Writing this to stop others falling for this scam, I’ve placed an order with them and had no contact at all bar the confirmation email. We’ve heard nothing regarding delivery. We’ve tried ringing but the phones been cut off, emailing with no response, and WhatsApp/Facebook all with 0 response. Google also now says they’re temporarily closed, yet the website is still running, AVOID

Ordered expensive sofa and chair. Constant delays, then they could not load goods onto a courier and told me the day it was supposed to be delivered. Have been chasing for weeks and still not received a refund. The contact number is invalid 'user cannot be reached'. Unreliable, untrustworthy, borderline illegal and utterly incompetent.

Not delivered the product

Sofa arrived in good condition with free delivery. Very pleased with it. NE Sofas Direct offered to apply 5% discount, which I had forgotten to claim on placing my order. I have to deduct one star because the couriers were not great (mainly poor communication). Overall, a good experience.

No communication unless we emailed, took 2 weeks for delivery, and then delivery was 3 hours after the window given.

I found this sofa cheaper than on other sites, so ordered and the sofa was delivered (free delivery) within 2 days of the order. Great value and great service, highly recommend.

Great service from order to delivery. The lads helped remove my old sofa out of the house and placed the new one in place. Delighted with the Reclining Sofa, so have ordered the matching reclining chair. Prices are cheaper than the major Furniture stores and match on quality.

were do i start , well cal and are dan are 2 genuine guys . a credit to there business . from meeting them at walton street market where they were showing just a pick of the stock they have available .we ordered 2 x 2 seater reclining sofas for our caravan . absolutely great QUALITY and PRICE . arranged FREE delivery for the next weekend, all companies i have ever dealt with charge for delivery.
text me during the week to confirm delivery details . then 30 mins before they arrived . they even disposed of our old sofas , again a lot of companies charge for this , which is probably the norm , but these guys don't do the norm . they go that extra mile.
there not your big sofa selling companies , just 2 down 2 earth hard working guys and a credit 2 them for being so professional . would 100% reccomend anyone to meet them and check there stock , quality and price .will be returning when home needs a refurb .

Everything was great from viewing the settee to it being delivered . Dan made sure we was happy with everything before he left and took our old stuff away . Could not be better and would certainly use them again.

Ordered a 4-seater Sofa on a Saturday and it was delivered 6 days afterwards (counting in the weekends). The quality was just astonishing. It was bigger than most 4-seater sofas in the market but at 1/3 the cost. It was definitely worth it. Delivery was smooth also, they updated me upto 30mins prior the actual arrival. The Team replies quickly with enquiries and are really nice. Highly recommended!

Ordered a sofa from NESD website. Initially had some questions and the response was fast and clear. Ordering process was easy and straight forward. Later on I discovered that I could not fit the sofa in my flat due to size of the access door so contacted Callum and cancelled the order. He was so helpful, responsive and supportive and cancelled the order for me and processed the refund. Although I didn't take the sofa, the guys at North East Sofas Direct are one of the best support teams I have ever seen from an online business and I would buy from them any time without hesitation. Thank you Callum and Dan for all your help and hopefully will find on your website a sofa I can fit in through the door.

The service we received was first class from N E Sofas Direct.what spoilt it for us was delivery, the couple who delivered it would not unwrap bubble wrap in order to get it through the door and left it on the drive for my elderly husband to manage it on his own, had to ask a neighbor to help him.

From the point of contact through to delivery, this company was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!
