Extremely disappointed with Zoopla for allowing dodgy agencies to operate under their name and doing nothing to protect customers. It feels like they are covering and supporting unprofessional companies instead of helping people who have been treated unfairly.
1505 LTD Properties Agency has refused to refund my daughter’s £1300 deposit, which is completely unacceptable. They are holding onto money that rightfully belongs to her, causing unnecessary stress and financial difficulty.
We raised this issue expecting Zoopla to take responsibility and investigate properly, but they have shown no real concern or action. A company like Zoopla should not allow agencies like this to continue misleading customers and damaging people’s trust.
I strongly advise everyone to stay away from both Zoopla and 1505 LTD Properties Agency. Be very careful before dealing with either of these house agencies, as customer protection seems to be the last thing they care about.

Send me properties via email, often nice. Click on the property and it asks me to log in. Show me the property without me logging in please?. Business concept right but awful execution thats why the charge less

Extremely Bad Experience, They do not have the time to speak to you, they only take a second and tell you " the property is on hold, will call you back" then the property still remains in lettings for weeks and weeks.
I don't even think they get in touch with the landlord they just lie to you.
Just because they want to earn pay for themselves but they do not want the landlord to make any money, the property just stay remaining on the lettings.
And their job just carries on getting money. Nothing applies to our own British citizens anymore.
If you want Rich people just say so,
So we know where we are looking.
You only contact the landlord if a rich person comes up.
From my experience it's True.
THEY ONLY WANT TO HELP RICH PEOPLE,

They got the EPC rating wrong on my house (when rightmove and on the market got it right), when I informed them they said it couldn't be changed. Absolutely useless

I think this is bad to ask people personal details before you can even view a property
Then you hear nothing and eventually see the property is let obviously they decided you weren’t worthy or squeaky clean bad treatments why not let us view then if we want to go foreword to let property get those details then / I feel like I’ve told so many people our details & has made me unhappy

I believe Zoopla should work on their filters or start policing more strict listings. Every time I search for a flat to rent I exclude shared properties, student properties and retirement homes as I am completely not interested in those. Yet every time, without fail, I get excited about checking property with fitting rent only to find out it's a shared one/only for students/retirement homes when I click into it. What is the point of having filters if they don't work and make your search longer than you wanted because you have to click into every interesting property to find out if it's a shared one?
Should get 0 stars
What an utter joke!, be it the mobile app or the zoopla website, no matter what time of day, it simply doesn't work!
Amazing update guys, way to lose thousands of potential customers.
Rightmove here I come........

Zoopla underprice our property, even when the prices were high. Now their prices have dropped even more and they haven’t valued the property. Their valuations are incorrect. I would not trust them at all.

Zoopla’s house prices on there web site are so inaccurate it’s ridiculous. It’s all a big con to try to get you to contact them.

Incredibly irritating and repetitive ad campaign. I was regularly consulting Zoopla, but after this campaign I reconsidered and will be looking for a different site.

Just awful & I have tried to cancel them by calling them but it's really difficult A WASTE OF TIME!
USE their competitor.
I tried to complete their online form to reply to an email about a property but it JUST WOULD NOT WORK...AND no-one to complain to!

There are 3, 633 negative reviews on Zoopla, which should be indication enough.
I emailed them over a week ago and still haven't received a reply.

I wanted a quick rough valuation. Got it, but then endless emails after unsubscribing 6 times.
So tried to delete the account, and even that has so far taken a 5 minute AI bot interrogation which resulted in... an email asking me to subscribe to another part of Zoopla in order to delete my account. Minus 5 stars. Untrustworthy and wasting my time. Don't think I've ever done a Trustpilot review before, but Zoopla has annoyed me THAT MUCH!

I would score this minus if I could, set up a payment plan for reduced payments for 3 months, then demanded I pay the missing payments as soon as the plan had ended and gave me a default notice for it. Keep well away from this con artist company, I will be contacting my MP and escalating my complaint, treated very poorly in deed

Little to comment, except REASONS for property prices fluctuating not always clear, certainly in the case of Eastbourne recorded a 10.4 per cent fall in average house prices between July 2024 and July 2025, the largest drop of any area in England.
Property Buyers Today conducted the study using HM Land Registry data and found that the average house price in Eastbourne fell from £271,545 in July 2024 to £243,181 in July 2025.
This constitutes a loss of £28,364!??-perhaps Zoopla could elaborate?

You claim my flat 3 saxon park was on sale for £52,000 2023
It was for £62,000. I bought it 2023 now try to sell, so very annoyed ! As I have also spent thousands on my flat as well.

Sorry to say that the whole experience of advertising with Zoopla this time has been unpleasant and unproductive. The 'gotcha' auto-renew is a disgraceful way to do business and I thought it had been banned - it wouldn't take much for Zoopla to ask their customers if they actually want to renew.

Inputted postcode into zoopla website to establish current value of house with a view to understanding current local market. In order to do this I had to give my email address, name etc. Result was they had insufficient information to provide an estimated valuation yet they took my personal information. The website confirmed the price we paid for the address some 8 years ago, yet were unable to determine the current estimated value! For my needs, a complete waste of 5 minutes and I won’t be using or recommending Zoopla to anyone.
