I am using OmaPosti service and online…

I am using OmaPosti service and online assistant help. Both are malfunctioning. As I was waiting for a parcel from abroad (non EU country), I contacted an online service in advance to ask how I could declare my parcel. In order to avoid later inconveniences. I was told, by one of your workers via online chat, that I would receive a message from OmaPosti about my parcel. I asked how I would receive the message, and if it would be an SMS message? As I asked that, I was mocked by your worker. As she answered, she used emojis and laughed at my question. I found it highly disrespectful and I felt humiliated by her response. She closed the chat, without waiting for my positive response about it. Furthermore, as I was waiting for a text message (SMS) that never came, I contacted Finnish customs myself and made the declaration form. There I included my invoice, which clearly stated that 24% of VAT PLUS Shipping costs are already paid. Later on, I received an electronic application form from Postti where I was asked to pay Shipping costs again. So I pay shipping costs 3 times. And as I am still waiting for my parcel to arrive, I noticed a message on the OmaPosti service page, for a parcel CF*********AU tracking. Where it says that I was contacted by OmaPosti via SMS message about my package arrival. This is a lie. And I find your service not only extremely disrespectful and corrupt, but INHUMANE!
What hurt me the most is not that I had to pay 3 times for shipping costs, but the fact, that I was mocked by the person whose job actually is to answer customers questions.

Let's get something straight about…

Let's get real about posti.fi:

Their postage prices are amongst the highest in the world. For example, it costs 49 euros to send an average size parcel (under 1 kilo) to the USA.

I wouldn't mind if we were getting a quality service in return but they are undoubtedly the most poorly-performing postal agency on the planet.

They have closed their post offices, made their own staff redundant and handed over the business of processing postal items to supermarket staff without - it seems to me - providing any meaningful training or even guidance to these poor people who are mostly unable to understand how to correctly assess a package for international shipping.

On one occasion recently, a shop assistant in a K-Market store actually burst into tears when I presented a simple Maksi-Kirje package to go to the USA because she could just not navigate the system. She asked me to take it to another store.

They routinely fail to notify you about the arrival of international items which require customs clearance.

They don't even notify you - a lot of the time - when said items arrive at the local pick-up point after customs clearance.

Only today I had to instruct a Sale shop assistant to search amongst the packages on their shelves to retrieve an item I KNEW had to be there, even though I had received no notification of its arrival. If I hadn't done so, it would have been returned to sender the following day - how bad is that?

Also, I often receive items sent from abroad with tracking stuffed in my letter-box without any attempt to obtain my signature.

As for OmaPosti and their internet services....well, get this - it actually costs substantially MORE to order shipping online from posti.fi for a parcel to go abroad than it does to take it to a local supermarket and process it there (if they are able). How ridiculous is that?

Within 24 hours of signing up for my own OmaPosti account I was inundated with scam emails and messages on my phone and in my email, so their internet security is completely compromised. I closed my account two days later.

Posti.fi are so useless and inefficient that they make Kela appear like a Gold-Standard organisation for customer service and quality performance in comparison.

This organisation is a stain on the reputation of Finland and should be subject to investigations at the highest level.

Posti.fi is an absolute disgrace.

Absolutely horrible service

I had ordered a package from china and it had arrived to Finland. I tracked the package and it said released from warehouse and it NEVER arrived. I contacted the customer service and they just said contact the chinese seller even though they do not have anything to do with the package anymore since its in Finland. I never got the package nor my money back. Horrible horrible service.

I visited kasarmintori posti in order…

I visited kasarmintori posti in order to get my package shipped back to a vendor. I had received the shipping order/label in e-mail. Posti refused to take the package as I had not printed the label myself on to the package.
The year is 2022. One would imagine that a state owned company would try to be more green by usin the electronic tickets. The ticket/label had a bar code so clearly it is meant for such.

95% of packages arrive at wrong locations

95% of packages ordered never arrive at where specified.

home delivery? Sorry, you will have to PICK IT UP YOURSELF because you were not home (im always home due to working from home) this has been 100% case with all home deliveries via posti.

Delivery to a pick up point? 80% chance of it being redirected to the furthest possible pick up point from specified pick up point, without leaving the city.

I ask them to fix it and send it to where i specified it in the order? (which has to be done via expensive phone call)
"sorry, only the sender can request that" is the answer i got for the latest order.
Even though I would have to pay extra for it.

Thieves working there!

Awfully disappointed with this post service... I was tracking my parcel (giant parcel of 13 kilos), from Helsinki to Stockholm, it didn't move anywhere from the sorting point. Then when i called they said, oh it's lost, we'll look for it, but of course there was no parcel to find anymore, they just stole it from the very sorting point, what a shame!!! Be aware that there are thieves working there!

Even one star is too much for POSTI!

It is my 3rd parcel probably lost on the way from VANTAA to my office Pitäjänmäki (12 km) from UK. No information came to me about customs, anyway I paid customs. It is 11th day, they claim next day it will be reached. Called several times, same answer: "wait, probably soon it will come" but nothing happened.

Posti has to solve the big problem with workers in CUSTOMS and customs warehouse. Probably they are stealing things, or throwing out.

It is too sad, Posti is working within the country quite well.

Posti has to change completely "other countries/Customs" parcels department. Change/fire all workers and all managers (they couldn't manage for sure), renew IT and warehouse infrastructure.

I thought Royal Mail was a royal fail but when Posti Group reached the bottom, it broke it and fell down to the fiery pits of Hell.

There should be an option to give minus points. One star is too generous.

If you ever consider paying for their services, DO NOT! It is waste of money and even for free for whatever unholy reason it's a massive pain to deal with them and not worth it.

POSTI: Please at least try to be better. Now it just seems like you couldn't care less...

They lost my outside EU parcel

They lost my outside EU parcel, just after cleared from the Customs, even I paid Posti handling fee.
First they blamed sender. I told several times, If you tell the location of my parcel, I can go and fetch myself. Then they told that I have no right to ask about the parcel, because they are responsible to sender, sender has to call and ask about the parcels situation.

After my first call passed more than 3 weeks, whenever I called them, they told just wait, we will call you back. No call back, no change in the parcel status.

They have no answer where the parcel is, is it stolen, is it lost. They blamed Customs that they did not process it, but when I called Customs, they told "It is a classical Posti lie".

Whenever I called them they told, "Wait we are interested in your problem", probably/definitely they were just trying to close the phone. During my conversation, call center responsible closed the phone on my face once, rejecting answering my questions.

It is the worst the postal service I have ever used in my entire life. Quality and service that does not suit the European Union. I think even postal services in Afganistan works better than Finnish Posti nowadays.

Won't deliver any of my post

Paid a ton in tracked shipping costs, handling fee paid, customs sheet fully attached yet my letters are being returned (even tho I have not received them back yet). I have been sending letters worldwide since 2014 without an issue except to Finland due to the incompetency of Posti.

Delivery company that can't even deliver packages...

They shouldn't be called Posti, if they can't even deliver a package.

First I got a message on friday that my package will be delivered that they. It didn't happen, as the package was actually still in Germany

Then on Monday again I got a message that the package will be delivered that they. It didn't happen, as the package was actually still in Latvia.

Then on Tuesday, the package was going to be delivered. I was home, waiting for a phone call or someone ringing the bell. Then I suddenly see in the Posti app "Delivery attempt made"

Well, that's just a big lie. Now I can again wait another day for my package to be at a pickup point (while I paid for Home Delivery).

Posti sent parcel back

I sent a parcel to my dear in Finland from the UK, and paid £12 royal mail, but 2 months later the parcel got sent back to me even though I got customs cleared and all they did was leave a pink sticker on the box with NONE of the tickboxes ticked! A joke of a company that focuses on profits for the wealthy owners rather than efficiency

Very poor service

Very poor service. I still haven’t received the package from a friend in Finland to Denmark. This was sent via Posti on July 3 but haven’t got it and it’s September now! Very frustrating!

This company doesn't deserve to be operated in such a wonderful country!

I made an order from amazon.de a few days back and the product was supposed to be delivered a few days ago by posti. When I checked the order status It was showing that the delivery attempt has been failed and the parcel is held at some of the posti terminal. I wondered why it happened, I tried contacting posti regarding the order and they said they can't do anything now. They literally implied that you won't receive your parcel now neither you can apply for a refund. I really don't know what I am supposed to do, this company needs to be shut down for their horrible and pathetic behaviour. They're evidently, frauds and scammers operating in such a wonderful country.
Now I can't get either my parcel nor my refund.

I am disgusted with your service-
i sent a parcel to my granddaughter mid May - it stayed at the airport and sorting office for 8 weeks -
My son paid for the tax duty but you never moved it -
it was returned -
l have received the parcel to

months after posting it- it cost me £14 to send it-

l am absolutely disgusted/
