Absolutely terrible experience — beyond frustrated with PostNord

I ordered an air purifier from Dyson and chose home delivery with PostNord. I booked a delivery date and time, thinking everything was sorted. But instead, I got a notification in the app saying the package had been “wrongly sorted.”

Okay, mistakes happen, but this has turned into a complete nightmare.

It’s now been over three days, and every single day I get multiple notifications that the package is being scanned at the same exact location. It’s like it’s stuck in a loop and no one is doing anything to fix it.

I contacted PostNord’s customer service (if you can even call it that) multiple times, hoping someone could step in and get things moving. But all I got were copy-paste responses and empty apologies. They just keep telling me to wait for the package to be sent back to the warehouse and re-shelved, but there’s no timeline, no explanation, nothing. Just “wait.”

I honestly feel like I’m talking to a wall. No one takes responsibility, no one offers a solution, and clearly no one cares about how frustrating this is for the customer. I’ve wasted time waiting at home, checking the app, and chasing a package that’s apparently going in circles.

This is hands down one of the worst delivery experiences I’ve ever had. If I had the option, I’d never use PostNord again. Completely unreliable and infuriating.

absolute weasels clearly everytime I put in my doorcode, and all info to get in on invoice too. This time they made a fast call hung up, which I could not call back, most times no call, just lost money by using the home delivery "i could not get in" then why did you ask that info in the app, you got the doorcode, I am on the door info too, and other times I go down and you had the key to my mailbox and put in the package in the box, but now u can not even get in, even with the info to get me to buzz u in. If i get my money back and you adjust the drivers cutting corners i will change this otherwise you do not deserve business.

Like talking to potatoes…

I received a notice that a package arrived for me to pick up from the post office. After about two days, I went the post office, but the unsympathetic employee told me that it wasn’t there and that I should keep checking back. I then received a reminder to pick up the package a few days later, so I went immediately to pick it up. Again, another unsympathetic employee told me it was not there and would not help me further. All they would tell me was that there was something wrong with the system. I called customer service and could not get a real person to speak with me. Not only did the employees refuse to help beyond looking at their screen, there was never an apology about the situation. I do not know how to resolve the situation, as no one is willing to help be beyond looking at their screens. A simple apology would at least make me feel a bit better about the situation.

Postnord needs to train their staff to have better empathy and actually help with problems rather than leaving the customer helpless, with absolutely no accountability on Postnord’s end. They also obviously have problems with their system, as their employees keep telling me without offering to help.

Illegally running company

It isn’t for no reason that PostNord being dog awful is general knowledge. They genuinely do whatever they want without caring, because they cannot be sanctioned.

They just don’t deliver your packages because they don’t feel like it and they are rude and disrespectful.

There are no facilities to pick up packages around you if they get delivered to their warehouse, instead of a pickup point. You HAVE to know where to go, to their industrial warehouse, how to get in, who to talk to, you are on your own.

Avoid them like the plague. Worse than any other country.

Avoid

Okay, if you chose pick up point, if you want your parcel home chose ANY OTHER company, iv never managed to have them delivered home. Pretty sure they dont bother too and just drop the packages to agents, they dont even try calling you. One time they wrote to me "the gate was locked" there was no gate it was a house so I know they lied

Very bad experience with Postnord

Very bad experience with Postnord. They send me information that yesterday will deliver my things. Yesterday they sent me sms that my deliveries will not be done, no reason provided. Today they sent me the deliveries to a pick up point. They are 20 kg, I don't have a car and can't take them from there. I was talking with 2 agents which interrupted the chat and advised me to call on the phone. When I am calling nobody picks the phone... terrible...

From Denmark to Slovakia

From Denmark to Slovakia came in 4 days which is pretty decent time. But once in country of reciver it such pain to get more info about package place. They just told its going to be transferred to some office or pick out box like AlzaBox in Slovakia. Such a service I see as disrespect to customers. 5€ for 0,6kg box is wild job cuh.

The most shitty postal company in the…

The most shitty postal company in the EU. Unfortunately, this is a monopolized Swedish postal service. (Perhaps this is why there is so much bureaucracy and contempt for regular customers. Parcels are systematically lost, not delivered, and their tracks are lost during delivery, often significantly exceeding the promised delivery time when placing an order. The customer support team is virtually useless in resolving issues. Unfortunately, it is often impossible to opt out of their services (as it is a monopoly Swedish postal service). However, if you still have the option to receive your package using other postal services, I strongly recommend that you take advantage of this opportunity.

Incompetent postal service

This is the absolute worst postal service I've ever dealt with. Packages don't get delivered when promised, gets sent back, and delayed by over a week. Customer service is extremely rude and not helpful at all. If possible, avoid them at all costs!

PostNord is always a drama

PostNord is always a drama, but this time I have had it with them.

I ordered some stuff online on the 1st of July (it is now the 17th). I could see that the package of 65 grams went thru tull (customs) in Denmark on the 5th, all fine and after that it just laid there until the 10th. It then went on to Växjö, on the 14th there was a new update, it had left Växjö to be delivered to my nearest ICA PostNord service. Directly after that message I got another stating that the package was held up due to incomplete packaging (whatever that means). After that it was complete silence, so this morning I contacted PostNord via chat and had a convo with someone who calls themselves an "agent". Sorry but we cannot deliver due to incomplete packaging, so I replied that I read about the packaging but what does it mean? Is it damaged, is it lost? Where is the package now? Answer: You need to take it up with the sender and file a complaint with them. So I replied again, but the package went thru tull alright, so something happened between Denmark and Växjö, the sender wouldn't know, where is the package now? Reply from PostNord, I have given you all the info and answered your question, I wish you a pleasant day. Uhmmm nah hello, You did not answer my question, where is my package? Reply: Agent has left the chat.

I then proceeded to call them, no such luck. The automated service I got tells me the package connected to my ph.nr. is en route and will be delivered to ICA the next delivery day.

Hello Postnord? Do you think your customers are all imbeciles and is that why you employ said types?

I have lived in several countries, but this is BY FAR the worst service I have ever encountered!!

UPDATE: Today is July 24th. Still no package, and I cannot even get a refund from the sender because it is still registered in the PostNord app as "on its way to be delivered" even though it also still says it's being held up in red letters.

Disgraceful!

Absolutely Horrible Service

Every time I have a delivery with PostNord they end up screwing it up, and it is sent to ICA Malmborgs Limhamn, where everyone working in the mail department scores zero customer service. They are always sour faced, and treat you like you are a disturbance to their day.

This time around the app claims that they tried to deliver the parcel, but my doorbell is connected to my phone, and there is no record of them trying to call, not to my phone, and not through the doorbell. It's a big, heavy package, and I planned my day around being home to make sure I wouldn't have to carry it from the post office, but no such luck! And all customer service is off in the evening, so there is absolutely no way of getting in contact with the delivery driver.

Called Postnord customer service to book delivery of a parcel, didnt get the guys name which is probably good as he after putting me on hold for 5 mins, came back to me and told me that the name on my parcel wasnt the same as mine so he couldnt help me and I needed to contact the company that I had bought my things from, I already knew this wasnt true and called again and got in touch with SOFIA, which fixed and setup everything for me in less than 5 mins, so this bad review is only based on my first experience / call to Postnord, the second time I called everything went as expected, please give Sofia this feedback if possible :)

Unreliable service with high prices, extorting money to fix their own mistakes

Unreliable postal service with high prices.

It is a huge shame that Sweden has sold its postal infrastructure to this company. When postnord took over the Swedish postal service they raised the prices a LOT immediately. They are still raising some prices unreasonably on small letters for example, trying to rationalize it by saying that people do not send enough letters now, so they have to raise the prices on sending letters. Sure, doing that will definitely convince people to send more...

They can be so unreliable, that even the employees of some online marketplaces actively discourage people from choosing postnord for transport instead of other providers like DHL or DBSchenker... Which also tend to offer much better prices on the same size&weight packages...

It has happened several times that I paid for home delivery by postnord, but they never even showed up with the item at my home... They just dumped it at a small store agent in the area. Then they did not even send any digital notification about it... They just left a paper note in the mailbox several days later, saying that they tried to deliver to me, but could not, (they never even tried, I know, someone is always home...) and that I have to pick it up from the agent until a deadline. Which is great when that is like 1-2 days away, because the bas...rds did not even leave the notification sheet in time for me, which is all the more proof that they did not even try to deliver the package to me before...

I have also received items broken during shipment several times.

----

Also, now I am facing their most messed up delivery o far.

I bought an item on Vinted and PostNord should have delivered it to me in just a few days. But instead of that, they have made a gigantic mess of it. My package disappeared for 2 at their sorting terminal near me and PostNord's (PN) Customer Support (CS) said that it is post likely lost and I need to complain to Vinted to get a refund.

Then after giving a negative review to PN here and complaining to their CS, my package magically turned up as arrived to a postal agent. However, not at my chosen agent here, but instead, at a random agent in another city hundreds of kilometers away, with a ticking deadline for me to pick it up before it gets returned.

I called PN's CS and they said it was PN's mistake and they will schedule a redelivery to the correct address.

Days later there was no change in Tracking, I called again and CS said it should arrive to me next week Wed/Thur.

Now it is next week Thur and the package is still shown sitting in the other city far away, I got no delivery notification.

I called CS again and they said that they see the package still being in that city and the only thing I can do is pay 39kr extra money to have them re-deliver it to my chosen address... That they cannot give me a free re-delivery. That they cannot refund this cost.

So they made a gigantic mess of my delivery, they screwed up sorting and tracking for my package and they sent it to a random location in a different city hundreds of kilometers away. And they have not fixed their mistake even after several calls to customer service, even more, apparently customer service kept giving me false information about fixing the issue.

Then to put a cherry on top, they made me pay extra money to them so they would try to fix their mistake and send my package to the correct address, where it should have been sent to in the first place, weeks ago...

And now I have to wait and hope that my delivery will finally be sent to the correct address...

What a disgusting mess.

Horrible company.

I strongly advise against using this service. I booked a home pickup service last Monday, but no one came to collect the package. I had to reschedule for the next three days, but guess what? No one showed up, and there was no explanation whatsoever. I tried again today, but the app claimed that I wasn’t home even though I was. What on earth are you doing seriously?
