This is the second time I am writing regarding my claim with RentalCover.co. I re‑uploaded all required documents on 4 July 2026 that I have submitted before, yet I have received no response since then. No updates from email, no replies through the system, and there is no telephone number available to contact your team directly.
This claim has already been ongoing for more than two months, and the lack of communication is unacceptable. I expect a proper reply by next week.

Got scammed by the car hire company (OK Mobility in Rhodes).
They made scratches on the car when we were waiting at the car return with our back to the car, and charged us 660 euro for the damage. RentalCover covered the full amount. Very happy with them.

Very happy with rental cover! The paperwork and process were straightforward and the claim was promptly settled. I agree with other customers that Car Italy Rental co. seems they are running a scam. Claiming excess for pre-existing scratches. I support also other customers indicating that Insurers need to stop it.

It's easy to claim
It's easy to claim, as long as you submit all the required documents and supporting evidence. As long as it wasn't caused by dangerous or reckless driving, I believe there's about a 90% chance the claim will be approved, and the process is quite efficient.

DON'T buy insurance from rentalcover.com
tried to file an auto accident claim. Got insurance through Priceline.com. Couldn't file a claim because the confirmation email won't go through. No option to try another email address, no phone number to get help. Rentalcover.com emailed me that they'd help me file the claim but that was TWELVE DAYS AGO! Still haven't heard from them!

I would strongly recommend Rentalcover.com.
We had a damaged wheel rim when we rented a car in Portugal. We had no idea there was any damage to the car until we received the demand for repair. We paid and it took one day to put a claim in and receive full reimbursement from our insurance. We were so happy we got the coverage. It was a surprise to hear of the damage but we didn’t have to shoulder any of the $300.

I cannot recommend RentalCover based on my personal experience.
I purchased RentalCover insurance after being directed to it during my car rental process. Unfortunately, when I later submitted a claim, it was declined because the policy had been purchased after the vehicle pickup date.
I understand that this restriction is included in the terms and conditions. However, as a customer, I genuinely believed I was purchasing valid protection for my rental. The website allowed me to buy the policy, and I was not aware that it would not cover my rental due to the pickup date.
What disappointed me most was the communication. After submitting additional information, a goodwill request, and a formal appeal, my last emails received no acknowledgement or response. Even after requesting confirmation that my appeal had been received, I did not receive any reply.
This review reflects my personal experience. My advice to anyone considering RentalCover is to carefully read the coverage terms before purchasing and make sure the protection is bought before collecting the rental vehicle.

Very happy with RentalCover. I had the misfortune of having a bump in a car park whilst in Iceland. Thanks to RentalCover for not letting this spoil my holiday.
