Jacob ripped me off

Jacob ripped me off, I made the big mistake of trusting this company and lost £496, WHAT EVER YOU DO DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Real Playlists, you will get ripped off. I payed for service and I'm now going to try and get my money back via the bank and the service I used to buy this fake service. I only wish I had looked at Trust pilot before I pay for nothing, I will be writing on every social media site warming everyone how will listen, because this has been a VERY cost experience and he will keep ripping people off as long as he can.
Even the playlists he will place you on are bots, and you will not get paid for the FAKE streams by your distributor. I'm contacting every government department in the USA how will listen to tell them about this fraudster.

Waste of time dont bother RIP OFF Company AVOID

so got badgered and was promised wastn Bots or fake streams , i was releasing a track with a friend so we thought why not lets give it a try and went tfor the cheapest option, we saw the streams rise but then get taken off by spotify. total waste of time and money, i have requested a refund for the service as it was terrible but i doubt i will get anything back. they prey on independent producers and artists and earn money out of their hard work.

update

tried to message them about getting money back and they have gone completely dark now , funny that !! especially as until then they were trying to get me to do more business constantly with them , now they dont message me at all. Avoid these rip off merchants at all costs

Jacob Bosswell is a scam/con man

Jacob Bosswell is a scam/con man. He will ruin your Spotify with bots and stop replying emails when you ask for a refund. I should have done a proper research beforehand and I have learned my lesson. Never again

My track was taken down due to…

My track was taken down due to artificial streaming linked to the playlists they placed it on. This was obviously extremely disappointing, especially since Real Playlists promotes itself as a safe and legitimate service with real plays.

STAY AWAY!

STAY AWAY! Jacob will wreck your Spotify account. I have been fined by Spotify for artificial streams on 3 tracks. All 3 were ONLY with Jacob at Real Playlists Before I knew this I asked for one track to do a repeat month, he failed to replace it on any playlist yet my track got 5,000+ streams in one day from nowhere. He refused to refund me and still placed my track on lists again - 3 off these are shown as botted on artist.tools. I'm looking at taking him to court for fraud. Avoid like the plague.

Predominantly operates through bots playlists

My initial impression was positive, but issues arose in November following the introduction of Spotify's new algorithm aimed at identifying bot activity. It has become apparent that Real Playlists predominantly operates through bots, despite claiming to offer organic playlist placements. Unfortunately, their organic offerings seem limited.

Furthermore, Jacob has refused to issue a refund for the last campaign even though my track did not receive the promised placement. It appears they are scrambling to adjust their strategy, but their reluctance to refund customers caught in this situation only exacerbates the issue. A business caught in deceit should prioritize rectifying its wrongs.

Due to these concerns, I don't recommend Real Playlists. I have since initiated a dispute in my bank to recover my funds. Proceed with caution if considering this service.

Not recommended!!!

Jacob seems like a nice guy and he has good interaction with the customer, but the placements are not valid. A placed three orders, and in all cases, I noticed a huge spike at one point of the day and nothing at other times. The playlists look legit, but they evidently are not. I got feedback from Distrokid that Spotify subtracted the plays and wouldn't pay roylties on them.

officially marked as botted at artisit.tools

Be aware! Kinda the same story as others have already reported. First good contact with Jacob but still placed in Botted playlists and Spotify has removed all fake streams and followers from me... If you report this you will not hear anything from them anymore. Is now also officially registered with artist.tools as 'Botted Marketing sevice' at there website! Even the 5-star reviews on this website are FAKE! Don't fall for it!

I was placed in 6 botted playlists

I was placed in 6 botted playlists, and I was the one who had to notify Jacob from real playlist on the matter. He kept apologizing and talking about how they value legitimacy, and put me in different playlists, some of which have also been botted playlists. Promoting with them has damaged my profile more than it has helped, to the point where my music distributor sent me an email saying that using bots for songs will result in them taking down all my music. Would not recommend.

Very likely a bot farm. Well hidden.

At first Jacob is very helpful, the playlists seem like the most legit I've seen since I thoroughly checking for bot status with ArtistTools, and two other playlist analyzers. The campaigns seemed to be successful, but two weeks after the campaign, Spotify removes the streams it thinks are not legitimate, maybe because of the spike, I'm not sure. Or maybe it has flagged these playlists. This happened twice and these were the only campaigns I was running so it was easy to diagnose and do the math on the streams. I also noticed the listens per playlist were almost exact, and other fishy things.

The worst part is Jacob would not respond after I voiced concerns, he ghosted me on like 6 emails. I feel like I wasted my money and put my Spotify account at risk. I don't recommend at all.

Don't work with them

Don't work with them. It looks like you're getting streams and followers initially, but Spotify takes them away after a month or so. They also overcharged me and refused to refund the amount they overcharged me for. After I asked for a refund, all I got back were automated emails lying about my song already being placed in playlists.

SCAM!

I received a notification from my distributor that the streams are being considered fake. The playlists they are referring to are the following, all associated with RealPlaylists:
• Feel-Good Pop
• Pop Reverie
• Power Pop
• Bubblegum Bliss
• Summer Smash
• Euphoric Pop Waves
• Country Festival Gals
• Nostalgic Pop
• Free: A Country Music Playlist
• Dreamy Cowboy
My song was added to these playlists, and I have reported them to Spotify. Jacob is not responding to my requests. Please be cautious, as realplaylists.com is a bot-based promotional service.

Don't bother

Thought I would take the risk and accept their offer of free playlist placement.
I ended up in 4 playlists with themes and titles not relevant to my music, and the playlists were full of a mish-mash of genres.
I asked to be removed from these playlists but haven't been, and now I have a load of fake engagement on my track
Don't bother

Three campaigns and fake stream notify from Spotify

Took three campaigns for my music from Jacob. I was first happy with these campaigns and saw algorithmic streams increasing.. Everything seemed to be in order verifying quality of playlists with artist.tools etc.. but then I started notice little signs. Some second I had 72 listeners and after a minute 1 or 0 again.
Finally my distributor LANDR contacted me about artificial streaming claim from Spotify.
There are no shortcuts my friends. If it looks to be to good -> it is.
I have reported every single playlist used in these campaign to Spotify artist support for fake streams.

$180 down the drain, SCAM

$180 down the drain. Spotify took my streams away after 2 weeks and said to report the playlists that my song was added to as they were botted and suspicious streams.

Scam

Scam. I have been notified by my distributor and Spotify about fake streams for the track I promoted thru Realplaylist. It cost you lot of money, then you have your streams not counted by Spotify, so you don't get paid for the streams, double loose, and you're notified by Spotify so your artist profile is at risk. Don't use fake botted streams services even if they claim they are not, that's just a lie.
