DO NOT USE THIS FIRM OF SOLICITORS

Appalling service. Impossible to get the solicitor on the phone, just bounced around by the call centre. No response to most emails. Then they will email to say they need another piece of information, which should clearly have been flagged up previously. Completion delayed twice now. Who knows when I might actually get to buy my house. Very upsetting and stressful.

Sale and Purchase - 100% Recommend Mohammed

Having to use such a difficult system of selling and buying houses, it’s good to have such experienced and good people as Mohammed Arfan and Calley looking after my sale and purchase. I would definitely use them again.

Start awful saved by Mohammed

Most stressful year of our life. First 6 months they weren’t bothered about our case, it went slow and there was no communication and when there was it was a different person every time. Chasing documents that were already sent weeks before just no clue.

And then Mohammed Arfan took are case on and completely salvaged any trust we had left he honestly is a credit to your company. From the day he took over he kept us updated helped us with any issues we had he was quick to respond and just put us at ease for the last couple of months of our sale and buy. I honestly can say Mohammed was amazing from start to finish and we are so thankful we had his help and experience in leasehold properties. No words will explain how smooth the process become when he took over.

It would of been 5 stars if we started it with mohammed

Adequate

Overall, working with ProConveyancing was quite slow and frustrating with several mistakes made. We had to chase a lot and correct a few numbers. However, the experience was improved when Mohammed took over our case as he was very responsive.

Avoid at all costs

Wish I had read the reviews before appointing ProConveyancing, it has been so bad from the beginning. It would take me far to long to go through everything that was/has been wrong but just avoid at all costs because your sell/buy will be far more stressful than it needs to be and they won’t even communicate with you if things aren’t completed within the legal paperwork, if I hadn’t done my own research I never would have known that the even 6 months after completion the land registry was never changed to our names. We were never notified and when asked for a refund for something we believe they should pay for due to it leaving us in a very compromising position - they refused. The quote is cheap for a reason. Just avoid.

Poor start but ended well

After a terrible start and a formal complaint regarding the sale of our house, Mohammed Arfan handled the complaint and Clare Lewis & Keeley Bell took over our sale and purchase. All three individuals mentioned above were excellent. They always kept us updated and communicated efficiently. Keeley was really friendly and approachable. They were very organised and were always one step ahead of the game. Once they took over everything ran smoothly

Overall it seems to depend on who you get as to whether you have a good experience or not. In the end we were extremely satisfied with the sale and purchase with Keeley and Clare.

During a protracted and doomed sale…

During a protracted and doomed sale where the chain collapsed I found ProConveyancing distant and uninterested. They lost some documents I had sent and I had to re-do them.
The house was finally sold when Mohammed Arfan took control of the new sale. The difference was remarkable as he was efficient, communicative and always available. The sale went through quickly and his positive manner made dealing with him a pleasure. I would highly recommend asking for him if dealing with the company.
I gave 4 stars mainly for Mohammed and dropped one star for their previous efforts.

A (Very) Mixed Experience

ProConveyancing were recommended to us by our estate agents regarding our sale and purchase.
The initial process was positive - this consisted of filling out multiple different forms via the app which was relatively simple to use; minimal assistance was required from our conveyancor at this stage.
Towards the latter stages of our sale, we encountered several issues largely eminating from our disastrous management company. At this point, we were reliant on our solicitor to provide help, support and advice to resolve issues, however this was sadly non-existent. Our case worker was nigh on impossible to contact (would rarely answer the phone or answer emails) and offloaded the majority of work to her legal assistant who, despite trying her best, was not qualified to deal with the issues that arose; much of the legal issues were simply forwarded on to us in an email for us to deal with rather than the solicitor. We ultimately felt we had paid for a personal assistant in ProConveyancing as opposed to actual solicitors. Without seeking to sound dramatic, this culminated in possibly the 3 most stressful weeks of our lives.
After several complaints, we were re-assigned a case worker in Mohammed Arfan; the difference between Mohammed and the previous case worker was honestly night and day. He had recently joined the firm and recognised the serious failings of our previous case worker. Mohammed resolved the major issues that had been enduring for weeks in a matter of a couple of days. He was professional, knowledgable and importantly sympathetic to our situation. His communication throughout the latter stages of the process couldn't have been better. This then continued on into our purchase.
Our experience with ProConveyancing was therefore very mixed (and quite challenging to give a rating to), going from a company I would not recommend in the slightest to a company I would absolutely recommend, and definitely in Mohammed who deserves 5 stars and recognition from his seniors.

Gemma dealt with my re-mortgage

Gemma dealt with my re-mortgage , involving switching lenders. Gemma was really professional, answering my emails and any queries I had along the way. The whole process was smooth, the upload process of documentation was very easy and the completion was bang on track. Well done Gemma and ProConveyance. Would definitely recommend.
