I've just had a furniture delivery from Oakland Furniture and I can't praise enough the delivery guys - Simon & Alan. They were professional, friendly and didn't give up trying to get my sofa upstairs into the lounge. Their persistence was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Once they had installed the sofas, they cleaned up and left my property as if they had never been there. Oakland Furniture they are an absolute credit to you and I can't give you enough positive feedback

I have just had a delivery from Oakfurnitureland. The delivery guys Mehmet & Alfie could not have been more helpful. I paid for the product to be setup and removal of all packing. They did this to a fantastic standard. They were so helpful and polite. 10/10 for a brilliant service.

I bought furniture 06/05/2019, try to use the insurance cover, to be told that nothing is covered the sun damage on the chair the wood in the arm rests coming through, the seat sinking down. the Furniture Guard was sold to me as all these things were covered but according to the man that came to my house it's because I haven't looked after the furniture. So in other words because I've used it, it's not covered.... PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEIR INSURANCE it is not worth paying out for. A very annoyed customer 23/09/2021.

Just had a delivery to my father in law's house of furniture he has been waiting for. The delivery drivers, Dave and Callum could not have been more helpful. Very polite, helped me get the furniture in the house and where quick.

We have just had delivered our new furniture from oakland. The two delivery men was so helpful. It was a difficult delivery for them and nothing was to much trouble for them. They went above and beyond their job oakland furniture should look after employees t like these. They are a credit to your company. Thank you. By the way the furniture is fantastic and would highly recommend buying from this company.

Text arrived giving me an hours notice. Mehmet and Alfie arrived on time. We paid for the premium service and got just that. With covers over their shoes and masks worn, my Furniture was brought in, albeit with great manoeuvring and being ultra careful. Unpacked and placed where I wanted and packaging taken away. Polite, efficient and professional. Thank you both!

Terrible customer service. Have been waiting since April for delivery of items. Delivery dates constantly pushed back. Have spoken to several customer advisors, all of whom give a different story or don't tell you the whole story. Now been told possibly October - but no guarantee can be given. Apparently delays are due to Brexit and shipments being held up! Advised that if an item is bought today, a lead time is given for delivery but cannot be guaranteed - you don't know when you will receive your item(s). I have been waiting 6 months for an item which I was told would be 6 weeks and today still no guarantee of a delivery date.

Furniture packaged well and good quality

In April this year we visited the Oakland Furniture Thanet store and spoke to a sales' advisor, Terry Harris. As there were 4 leather dining room chairs that would be on offer when the store was revamped, possibly in May/June, we left our contact details including 2 mobile numbers, a landline number and our names.

In June, we telephoned the store and spoke to a manager to ascertain what was happening to the 4 leather dining room chairs: he did not give his name but he assured us that we would be contacted, using our given details, when the store had its revamp.

We visited the store today, Thursday 5th August. We discovered that the Oakland Furniture Thanet store had been revamped 5 weeks ago (end of June) and that the 4 leather dining room chairs were nowhere to be seen. The sales' assistant, name not given, was condescending towards us and indifferent as to both what had occurred to the 4 leather dining room chairs and to the lack of the customer service by Oakland Furniture Thanet.

I strongly stated that this was totally unacceptable and that I would give a review reflecting this shoddy service. I will not deal with Oakland Furniture Store Thanet or any other Oakland Furniture store in the future and I would advise potential clients to be wary when dealing with them.

We ordered 5 pieces of furniture last September, delivery date January 6th. Five days before had a email to haven't got the furniture and will have to wait until April. April came and same again another email delivery June now. As you can imagine we were not pleased. Furniture arrived but one of the items badly damaged so wanted a replacement. It came today and guess what... damaged. The driver got in touch with head office but our furniture has been discontinued. They offered us another table different make which is no good to us as it wouldn't match the other four pieces of furniture. Eventually we agreed on compensation and had to accept the table. Just to say the the delivery men Steve and Mick were very helpful and didn't leave until everything was sorted. Would I go back to Oakland furniture. No.

bought from these, in march, table and chairs, in april the chair leg split, and we got in touch, with customer service, after sending 3 lots of pictures in 3 different formats, we still haven't heard anything, now a leg has fallen of the table, DON'T buy from oakland furniture

APPALLING... So far my experience with this company is very frustrating. Furniture ordered in March has just been delivered after delays caused in manufacturing that they initially blamed on covid. It is severely damaged. Been told its 8 WEEKS !!! to get a replacement and they are not able to offer any compensation until maybe after the issue is resolved .... Buyers be ware they do not care about you !!!!

Have ordered a bed frame and bedside cabinet from here. They straight away told me the wait time and both items were delivered on time. The bed frame has just been delivered by Steve and Darren, both were friendly and helpful.

I give up !!! I paid for a coffee table in January and delivery as just been cancelled by email for the second time with no explanation. 4 days notice this time which is better than on the day after I had booked time off work the last time . They take your money and then leave you without your purchase and without any care . Spent hours on the phone chasing it up and still none the wiser . DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !!

I have now been listening to Hold Music for 52 mins as I needed to speak to a human about my order. I appreciate companies are busy particulary at this time. However clearly there are insufficient staff to take the number of calls going into the centre. Eventually the call was answered and spoke to a very helpful lady.

My telephone order was arranged by day & time via the internet earlier in the morning, meeting was prompt and spoke to the branch at Yeovil. The order was taken and delivery date administered by Richard Trueman.
Efficiently processed in 10 minutes. No waiting on hold was a great timesaver.

We visited the Watford oakland furniture store as we were looking to purchase a mattress. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman called Michael who was brilliant in every manner! He helped us get the mattress we wanted and it was so quick and easy. I would highly recommend this store and certainly if you go ask for Michael
