Safe place to sign a rental but can be improved
Qasa is a safe place and their representatives are helpful. Your payments are in safe place. But I recommend to the users of Qasa to check the landlord if he/she is the official property owner or not. I made a rental contract through Qasa, and paid deposit by international bank swift. A couple days later it turned out that the person who signed the contract is a family member of the property owner. So, we had to cancel the first contract and make a new contract with the official property owner. This operation costed money to me about bank transfer fee's of first deposit refund and payment of the second deposit.

Our goal is to make renting a home as smooth and as safe as possible and we're always open for ideas on how to improve so we appreciate that you took the time to comment.
Qasa is an open marketplace where landlords advertise their home freely. Even though we review all ads and have other measures in place to secure the safety of the platform, we cannot guarantee that everyone knows the rules and laws regulating second hand rentals in Sweden (although they are obliged to do so). That's why it's important to communicate with the landlord (or tenant depending on which side you're on) before reaching an agreement.
In your case it sounds like a misunderstanding occurred where the landlord thought a family member could handle the rental on his behalf. In Sweden this isn't allowed without the power of attorney, and even if such a document was in place we don't have a technical solution for such an arrangement at the moment. This isn't an unusual misunderstanding and we're going to look at how we inform our users about this since it obviously needs to be more clear.
I also want to take this opportunity to recommend our excellent support team which you can contact via chat or email via our help center. If any questions arises during the initial phase where you're in contact with a landlord, don't hesitate to contact us and we'll help you sort out any question marks and prevent situations like this from occurring.

Simple and easy apartment rental process

"Payment guarantee"
I only chose them for the payment guarantee which says you will receive the money 26th every month, which they where not able to do. They would not say when they paid, but my bank confirmed that I would receive it 2 the next month. This was important to me because of other payments I needed to make with the money...and because of their lack of accountability...(They just said it was paid out and nothing they could do)...i cancelled the service.
Just do it directly and split the fees with the tenant. Its just a false sense of security to go through qasa, anything happens they dont assist.

I'm sorry about the experience you're mentioning here. Since I don't have any information about you I'll try answer it in a more general way.
Payments reach the landlord on the 25th each month, if the 25th is a red day it'll be on your account the last weekday before (if 25 is on a Sunday, you'll receive the money on Friday 23rd).
If the payout for some reason failed, it will be sent the first weekday after.
I hope this explain it a bit more and that your rental continues in a great way.
