Great support with a great product
The support I received from OxyLabs was nothing short of amazing. I was running into an issue with getting data and the technician I worked with was extremely patient, taking the time to review what was happening and ultimately to provide a solution. I had spent hours trying to figure out this problem and was convinced there was no solution, so I am amazed and delighted to find out it works! Bandwidth usage is WRONG
First, let me start with the good stuff. Oxy Labs has arguably the best proxies. The uptime is unmatched by any other service we have used. They seem to do a really good job of checking proxies are up and not blocked. In this respect it was flawless.
Data usage charges are on the higher end. There are cheaper services with decent service. But this would be doable except...
The calculation of bandwidth usage is MAJORLY off. Our script keeps rigid calculations of all data transfer both sent and received and our server also does (of course.) Oxy labs calculation of bandwidth usage was 10 x that of what our server was actually using. I am not sure if this was a glitch or intentional. But the service was unusable with this major issue.
They also charged me twice. They gave me allowance of GB for both charges but they need to ensure their system doesn't do that.
Overall, the service itself is great as far as proxies go. The billing and usage calculation is a big suspect.
