It was very easy to do the booking as I…

It was very easy to do the booking as I had done all the timetable checks beforehand and knew which trains I needed. It was great to be able to book all three passengers at once. The only problem I had was in paying - trying to use a card that was not accepted, and then panicking that the next card - in a different currency - would change the price substantially. It all worked out.

Easy to use

The website was easy to use to book our trip from Avignon to Barcelona. We wanted to pick our own seats and we weren’t able to. It turned out we got the seats we would have chosen but that is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars

Regarding seating on Renfe trains, customers can choose seat preferences during booking, but specific seat selection isn’t available. Seats are then automatically assigned by the system based on availability and the preference selected. This is part of the rail operator’s booking process, which we follow as their ticket distributor.

If the assigned seats aren’t ideal, passengers can always check with onboard staff on the day of travel to see if a change or swap is possible, depending on availability.

We’ve checked your booking, and we can confirm that the ticket was booked in 2nd class. On our website, the lowest available class is selected by default, and customers can manually switch to 1st or any higher class before completing the booking if preferred.
