I worked for this company for all of 3 weeks. During the interview I was told the hourly rate was lower than what was advertised on the application and the hours were also different to what I was initially told, but I just went with it and was grateful to be hired. I was told I'd be on a 3 month probation. Quite a few times myself and others were sent home anything from 2-5 hours early as we had finished what needed doing and told there was no more work for us on that day. We were also told we either would not be paid for the hours we missed out on or they'd use our holiday allowance, neither of which were fair. They refused to let me sign a contract after asking them multiple times to be given excuses such as "all the paperwork is packed away at the moment" or "we are waiting to do everyone's all at once not individually" and would not give us a payslip with a breakdown of the hours we were paid for, which I was never given. Then myself and some others were pulled aside to be told we had not passed the probation period and were no longer employed. When I pointed out that I was told it was a 3 month probation period, it was simply shrugged off with a "well you were meant to be told it was 3 weeks" with no remorse or apology. You are given ridiculous deadlines and blamed for their loss of profit, as well as being spoken down to by management daily. In the short amount of time I was there I experienced just how unprofessional and unreliable this company are.

This food made both my dogs sick - one was unwell for 2 days !!- avoid!!!

The dog food has changed for the worse. They advertise certain humpers with claims they are for “FUSSY EATERS “ but when you will buy and your dog will refuse to eat it they will blame it on the dog. I was very happy with the quality of their food until I bought the new Hamper. The food is not the same anymore as they mix it with carrots and other vegetables. The food does not smell meaty as it used to be and there is no percentage of the ingredients that they put in. After numerous emails they still refused to refund and my dog had been sick since she started the new humper we bought from paleoridge. Please do not get fooled by the advertising which they use to sell it as when something will go wrong they will blame it on the dog, they will not refund you. I was fooled thinking they are a great company, but now I realise they are giving free food to vets and dog nutritionist for them to promote paleoridge. All of their employees are very unhappy too, overworked with low wages and no lunch breaks. There are other companies who can deliver..

Good quality food. My dog loves the duck and lamb tripe. I will be buying more. Reason for 4 stars was the delivery, it didn't happen. Paleoridge had to place a second order for me. This wasn't a problem but I did waste 2 days waiting for a delivery that didn't turn up.

I'm a bit annoyed that I wrote a Trustpilot review about this company a while ago and it was removed, isn't that the point in Trustpilot to have honest reviews??? my friend has recently had a really bad experience with them and it prompted my memory to come and look for my review!

I’m a recent ‘recruit’ to Paleo Ridge (but have been raw feeding for about 10 months) and I’ve found the products to be excellent. My dog absolutely loves the chunky mix in the 80:10:10 completes and has tried a whole variety of different combinations of meats - all of which he seems to love! I like the recyclable cardboard containers (so much better for the environment) and the very reasonable cost of the 1kg packs doesn’t hurt either!

Not many companies go beyond what’s good for our pets but Paleo Ridge does. I love that they do nutritionally complete meals instead of just following 80:10:10 formulas which will lack essential nutrients. Fast deliveries, great service and quality product.

So many sites selling raw food for dogs. Chose Paleoridge because it has all the right criteria (DEFRA etc). The site tells you everything you need to know about the company, what each type of meal contains down to last detail. Excellent customer service and all packaging is compostable. Order arrived within 24 hours and the quality of food is excellent. One of the very few firms I've dealt with that offers old fashioned courtesy and genuine information.
