Purchased a litre of oil that doesn't work in my car as its not Dexos2 yet your site says this is the right oil, if I had used it it would have potential caused issues with the dpf

Thanks for your feedback, and I’m really sorry for the confusion and frustration this has caused.

I appreciate how important it is to use the correct oil specification, especially with DPF-equipped engines where the wrong spec can potentially cause issues. Our listings are matched using vehicle data and manufacturer cross-references, but unfortunately some vehicles can have multiple oil requirements depending on engine code, service history, or market variation.

From what you’ve said, it sounds like your vehicle requires a Dexos2-approved oil, and in that case the product supplied wouldn’t be suitable for your application.

Good price and quick delivery

Good price and quick delivery. Supplied with the wrong oil filter but not the fault of My Motor World - bizarrely Bosh make two different oil filters with the same part number! My Motor World were very good at sorting the problem quickly and efficiently.

If your order was placed before the next-day cut-off time, it should normally be dispatched the same working day. On this occasion, it looks like there may have been a processing or courier delay which meant it wasn’t sent out as expected.

We understand how frustrating that is, especially when you’ve paid for a next-day service. We’re currently reviewing what happened so we can prevent it happening again.

Ordered next day delivery with plenty…

Ordered next day delivery with plenty of time and it was never delivered till the following week. Paid extra and have had no communication from either dhl or my motor world shocking service that seems to take every penny they can from customers if they can get away with it

I’m really sorry to hear about the delay and the lack of communication regarding your next day delivery. I completely understand how frustrating it is when you pay extra for a service that isn’t delivered as expected, especially when you’re left without updates from the courier or ourselves.

We rely on our delivery partners to meet the service levels selected at checkout, but in this case it clearly hasn’t been handled as it should have been. I appreciate this has caused inconvenience, particularly with the delay extending into the following week.

If you would like, I can look into this further for you and check what happened with the shipment and the delivery charge. In the meantime, I can also arrange a refund of the next day delivery fee

Ordered front discs for our 2017 XC60…

Ordered front discs for our 2017 XC60 using our registration number. Local garage fitted but the discs were too thick. Supplied 31mm but after speaking to Volvo UK they confirmed the fitment should be 28mm.

All communication to MMW.Com was by email and I sent the OE information to them from Volvo however, MM.Com's technical department insisted the parts were correct!! Over 20 emails were sent and eventually they agreed to the refund.

15 business days passed and still no refund.

I then contacted them to claim my £100 labour charges back and guess what?? It was sent over to their technical team. Day after day, for 1x week, I chased them but was told a decision had to be agreed. Eventually, after more chasing they agreed the refund reluctantly.

10 more business days passed and still no refund.

This company hahe no live chat function, that part of theyr communication offerd online is a total lie. You can only contact them by email.

I will never use them again and its a shame because im a big fan of Mike Brewer!!!

Further to the response below id like to point out that over 47 emails were sent. Your sales and technical team both told me that the front discs were correct, several times, despite my local garage telling me they were the wrong size and further more, I had to speak directly with Volvo to prove you sold me the incorrect parts, despite putting in my registration number. I am still waiting for my labour reimbursement costs. Only after threatening to speak with Trading Standards did you "eventually" agree to the refunds.

Not once have I recieved an apology from you??????

We’re sorry to hear you’re dissatisfied with how this order has been handled. From our side, the fitment issue on the front discs was reviewed by our technical team, and once the incompatibility was confirmed, both the product refund and the labour contribution were approved.

The refunds were then processed and released from our side in line with standard banking procedures. As previously advised, once a BACS/refund has been initiated it can take 5–7 working days (and occasionally a little longer depending on the bank) to fully clear and appear in your account.

With regard to the labour claim, this was correctly escalated for technical review before approval, which is standard procedure for warranty-related labour requests.

If the funds haven’t appeared after the advised clearance period, please let us know and we will chase this immediately with the payment provider.

I ordered on May 25th

I ordered on May 25th, paid for next day delivery. Its now May 31st and my order has still not arrived.
But this may just be the parcel company 'Evri's' processing?
But the extra next day delivery charge has not worked for me.

Having checked the order, it appears the delay is currently with the courier, Evri. While we dispatch orders as quickly as possible, unfortunately we do not have direct control over delays once a parcel is within the courier's network.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused. We appreciate your frustration, as the next day delivery service has clearly not been achieved in this instance.

I ordered 6 tins of copper lube but I got 5 tins of copper lube and 1 tin of cleaning solvent! Not sure why! Very quick delivery though.
