Change to Pure - best decision
My elderly whippet has always been a fussy eater. Likes a brand for a few days then goes off it.
She now has arthritis and heart failure so I wanted to try to give her the best. That ‘best’ turned out to be Pure. She can’t get enough of it. Eagerly turns up for every meal ❤️
Such a helpful company, providing top class food and always keeps in contact with advice and ideas.

Old rather plump dustbin ( or Pug)…
Old rather plump dustbin ( or Pug) loves it. Three accurately measured meals a day is easy, and it’s easily eaten as no big hard bits. It doesn’t smell, and poo is consistent and not too smelly either.
Communication with Pure is lovely, they couldn’t be more helpful.
The only thing is, it’s not cheap, but worth every penny as I know there’s no nasties in it.
Great to leave the delivery to Pure, and as the sacks are very small and have his name on them, no huge storage issue, so that’s a big bonus in a small house.
As they’re such, you always know it’s fresh. Very happy all round!

Don’t get me wrong the product is good. My 2x dogs loved it but the price goes up. Read between the lines. The first box isn’t a months worth it’s 2 weeks and for my staffy it goes to £50 sum a month and for my unknow it’s £80 and neather of them has health problems !!!!! Silly so silly those prices. Probably costs the company’s a couple quid per bag to make in bulk and profits unbelievabley of you. Definitely going back to my old stuff.

Just to clarify, the first order is a two-week transition pack to help dogs gradually move over to Pure before moving onto their ongoing feeding plan. We do explain this during the sign-up process, and the full subscription price is shown before checkout.
We completely understand that budget is an important consideration, especially when feeding more than one dog. Pure is made using high-quality, natural ingredients and is formulated to provide complete and balanced nutrition, so while it may cost more than some alternatives, we always aim to deliver a premium product with carefully sourced ingredients.

Brilliant food for a growing puppy
The helpful staff have been wonderful from the get go.
The food has been fantastic. After struggling with multiple biscuit brands to help keep weight on daisy as she was growing this good has got her in brilliant condition head to toe coat included. Wouldn’t dream of using anything else now.

Fantastic Bespoke Food Option
Fantastic, bespoke, food option for dogs. Not only is everything tailored to my dogs specific needs, he actually likes & eats it. As he is benefiting from better ingredients going in, coming out is so much better too. Price isn’t that much different to the volume of wet / dry food I was getting from a supermarket too. Would highly recommend.

Arthur is a food led dog
Arthur is a food led dog, his new food suits him well and his portions are easy to control, although it looked less in his bowl. The food stores easily and takes up less space than his old kibble.
There is less to clean up when he goes for a walk which means I think means absorption is better. His coat looks shinier as well. We are both pleased with the results.

We have been using this food for a while now and both our dogs absolutely love it. One even sings as we get it ready. It is easy to order and to make any changes. It’s great you can different flavours and the subscription service makes it so easy to never forget to order. The treats are also lovely and our dogs enjoy those too. If I have ever needed to contact the company they are always most helpful and solve issues promptly. We would all totally recommend this company to all.

I’m very disappointed with Pure pet…
I’m very disappointed with Pure pet food company. The first product I received (a starter kit) was not good for my dog—pieces got stuck to the bowl and the food was difficult for her to eat. I also had issues with their website, as I couldn’t access the site properly.
After I received the starter kit, I emailed them to cancel my subscription. They replied confirming the cancellation was completed, and I haven’t received any additional food. After about 2 months, I am getting emails saying the food is coming and Im charged for it even though I had already cancelled. This is misleading and not acceptable for a subscription service.

We're also sorry to hear about the confusion regarding your cancellation. That certainly isn't the experience we want our customers to have, and we'd really like the opportunity to review your account to understand what happened and why you received further emails and a charge after you believed your subscription had been cancelled.
Regarding the food itself, Pure is a gently dehydrated food, so there are a number of different ways it can be prepared to achieve different textures and consistencies. There are some ways in which we can recommend to try feeding to reduce the sticky texture you mentioned too.
