally, when he was happy that all was well, he left us with a fully functioning heating system and very happy.

Chris worked very hard , there was small leak outside which was also dealt with promptly.

Chris Engineer and Charlie Apprentice I cannot commend highly enough, they were extremely thorough tidy and very courteous, they answered every question I posed.
Unbelievably during the end of new boiler install my external water pressure to my house was lowered and it seemed there maybe an issue with my system affecting the new boiler, Chris and Charlie checked boiler over and over again trying to diagnose why boiler wasn’t behaving in the manner that should, and spent many more hours than usually would be required due to the system showing low pressure, I found out late that night the external water pressure had been lowered and that was the reason for the problem not the new boiler, Chris had been with me since 9am and didn’t leave till 7pm an extremely long day, Chris and Charlie’s patience needs commending, I don’t write many reviews but in this case felt I should due to how extremely good they were, I highly recommend RightGas services especially Chris and Charlie … OUTSTANDING 5*
