This service is a scam

This service is a scam. Pls beware. I would open my Spotify artist app and suddenly see 100 people streaming my song at once at the strangest hours. Plus, when I tried to schedule a call with Jacob, he basically curbed me.

Scam Service & Fake Streams

Nearly all the playlists in Jacob's network are fake and utilize bots for streams. Take note of the similar follower counts, and the way follower growth increases by the same exact number everyday. Not to mention, the website they use to verify their authenticity (artist.tools) actually has an article about Real Playlists and Jacob themselves where they list it as a scam. Simply look it up, and you'll find it immediately

BOTS

Anybody who uses these guys who are using a different name for their botted network don't. I luckily did a very small promo so the artificial streams won't be significant. Got a warning so that's better then my music being taken down.

Liars and thief's

YES - Now my 4th review Jacob! This is a reply to your reply to my last review!

You're full of it!!! Liar! Thief! You stole over $800 from me a screwed my music right up! Using Artist Tools as smoke and mirrors to cover up your scamming! They aren't accurate, clearly not accurate as all my music has been taken down and a claim against me is being made! Your playlists are all clearly made by you under fake curators as well as your fake 5 star reviews on here.

Grow a heart, a pair of balls and proper man hood!

BOTTED PLAYLISTS - BE AWARE!

We used this service and our song was added to playlists that were evidently botted. A couple of spikes a day of 100+ listeners, the rest of the day, no listeners. We sent a report fo this situation by email, no action whatsoever was taken by this company.
We recently got a warning from spotify that our music is at risk of being taken down, because of the fake strems from the playlists from this service.

It's a complete scam, do not trust this company.

Numbers don’t lie,

I saw real gains as soon as I tried their service, so I can vouch for it. Streams went up, engagement was hittin' hard—I got the numbers to prove it. This ain’t just talk, it’s facts, straight up.

Fake streams

With this experience, I learned two very important things:

1. You can't trust artist.tools because although it considered the playlists I was added to through this sponsorship to be reliable, the streams I received were blatantly fake. It’s very easy to notice this by analyzing Spotify for Artists and observing abnormal spikes in streams and followers that drop right after the sponsorship ends. Live streams are also a helpful way to realize they are bots.

2. Guys, please stop spending money to get into playlists, it’s not the right way to get noticed. Invest the same money in sponsorships like Facebook ads; by doing this, I finally started building a real fanbase that appreciates my art.

SCAM! Playlists are botted!

Jacob reached out offering to promote our music.

He was friendly and gave us a free trial for a few days. I was impressed so we decided to boost two of our songs, spending $360 dollars in total.

However, during the campaign, I noticed the way the streams were coming in was suspect.
A) streaming was very lumpy and inorganic (eg 2 listeners one minute, 60 the next).
B) Streams were all coming from about 4-5 cities in the US.
C) Stream / listener ratio was suspect.
D) Spotify follower count rose and then flatlined even whilst continuing to develop lots of new streams.

After the campaign was over I rose these issues with Jacob. It was all very cordial; I wasn’t SURE the the playlists were botted, as the website says they aren't and I did check each at the start with artist.tools and that said they weren’t either. But just that I was suspicious enough to not want to continue. So we left it there.

About 2.5 months later I receive an email from my distributor saying that Spotify has flagged over 10,000 botted streams from the two songs I boosted with Real Playlists (which was the only company to have boosted those songs). I am now having to fight to not have these songs taken down and my account banned.

I have asked for a full refund and am waiting to hear.

Do not use this company. It is a fraud.

Fake bots and liars!

Fake fake fake - 100% bots - you get a sudden spikedaily dose of “listening now” then rapid fall very quickly!

On a positive note it’s helped slightly with Spotify algorithm, more plays on radio and discover.

BUT they are fake! Also they don’t respond to my emails anymore - please don’t reply to this saying to get in touch lol

Hey Sal, I'm so sorry to hear about the fake curators. We try our best to do our due diligence on all of the playlists we place our clients in, including checking each curator for authenticity on artist.tools, chartmetric, and other bot detection sites. Would you be able to send us a message at support@realplaylists.com? I'd love to look into this further and potentially re-pitch your song if you'll give us a chance.

Fake, Just like every other "playlisting" service

They use a mixture of playlists and bots to boost numbers.
