Payonex Broker Frauds Users Under the Pretext of Authentication

I deposited around $300USDT into Pionex using only an email account, without completing KYC. I was not aware that users from my region are restricted until I tried to make a withdrawal.

Now my account is frozen, and I am being asked for KYC, which I cannot complete due to regional sanctions. I fully understand the platform’s policy, but I respectfully requested a one-time withdrawal and account closure, which has not been accepted.

I am not attempting to trade or continue using the platform. I simply want to recover my own funds and close the account.

Pionex has not provided any fair solution. This is extremely disappointing and feels like they are holding my funds hostage.

I will continue to share my experience on other crypto forums if there is no response or resolution.

All I ask is to be allowed to withdraw my own money. Please do better.

Pionex operates under strict regulatory guidelines and adheres to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements and Know Your Customer (KYC) policies to protect all users and ensure the platform remains a safe and reliable environment for cryptocurrency traders. Therefore, users must complete at least KYC Level 1 before using Pionex services, including deposits. It is not possible to deposit without completing KYC Level 1.

During the KYC Level 1 verification process, users must acknowledge that they are not from sanctioned regions or countries in order to proceed. If you are from a sanctioned country or region and falsely confirm otherwise during KYC Level 1, this would be considered a violation of Pionex's KYC policy.

Additionally, if the system’s risk control mechanism flags your account activity, it may prompt you to complete KYC Level 2. In such cases, it is mandatory to comply and complete the Level 2 verification.

Therefore, unfortunately, Pionex is unable to violate AML or KYC policies by allowing or assisting users from sanctioned regions or countries to initiate transactions unless they complete KYC Level 2 and provide proof that they are not from a sanctioned region or country, as previously acknowledged during KYC Level 1.

TOTAL SCAM

Avoid using. This app encourages you to transfer fund into it, but then the support team use multiple excuses to lock your fund and ask you for their transfer into their account, that you have no way to get back your fund.

All operations did is through the Pionex app downloaded via Apple AppStore. The communication email that interacts with me is @pionex.com, that handled by two official customer representative, one called Ivan, the other called Sean.

This is a real case, verifiable, with solid concrete evidence. I’m being scammed. You want to be the next one?

No Live Chat No email contact provided

I tried to delete my account after discovering that it wasn't for me. After Many attempts, I finally got the two-factor authentication, it asked for a Document ID#. However, nothing was provided, or no indication of what the number is. I tried to do the live chat, with no response after waiting 25 minutes and tried again with the same result, nothing...so there is no live chat. I tried the email contact, but it provided no email address; instead, it took me to my inbox with no email contact information. SO, No Live Chat, no email contact and some mysterious code they don't provide to delete the account. I would not recommend this service at all!! Seems like a big SCAM

Reliaable with a friendly customer service

As far as I can see, Pionex seems to be an extremely reliable platform. If you invest a small part of your assets with Pionex, you can expect kind and helpful customer support. But make sure that you know what you are doing. Never invest more money than you are prepared to lose. And don't be in a hurry. Let the bot work for you for a longer time.

Some concerns, but great bots

I love their grid bots, performance is great.
I earned about 7.000 USDT in a week, however i feel unsafe keeping larger amounts on their platform 25.000 USDT+ simply because of many bad reviews online (people having issues withdrawing funds)
It just feels unsafe. I had no issue withdrawing my 24k plus USDT though.

But i would hate to reach 100.000 USDT or more, and then have issues with withdrawing my funds. For that reason i cant use this platform with ease of mind. Either i have to leave, or trade with much smaller amounts.

The app is completely scam. They har frozen my account and unless I send too many documents that showed I did not breached the regulation, they freeze my account and just a robot send the same email to me when asking for help to resolve the issue. 112k ALGO vs Tyson the A-hole

I just tried to send 112,000 ALGO from Pionex.US to my Pera wallet in order to create a consensus node, and it took 3 hours and multiple Live Support chats, which ended with me threatening to file IC3 and FTC complaints if they don't give me my ALGO before the support agent "Tyson" would actually follow-through with his promise of "it will only take 1 hour to get your funds". I hit the thumbs down on the chat support and Tyson said "if I send you the funds now, will you remove the thumbs down?" and I said "WHY WOULD I? YOU LIED!" and he ended up sending the funds within 20-30 seconds thereafter (ALGO only takes about 10 seconds to transfer funds, but it took them 3 hours).

Financial Fee

I've been using them for about 2 months now never had any issues until last Friday May 23rd when I was able to make a substantial amount and excess of $100,000 and at that time they told me that there was a financial fee for making over $5,000. Now beforehand the fee had always been taken out of the money that was being withdrawn until this time. So I'm at a standstill now and the only thing I can get from the customer service is that the financial feed needs to be paid and then the funds will be released. The problem is that when I went to transfer the funds from my bank they flagged it and asked for verification of the payment after I sent it to them they contacted me and said that they would not authorize that payment because on their database it shows that they're a high-risk company and have been reported for Ponzi schemes. This is the first time I had an issue with them I've made money on their Bots pretty much every time I've traded lost a little bit and then I got the hang of it and was able to substantially grow what I put in. I guess my question is is anyone else had this problem with a financial fee?

Daylight robbery

I have transferred on the 9th of May 1000 Euros from my bank account to Pionex account as per Pionex instruction.
The transfer was processed by both banks, mine and HARMONIIE SAS in France, used by Pionex, but the money is still not on my Pionex account.
I have contacted Pionex customer support many times, they are always finding new excuses not to transfer on to my account, even they have acknowledged, that my money has been received by their third-party financial provider- Alchemy.
Entire business doesn’t look transparent at all, there is no contact to management, no address, nothing, the customer support probably operates from some remote countries.
I am filing the case through the local Police to Interpol and other relevant financial institutions. I would suggest all of you to do the same.

It appears that you used Alchemy Pay’s bank details (HARMONIIE SAS) directly, which is not the recommended process. For future transactions, we strongly advise that you always create a deposit order through your Pionex account before initiating the transfer, just as you did with your initial successful deposit.

As of now, the €1,000 transaction you are referring to has not been credited to our third-party payment processor, Alchemy Pay. As a result, we are unable to credit this amount to your Pionex account. We suggest contacting your remitting bank to confirm whether the funds were returned by the intermediary bank.

I am currently trying to retrieve money…

I am currently trying to retrieve money from Pionex. It is proving extremely difficult. The only company to transfer money they apparently deal with is Alchemy Pay, which refused to deal with people over 60 yrs of age. Funny, my age was not a problem when they took my money to begin with. If they do not resolve this quickly, there will be many more reviews from me here.
