So disappointing. All I've done is change my phone but due to this Patient Access won't allow me to order any repeat prescriptions. I've dealt with Nick from their tech team and may as well have had a... See more

Complete shambles
This app is useless
You get into a security spiral ( that is not needed)
Then you get locked out
In the time it takes you to get into the system you could have walked down to the surgery, or waited on the phone to get things done
Message the support centre and you get the corporate statement reply
All in all it's not fit for purpose
Useless
I have recently had a heart attack and have given up trying to get sorted on this absolute 💯 joke of an App very frustrating 😑
Glad I came here I feel better knowing I'm not the only person who thinks this is useless crap!!!
I would give 0 star if I could
I would give 0 star if I could. What a waste of time. there is actually no ability to make any kind of request or appointment. Not fit for purpose.
tax payers money are paying for this ?
tax payers money are paying for this ?? what is the point running a system that will not work and is rated 1 star ?? the passwords for some reason on this site need to be reset almost weekly and even the day after they are reset they do not work
Stopped Working. Have used app with no problems for 2 or…
Have used app with no problems for 2 or more years. However it will no longer allow me to log in and the so called tech support is useless. How the hell am I supposed to access my medical records or order prescriptions now?
Useless piece of junk
Useless piece of junk. Verification code doesn't arrive then freezes you out. SORT IT!!!
Absolutely dreadful. Doesn't deserve 1 star
Who the hell designed this piece of crap. It's totally useless. The registration was bad enough because you also need to download an authenticator app. Then you need to use this each time you sign in. Absolutely appalling, I feel sorry for anyone elderly trying to access this.
It doesn't deserve 1 star. I'd actually rate it -10 if it was possible.
The fact GP's want you to register on this to access and link your medical records to the NHS app, just shows how low the NHS service has sunk.
Useless and not fit for purpose
Useless and not fit for purpose. Do yourself a favour, delete your account and use NHS App.
I would give this 0 stars if I could
I would give this 0 stars if I could. It is completely unusable. Endless codes sent that have you going round in circles but never being able to log in or access anything. It offers the chance to use nhs login instead but still then forces you to login to patient access anyway. Not fit for purpose at all. No medical centre should be asking patients to rely on this.
Abysmal - a total waste of time!
Abysmal! I am PC literate & always use online access to save time, but this Patient Access 'set up 'is truly appalling. Who on earth put this together? I can't believe someone actually designed this for real people!
It's useless. I can see I'm not the only one with this view!

A total waste of time and a load of crap. I am computer and online savvy ... but i would rather join a Q in the freezing rain to order my meds which are fairly simple .. . God help the poor souls who are totally dependent on their meds !!!!
Designed to deny access to patients
This app is clearly designed to make itself impossible to access to order repeat prescriptions. Shame on you NHS
Shockingly bad!!!
Shockingly bad!!!
Having to use authenticator app to reset my password without clear instructions. System is still designed to set up 6 digits via SMS when it should already be configured..
Terrible system not working end up not see a doctor for months and go to hospital instead
I honestly find this system frustrating and confusing it does not work if you just need to book an appointment, it won’t work instead it send you to al, the private and expensive treatment! There is no more information about my health, all disappeared the secretary at my doctor told me I can used a button on the bottom of the page that I cannot see at all, my doctor surgery support to have their own website when I sign in it automatically send me to PATIENT ACCESS! What access really? if I need to see someone urgent I can only go to hospital such a waste of hospital time and really hard to navigate I have to call or go with my foot to the surgery to book an appointment! A disgrace
I got into a "doom loop" of security…
I got into a "doom loop" of security approvals, codes via mobile phone, codes via authenticator I had been forced to download and at the end of it details invalid. An absolutely awful experience and looking at the other reviews I am not alone. Who in the NHS has allowed this to happen to us?!!!!
This whole system is completely unfit for purpose, its not saving anyone time and should be scrapped with immediate effect. If this is what our increased taxes are paying for I despair of this country.
Terrible waste of time....how many ill…
Terrible waste of time....how many ill people have had issies trying to get help.....not fit for purpose.
Surgery advised using NHS app as this is deemed to be Sh!t.
Shocking waste of time
Shocking waste of time,
Patient Access recommended a pharmacy near my home for a blood test, this was for a "private" paid for test, when I got there they had absolutely no idea who I was, they were not ready, they tried to access their systems and "register" me, I waited for 30 mins and eventually gave up and got a refund. What a waste of time and petrol money.
The system is terrible
The system is terrible; it hasn't responded for months. How can we escalate this for further investigation? It seems to be misusing NHS funds and not providing adequate support to patients.
UNFIT to process your data
As a company, they are unfit to process personal data, let alone special category data such as medical records. They consistently ignore email communications, including legal notices sent under the Data Protection Act and obstruct all efforts to contact them by telephone. Meanwhile they continue to 'spy' on you, collecting and using your personal data without explicit consent. You use their app and even open their emails at your own risk.

I am inundated with unwanted emails from Dr. Sarah Jarvis and it is impossible to unsubscribe from them. I am unable to log in, or create an account, or unsubscribe, or contact them, although I am repeatedly advised I have an account. Any attempt at speaking on the telephone to this organisation leads to a vicious circle of their complaints web page. This advises that they will deal with a complaint within 6 months! As far as I can see they serve no useful purpose whatsoever.
Subscribing is a complete waste of time - please avoid them at all costs.
