To them you are not the customer, just a necessary annoyance to deal with

I would advise you not to trust this company as their "express package" service seems to be a scam. They delay the delivery of the package with excuses such as "Delivery may be delayed by one day" and eventually mark it as "a delivery attempt made" without even making any effort to deliver the package. That’s unfortunate just how they grab some extra money out of you.

Posti doesn’t deliver

Out of 10 parcels that I am meant to receive, at best only 1 would get delivered. This is ridiculous. I’ve never seen a post service that would be barely delivering parcels. I get a message saying that Posti attempted to deliver my parcel, however I’ve been home all day and nobody came by. And this is most of the time and this is in the capital city!!! First of all it’s a blatant lie, I’m working from home and therefore I am always home on the working days, and second - even when I specify to leave it a pick up point ( because I already know nothing will be delivered to my home), it’s being left at the post service anyway… by far the worst postal service I’ve experienced, would have given 0 stars if I could.

Unsure why people are hating on Posti

Unsure why people are hating on Posti. I've been using it all my life and received tens of packages from them, no problems. No packages have been lost, and usually pretty quick delivery. I guess people get really fussy about some parcels getting lost, while they completely ignore the thousands of parcels Posti delivered successfully.

This is what our taxes goes to

Cant imagine my taxes goes to this service, first posti managed to lose my kids birthday present sent from another European country from my family. Package got cleared by customs a month ago, but after that the package was lost. Talked with customer service and they were going to check the status. Got a sms 1 week later that package cant be found and in the same sms they reminded me that they have no responsible for the post they handle.

Then, last week i ordered a package from Germany, chose DHL to avoid having posti handling my package. DHL managed to transport my order across germany and ship it to Finland within 24h from friday to saturday. But then, i realized that its posti that handles the packages in finland for DHL, now its wednesday and package havent even been scanned in finland yet.

Avoid posti at any cost, they just suck

Slowest postal system

The worst and slowest postal system in the world. It took 4 days to deliver a small package to Sweden. Only until Sweden! in Sweden, another company prepared the shipment for sending.

They lost 1000€ personal luggage and they don't care

I sent luggage from Finland to Belgium, they provided this service with insurance and everything. But they lost my personal luggage. I wait endlessly before I get an answer.

After sending more than 15 emails; They said "we will investigate it". So I called my BPost (Belgium postal) office 3 weeks later. Their reaction is Posti closed the investigation without doing anything. So they are basically to lazy to do anything.

I don't understand how bad this is company is managed, and how this company still exists?

Just terrible

Just terrible. Do not use this service. They are a bunch of lazy, cheating and stealing thieves. They don’t deliver, say they tried and then you do not know where your good are. This is unbelievable, and that is representative for a country, should be ashamed, of course thieves are not.
Do not send anything using that lot !!!!!!!!!! You will loose it

Absolutely horrible service

Absolutely horrible service. 2h on the customer service line? And I had no help, anyway.... Are seriously? Or just ignoring customer's online? There is not explanation, because I never believe in that you have so huge costumer service que in 5 million population country. I just can't believe that you have 100 customers in que at Saturday morning. And guys if customer call you with the question, that is 90% he have had application and just have some missunderstanding question to you. Don't always remind me that I need application to follow my package.

Slowest parcel service in the world?

Every time I order something from Finland it´s unfortunately shipped with Posti. I'm used to slow postal service here in DK, but Posti is just on a whole new level. Sorting usually takes about a week and then transport also take about a week. It might actually be faster to walk from DK to Helsinki and pick up the parcel.

Posti is kind of the worst...
...following a general trend in Finland not to deliver to people's homes. No matter what delivery options are selected, companies go out of their way to make it difficult or impossible to get home delivery (like you have to confirm it multiple times, and if you miss one, too bad). I understand the environmental costs of home delivery, but WE DO NOT HAVE A CAR. Getting a package one or two times a month (if that) therefore seems more environmentally responsible overall, but no, things just get delivered to some random place (even though we have a pick-up spot at the end of our street) and we have to figure out how to get there by bike or on foot and lug whatever it is home.

Also, stamps are crazy expensive and Posti completely lost our mail that we paid them to hold while we were out of town.

Unfortunately, there is no better alternative in Finland, so I only expect things to get worse and I am mostly writing this to vent.

Package got reservation in posti…

Package got reservation in posti locker, but package just chilling in the Posti transport in the city of destination. Very bad service
And now my package leave my city of destination and going back to Vantaa :DDDD

Worst service ever encountered

Worst service ever encountered. My parcel was supposed to deliver within 2-4 business days. However, it arrived after 5 days excluding the 5 easter holidays. I was not able to pick it up till then and it was of no use to me.

Pay less to CEO and do better service

All because they have to pay outrageous amounts of money to CEO of Posti. Like 1 million euro/year. The services suffer. Bonuses paid for reasons like customer satisfaction was high. Except the employees do not get bonus, only the CEO. I just wonder what they were smoking when doing those polls about customer satisfaction.

* Packages go to random retrieval boxes. Posti people are trained to say "because other boxes were full" without even checking it.

* The customs processing fees are crazy. 0.90euro for Posti doing it and you give all the information. It is 2.90euro for you do it yourself and you give all the information. In either case, Posti does nothing but collect the fee.

* The shipping fees are outrageous. If I buy something from Germany which is 30kg in weight. The shipping to Finland costs 15euro. If I need to send same thing back to Germany from Finland, it costs 50+euro.

Unbelievable!

I live i Sweden an ordered some goods from a Finish company.
The company was fast to send my package.
Posti on the other hand is a total nightmare! In five days they haven't managed to get my package to Sweden. Last time I checked the package was in Kaunas which I belive is in Lituhania? What the hell is my package doing there?

Swedish PostNord is a dream compared to the disquisting Posti!
Will never order anything from Finland again if Posti is the only option for transport!

The worst company

The worst company i have ever encountered. They send parsels to whichever pick up point they want as if I don't put address when buying things, not even asking you, not sending link for you to choose the pick up point. Today was the cherry on top - they just sent a message that my parcel is here, on the other end of the city, just wow posti. Thanks a lot. Can it be any worse? Maybe you will deliver to another city next time?

Unbelievable services

Unbelievable services. Some of my ordered online was misrouted to another pick up point which is far from my chosen pick up point. So disappointed coz it did happen several times. I have to carry that large & weighty package from the pickup point to my house for 25 mins😡

They will not deliver packages home and lie/scam customers

They will not deliver packages home that I have paid to be delivered home. There are always lies and excuses. Customer service is horrible. They always lie that there was an attempt to deliver the package. No there wasn't. I was home waiting for it and have cameras checking the road. No. one. came. This happens with every single package with posti. All other postal services deliver packages just fine. This is a problem with this failed company in particular.

So my tip is. Do not use the services of Posti. They uphold unethical labour practices, they do not do what they promise to do and they are inefficient as a company.
