Excellent hat, beautifully fine weave and as described. Th ehat band tha I was looking for was not on the web site but I was sent a couple of alternatives for free and they are all great. My second hat from these guys and I am very happy with both.

Panama Hat Company is extremely efficient and professional. They seem to have this whole buying and shipping process down to a science. I live on the Cape Verde islands but received this hat in perfect condition just 21 days from day of purchase. The hat is outstanding and fits perfectly. Highly recommend this company.

Over the last few years, I have purchased five hats from Panama Hats Direct. The hats have been mostly Fino or Super Fino weaves, and each reflects the quality of expert craftsmanship I have come to expect from this company. Moreover, their delivery process is down to a science, and service extends well beyond the purchase. One of my custom hats recently blew into a lake and became soaked and deformed. They restored it for the price of shipping and a modest five dollars. Of course, I will make more purchases from them in the future.

I have two hats from these guys, at the price they are incomparable. In fact incomparable at any price. Way better and 'smaller' weave than anything I had before.

In fact these are my favorite items of clothing of all the things I have. This is a real hand craft being preserved in my view. At present the quality of these hats is comparable with ones costing four times or more the price as far as I can tell
All the hats vary, being hand made, slightly and sizing on-line, well anywhere, with hats is tricky. They help you negotiate it so make sure you get that right. There is no straight forward solution anyway I have found with hats.
I wear panamas all the time in Summer for sun protection, I have about four at present, these are way, way and above the best. And the others are 'compliment' hats if I might put it that way! ;-)

I was nervous about ordering a hat on line, but my brother in law showed me the one he got from Panama Hats Direct; I was impressed. He didn’t describe the process, so I was curious. Once I submitted my design, I was continually informed at every stage of the creation, often with photos. I felt like I was watching it being made, shipped and delivered. It certainly eliminated all of uncertainty I had at the beginning. Well, it was finally delivered to my door. I was excited! When I removed it from the box, it was more beautiful than I imagined. I kept shouting to my wife, look at this, look at this! I was very happy! It’s a beautiful hat and has exactly the look I wanted.

My experience when dealing with Panama Hat Direct has been wonderful. When I received my hat at the post office. I could not wait to open the box and see my new hat so I opened it at the Post Office and showed all the workers. They were amazed at the quality of the workmanship. I went to get my haircut, and when done I went to my truck got my new hat, and went back into the barbershop wearing it to show off. they also were amazed.

This is the third hat (2 fedoras and this optimo) I have ordered from Pananmahatsdirect. They were all beautiful and everything I hoped for. The first, a fino, wore out after 13 years of pretty hard wear. The second, a super fino used as my dress hat April through about October, is 5 years old and going strong. The new optimo, a fino, is to be my everyday warm weather hat. I get many compliments, especially from people with some knowledge of Pananmas. Thanks for the great hats and great service.

These are fabulous hats, you want one! They kept me updated through the whole process(with pictures of my actual hat) it was gratifying to see the pride and attention to detail throughout! Sizing was a snap as they provide you with a printable measuring tape to get it perfect. My hat feels like it was made for me because essentially it was!
