Took too long to ship.
I ordered the TV antenna in early Aug and the order status shows that it will be shipped in the middle of September.

I needed a Raspberry Pi compute module, and they are hard to find in NZ for a reasonable price. Element14 had the entire CM5 range for a very good cost. I decided to take the risk, despite the divided reviews.

Within the space of an afternoon, it was ordered, confirmed, and shipped, with customer service checking in as it was my first order from the company. It shipped out from the UK and arrived within about 5 days which is exceptional. I'll probably use them again.

Element14 seem to be a global company that has frontends for different countries, and is primarily intended for companies to use to source parts across distributors. This could mean that customer experience varies depending on what you buy and who they supply from, and could explain the variation in reviews and service. Taken for what it is, Element14 seems alright as far as I'm concerned.

Rubbish service, I ordered a 3D printer 9th May got an order confirmation (in fact two) stating it would be due to be delivered on 20th May.
By the 31st May I decided to ring up for a progress update to be told be that the order had been cancelled immediately after sale because there was no stock of the item.
Well why didn't you notify me about this then? I could have sourced something else in the meantime.
I've been sat early waiting for something that was never going to arrive.

Website makes it look like they are Auckland based and claims next-day delivery on product. Placed order, they too my $1000. Then got email from AUS asking for delivery address and unable to provide delivery timescale. This company is a shonky one as their website is deceitful in appearing to be a NZ based company. Definiately won't be trading with them again.

NZ based website says 650,000 parts same day delivery. However I ordered some fuses and its taken over a month for delivery. When I asked for shipping details they sent me a tracking number for DHL showing the goods came from overseas and have arrived in NZ but cant be tracked. I am sick of companies that make out they are in NZ but actually have no presence here and goods are NOT same day.

Ordered IC chip,was told 2 weeks. Waited two weeks. Never showed. Emailed and told two more days. He saw them arrive in warehouse. Three weeks later no parts. Messaged them and told me to reorder as in stock. So i reordered and now it's saying no stock after they've taken my money. Terrible service and company. Not the first time I've had issues with element 14. Stay clear of them unless you want to lose your money and time.

Good at delivering goods - when they have them.
Terrible at advertising and complying with the fair trading act. Constantly advertise specials and promotions without the voucher codes being accepted on there website, despite having a list of excluded items the products I buy are never excluded which is even acknowledgled by them but then they just say sorry no that's not applied on this promotion. 3 times now in as many months appalling lack of care and respect to their customers and the law.

Appalling service! no apology for waiting two weeks before you even acknowledged my Paid with confirmation order!!!??
I had to chase them up after two weeks of nothing.
Forget using these clowns. I will only be using RS Components only from now on and I will advise my 450 customers to do likewise! What an awful company.

I wasn't sure. The reviews are Really hit and miss. But I couldn't find a raspberry pi at a decent price in NZ. So I took a punt on these guys. It promised overnighr delivery which I thought was a bit optimistic. But the device came in three days fully tracked shipping with DHL. Would use them again. Thanks guys

The website is not very functional or inviting. Clearly meant for business and not personal shoppers. The items came form an overseas warehouse from the states and the items arrived within the delivery period. I was only charged when the items were actually being delivered. When I received them they were well packed with an invoice included.

I ordered an arduino uno starter kit online on element14 NZ. What put me off a little was that the order receipt didn't come through until the next day so I was worrying whether I'd put the right email address in or if I'd been scammed. Also, when the package arrived the box looked as though it had been opened/slightly tampered with.
But, I checked and everything was there in perfect condition, which was relieving.
What was FANTASTIC is that the package arrived only a day after the order went through, (and the shipping was free!).

tldr; questionable processing, however delivered as promised at the speed of light!!
I would use element14 again.

This company is trustworthy. Ordered and items were delivered within 3 days to regional QLD, they only charged what they said they would. April 2020.

I have placed one PO.
But Newark charged credit card many times & did not cancel my billing record.
And I can't check freight charge clearly. If I can check freight charge, I did not place PO.
It is very poor system.

Good range of products and generally fast delivery but customer service is deplorable.

I hadn't ordered for a while and I received a promotional email offering "Enjoy free shipping for all your orders". The fine print clarified this was until the end of the year.

I placed my first order and all was good, the free shipping was delivered as promised.

I placed my second order and received an email that I didn't quality for free shipping because I had recently placed an order. I asked for the order to be cancelled. I did not ever receive a response to my email but half the order was cancelled. A week later the second half of the order arrived.

To add insult to injury I received another "free shipping" offer email while this fiasco was occurring.

this review is for Malaysian branch of Element14. I had my account linked to a Student Advantage Account. For the entire week my order didn't go through and finally I noticed that my account has been completely merged with my trade account, without my consent of course.

I can't find my prior invoices at all and most importantly all orders are put on hold since that Student account only works with online transfer and I no longer have that option upon checking out.

Contacted support regarding this, they only reply emails regarding cancelling orders (fine by me, the orders didn't make it anyway). Any email regarding to unlink the Student account so I can use back my original account were ignored. Tried to set up a new account, which works fine, but after placing my order using the same address on my other account, that account becomes the student account too! I suddenly can see discounted price on this new account so in some way that account manages to link itself to other account.

I'm tired dealing with this stupid web bug. Most likely this issue will never be solved at all. Haven't checked other countries version of Element14 but hopefully this issue didn't reached them.

Good prices, good selections and speedy shipping

Frustrating. They cancel items without letting you know. They send requests for more information from personal emails so really hard to keep a track. Takes an order promising a % off then send them to you one or two at a time and you don't get the discount. You can't get through on the phone but they do have live 'typing' chat which is OK if you can type and spell.......Hate doing business with them BUT they have the items we use and need.

I was able to quickly find the items I wanted and they were delivered in a couple of days
