We found this wonderful company online. Right now we are thrilled with everything other than wrong color and wrong size which was our fault. Disappointed
I feel that Pelsbarn does not do a good job of being transparent about several products and the return process. I ordered the M/L bed and they are too small for my doodles. Online, there is not a size or weight description for these particular beds. I was offered the opportunity to return the beds at my own cost. The beds would be nearly $80 to return. At that point, I’m waisting even more money on beds that my dogs cannot use. I am extremely disappointed in the company and the lack of transparency with their products and policies.
In response to the Pelsbarn communication, my options are to return the beds for $80 (original cost of beds $150) or they will provide be a 30% refund and I do not have to return the beds. In either scenario, I am paying for beds that are too small for my dogs. I absolutely blame myself for not actually finding and reading the return policy. My goal is to warn others about this policy. Do not just be “influenced” by the 5 star reviews they advertise. Upon further research, I see I’m not the only person with this issue. It’s just a warning that if you ARE NOT SURE the beds will fit your dogs, do not order because trying to return is not worth it!!

Quality products and great customer service
My 3 furbabies love their Pelsbarn beds - we have the orthopedic beds, sofa beds and car beds. I feel better knowing they are comfy no matter where they are relaxing/sleeping. I ordered a medium dog bed from…
I ordered a medium dog bed from Pelsbarn and selected the size strictly based on their published sizing guide, which clearly states that dogs who can be picked up with two hands should fit a medium. I followed their instructions exactly.
Shipping was significantly delayed, with little to no proactive communication about the status of my order. After waiting quite some time for the bed to arrive, it was immediately apparent that it was too small. I trusted their sizing guidance and tried it anyway. My dog got into it once and has refused to use it since. It is clearly not appropriately sized despite following their own recommendation.
What has been especially disappointing is the lack of meaningful customer support in resolving the issue. When a customer relies on a company’s official guidance and the product does not meet its intended purpose, the company should stand behind it. That has not been my experience.
For the price paid, I expected accurate sizing, timely delivery, and responsive service. Unfortunately, this purchase fell short on all three.

Beautiful, snuggly, well designed.
I have been using Pelsbarn’s dog blanket and car carrier. My dogs absolutely love them. When my older dog was a bit nervous on one occasion, I put the blanket over her and she settled right down and snuggled in. My son‘s little dog sits in the car bed as if he is a king. He won’t sit anywhere else. It’s great and Nikola at customer service was very helpful when I had to adjust one of my orders. They really are great to work with. I have washed both blanket and dog bed multiple times and they come out as beautifully as can be! I am so happy with their products and feel very luxurious and snuggled whenever I even see them.

Our Dog is 5 years old and Never slept in any bed we gave her EXCEPT for now!
We purchased an orthopedic bed for our dog (Maggie) a few months ago and without hesitation she started sleeping in the new bed on the first day.

Love these beds for our fur babies.Love that Pelsbarn offers buy one and get one free. This is unheard of with other pet beds. Our two puppies love curling up to the bolster part and take their daily naps. It's so sweet to see them all curled up in their new beds. They look so comphy and happy. Overpriced, cheap quality. I bought a dog "bed" which is just thin, quilted fabric. Customer pays for returns. Thankfully, this was on sale. I won't buy from this company again. And, yes, they have a super scammy website where you can very easily make an accidental purchase.
