My 15-year-old daughter had a very upsetting experience at Oliver Bonas Crouch End this morning, on what should have been an exciting occasion.

She had had her eye on a dress for a wedding for some time and was eager to go and buy it. At 9:30am, she found the door closed but unlocked, so understandably assumed the shop was open and stepped inside. A staff member told her that the store was still closed and open only to staff, which was completely fair. My daughter politely asked what time they opened, only to be met with the dismissive response, “It’s on the door!”

It would have taken no effort at all to simply tell her the opening time kindly. Instead, this staff member chose to be rude and belittling toward a 15-year-old who had made an entirely innocent mistake.

I went in a few minutes later with my daughter to buy the dress, and the staff member clearly realised that I knew what had happened. I chose not to confront her in front of my daughter, although I was extremely disappointed by her attitude.

This store has usually been a favourite of ours, which makes the experience especially unfortunate. Every customer, whether 15 or 50, deserves to be treated with the same basic kindness and respect. A young customer should not be made to feel small simply for asking a polite question.

Pretty necklaces but appalling customer service. Paid for next day delivery as needed urgently for a present. Took 4 days to arrive. Company completely ignored 3 emails, an ai chatbot and 2 telephone messages. Still not replied 2 weeks later. Would not recommend at all

Evri said they’d tried to deliver my parcel but I can see on the tracker they didn’t and the photo they took is just a blank one.

I purchased a sweater last year from the Marlow branch. Service was brilliant but the quality of the product is appalling. Despite hand washing with wool friendly detergent, the garment is now unwearable as it is covered in unsightly bobbling and pilling. Other wool products from other manufacturers (and a lot cheaper) are far superior. I would never buy a wool garment from your store again, a complete waste of money.

Easy to order, pay and establish delivery method online. The tracking advices were timely and excellent. The parcel was delivered on time, well-packaged and matched what I had ordered exactly. A really good product and delivery service.

What made my visit so great was undoubtedly the wonderful service I received from a member of your staff who went the extra mile to help me. My request was to find a replacement for a baseball-style hat I had lost that day which I was devastated to lose. It was the perfect summer hat & like my winter version, another OB baseball cap, it was a great colour & had such a perfect shape, particularly the peak. Your colleague having searched the stockroom for one which appeared available but sadly had been sold, found one online & ordered it for me. Delighted, I paid (& bought another cap from the current range) & managed to make my train - all of this done in under 10 minutes. Having worked in retail I was duly impressed & suitably grateful for her kindness & keenness to help.

All clothes are true to size. Having a store relatively near me allows me to click and collect. I’m able to try on in the changing rooms at the shop. Love that.

I placed my order on Thursday and paid for next day delivery. It’s Monday now and still no sign of my package so not a great experience

Unfortunately I had to contact Customer Services as Evri had delivered my parcel to the wrong property and we have been unable to locate it. However, the assistance I received from Sophie in Customer Services at Oliver Bonas was first class. She dealt with this issue quickly and efficiently and arranged an immediate refund, and is also continuing to follow this issue up with Evri. I was very very impressed with my experience, and very grateful that it was resolved so rapidly.

Ordered on normal delivery and my item came the next day. Gorgeous animal print sweatshirt cardigan. Love it

Hello, the products are amazing. I am very pleased. Great delivery times as well. I find it really hard to read the emails due to the light blue font. It doesn't feel very engaging or inclusive to your happy customers.
