Flawless and innovative platform

Very easy to use, transparent, highly competitive pricing, very good options for bot trading, although one has to fully understand whatever one is configuring, because for beginners, the possibility to commit errors is quite high. If you do not understand what a funtion means, review carefully and aducate yourself before using it. Most negative reviews probably have their origin in the lack of using Pionex, not due to the product itself, which is flawless and very innovative.

I traded on this exchange for over a year, I would close a trade or set a stop loss that was clearly in profit for example 20$ and the trading fee was high but even with the trading fee I should still make a profit but then my balance would go down, and this happened over and over and over again, I lost so much money from this exchange and I feel like I was robbed, I transferred my money to Binance, Binance did not have perp trading in my region so I had no choice but now the perp trading is available and my experience has been night and day, I am actually making money trading now, I lost thousands of dollars on Pionex even though I was using stop losses and I could not understand it, I would close losing trades early but the losses compounded SO QUICKLY because their trading fees are CRAZY, also I noticed very strange behaviors while trading on this exchange like price moving over a section on the graph and not leaving a candle wick where price moved and the site likes to get extremely slow or just log you out while you are in an intense trade.. also over and over the price would move against you as soon as you open your position meaning you are in a loss from the moment you enter your trade like the exchange is trading against you, there was definitely something very strange going on with this exchange, be cautious with this exchange especially if you want to do scalp trading, long swing trades they are ok....

Scam site

Scam site. Make it's really easy to add funds, then charges a $20 fee to transfer back to your account and makes it really difficult by requiring supporting documents from your bank. They literally don't want to give you your money back and make you work hard to get it. Also, they charge too many transaction fees and you rarely even break even. Long-Term User, Account Frozen Without Proportionate Review

I have been a long-term and active Pionex user, trading regularly on the platform over an extended period rather than using it as a one-time account.

My account was reviewed for trading activity in DUSK_USDT_PERP and MAV_USDT_PERP. After the review, I was informed that 6999.22 USDT would be deducted as “improper profit” and that my account would remain frozen indefinitely.

My concern is not only the restriction itself, but the fact that the entire amount was classified in the same way without what appears to be a proportionate, transaction-level reassessment. The trading activity in question involved real market exposure, real downside risk, and genuine liquidation risk during highly volatile conditions. These were not risk-free or guaranteed outcomes.

I fully understand that exchanges must protect market integrity and act on internal monitoring standards. However, even if certain transactions were considered problematic under those standards, it does not automatically follow that the full amount should be treated as improper profit without a narrower and more precise review.

$1,002 of my deposited funds still being withheld by Pionex

I am sharing my experience with Pionex to document an unresolved account dispute.

My account was frozen following an allegation of promotion abuse related to a futures grid bonus. Pionex did not allege any illegal activity, fraud, or prohibited source of funds. I provided full documentation showing the legitimate source of my deposited funds.

Despite this, Pionex informed me that my entire deposited principal (USD 1,002) would be indefinitely retained as “compensation for damages.”

I formally requested that Pionex explain or quantify what damages were allegedly caused and how my deposited funds constituted compensation for those damages. No calculation, evidence, or proportional explanation was provided. After this request, Pionex stopped responding.
I formally requested the return of my deposited principal. That request was denied, and subsequent attempts to obtain further clarification have received no response for over 30 business days.
I am seeking the return of my deposited funds. I am posting this publicly because all attempts to resolve this directly with Pionex have been exhausted.

Pionex you are still claiming I misused futures bonus, however you are yet to give a breakdown of the said bonus you said I misused and how my $1,000 deposit is the right or appropriate compensation for any alleged loss which you are still yet to give a detailed review. What is going on here guys. I'm literally being locked out of my money can't access it can't withdraw it and here is a company laying claim to my own funds without giving any breakdown for there claims, just like that???

Bots are great

I have been using the bots for almost 3 years and I am very satisfied with the application and browser platform. The support is uncomplicated (chat and email) and responsive. Beware of Pionex Verification Level Eligibility

Pionex offers a Level 1 verification that only requires KYC information such as Country and Name. However, this Level 1 appears to be misleading for users. While Pionex allows deposits of USDT at this level, withdrawals may later be blocked due to a “security concern,” forcing users to upgrade to Level 2 verification. The specific security concern is not disclosed.

In practice, this means Pionex effectively operates with only Level 0 and Level 2, as Level 1 users are still required to complete full KYC to withdraw funds. New users should be cautious and not be attracted by Level 1 unless they are prepared to proceed to Level 2 verification immediately upon signing up.

Another concern is that if Pionex can impose such conditions on Level 1, similar rules could potentially be applied to Level 2 users as well. As a general rule of thumb, it is advisable not to hold excessive assets within Pionex.

I sent 564$ on Pionex

I sent 564$ on Pionex, for them to block it, and not release it ever. They ask for proofs which don't make sense, and they did for 10s of times.. And one time, when i asked, if this is the last proof they need(so i can proceed and send them the proof), they ignored me like a BOT and asked for proof like my words and questions are not important, becuase it doesn't make sense to ask for more, and for them to ask it again, just so they can find something i cannot give it to them.. the reason being is when you buy it from 3rd party with cash, you cannot prove it that easy. So they only want your money, so STOP using PIONEX all together, as they are a bunch of SCAMS..

PS: And lets not talk about customer service, because they treat you like you are their prisoner, they don't give a damn about your concerns, questions or anything, they just demand their request like they are the Mayor or something, they totally ignore anything you say, i would say WORSE experience i ever had..

So Pionex have the guts to say that this is just AML process(Anti money laundering)...
But when they ask for 3-4 proofs, and i provide it, they totally ignore what i said, and ask for a totally different proofs now..

First they ask for pictures, i provide them, then they continue and ask something else, i provide that proof, then they go ahead and ask for VIDEOS, because they know i bought the cryptocurrencies via a 3rd party, and they know i cannot provide any videos, and they still totally ignore what i said, and ask for the video proof.. Even when mentioning (and proving), that the transfer is intended for donating to needy people, they don't care, they still insist with their request.. they don't care if you starve to death or are poor, they will scam you anyway..

One more thing, they said:
"Additionally, if the submitted documents do not fully satisfy the compliance requirements for a case"...

I even asked, is this proof that you are asking enough for me to prove it, will you ask smth else, and they continued ignoring my question for 10 or more emails, because they know they will ask more, so it is not something that they think is not enough or you didn't prove anything, they will continue till they see smth you cannot provide(like videos from 3rd party sellers).

IGNORE Pionex all together, if you wanna sleep calm.. or go on reddit and read experiences of others similar to mine as well..

I was hacked and my account emptied on…

I was hacked and my account emptied on Pionex.

The activity should clearly have been flagged as it is entirely at odds with my prior activity over the last couple of years, ie. over a hundred bots and all my futures positions were closed whether in profit or loss and the whole account converted to usdt and withdrawn in a matter of minutes.

There is simply no way that this should not have been flagged by their security monitoring systems and delayed or stopped entirely without full verification.

I informed customer support and was too late to stop the withdrawal by mere moments. A delay would have given me the chance to stop it completely.

Despite making customer support aware and being informed they would investigate and respond, it has been a month now and despite them giving away thousands of dollars of funds trusted to them without any proper fraud prevention measures, I have received only silence.

AVOID!!!!

To be honest, I had been using just one boot for 1 year ago, I traded all the days with Pionex. Stay away from Pioniex

Agree to somebody who’s wrote that company is far away from honesty. I also didn’t got a welcome bonus after loaded account with my 15,000.00 USD. But is not only that. Company listing only those tokens and coins that they also have in the bag. Is almost impossible to sell bigger amount of the token which you bought at Pionex exchange. I have a few coins and tokens there one is CoinDepot. If I am not on line then bid is with price and amount of tokens 10,000 . But if just only touching sell order the bid change in second to 25 coins. Bot, I know but this bot is a trap setting by Pioniex exchange who’s can see that you like to sell. Well I have patience and sooner or later I will sell this coin without of lost and I will get out from Pioniex.

TODAY PIONEX FORCED LIQUDATED 1 million MY ACOUNT AS THEY HAVE FROZEN MY ACOUNT and denied me to ad margin. after more than 50 emails, they are still asking for a hash code for a transaction i did two years ago and even after 20 screenshot, they are still not happy and closed my account. The transfer was from Etoro and Wallet of Satoshi app. This cost me one million! due lack of margin.

Nevertheless, Pionex has:

repeatedly requested the same documentation multiple times

demanded material that cannot technically exist, including:

logs that are not generated by paper wallets

This reflects significant procedural deficiencies and inconsistent compliance handling.

3. Unreasonable Request for TXID/Hash – Beyond Reasonable User Capability

Your repeated request for TXID/hash is unjustified and unreasonable. I note that:

TXID/hash is a technical blockchain identifier that ordinary private users cannot be expected to know or retrieve

I have never used TXID tools or blockchain explorers

My deposits have been made in the normal way: fiat → BTC address

A normal user cannot reasonably be expected to fetch TXID/hash data

All information that a user can realistically possess has already been provided

Furthermore:

Pionex has full technical capability to retrieve the TXID using the address, date, and amount

The blockchain data is publicly accessible

It is your responsibility, as the platform, to obtain this technical information — not the customer’s

Your expectations in this regard are disproportionate and outside accepted AML/KYC practice.

Funds Frozen! NEVER TRUST THEM

Deposited ~350 USDT from my personal Trust Wallet and the funds were immediately frozen by Pionex’s risk system. Despite being fully KYC’d, providing complete transaction history and proof of my EU residency, and following up politely for days, I have received no meaningful response and still have zero access to my money. For a platform that markets itself as user-friendly and trustworthy, permanently locking legitimate deposits with no timeline or appeal process is unacceptable. If you plan to deposit anything other than funds coming directly from a large regulated exchange, proceed with extreme caution. Never trust this exchange ... Of course they can close your account, BUT They have no right to take your money!!!!
