Disappointed not very in-depth
I was expecting more information. It was pretty basic in my view. I thought it was quite expensive for what was provided. I suffer with INS and was hoping for answers. Nothing came through to suggest that it’s anything I eat. I did complain about the fact that the gluten element hadn’t been included. Then all of a sudden it came through. Does beg questions as to whether anything could be made up. I did think that because it was sold by boots it would be a good one. Bit disappointed to be honest.

Gluten Free
The results of this test persuaded me to change my diet to gluten free. Within two weeks all my stomach issues have resolved and I wish I had done it earlier!

Waste of money
I was told by my GP I had high cholestrol. Having improved my diet and exercise, and lost 2 stone, I wanted to check if my cholestrol had lowered too. I was sent a very short report, that looked very cut and paste. It didn't explain what each result meant or how to improve my cholestrol more. It told me to speak to my GP. It wasn't cheap either. I sadly wouldn't recommend this product.

Great service, and really helpful results. I won't lie, my results were good which helped! Gave me the confidence that I'm doing the right things, but also where I need to tweak my vitamin D levels. My results are very confusing
My results are very confusing. They state that I have sodium and caffeine sensitivities. It is suggested that I reduce my intake of processed meat, table salt and canned products and drink less espresso, coffee, energy drinks and green tea. I am vegetarian and never eat meat, cook all my meals from scratch, don't season any of my food with salt and have never been a coffee drinker throughout my whole life. I have also never tried an energy drink and don't drink green tea.

Beware if buying a reduced price test
Beware, if you buy a test on offer and the results can't be processed for whatever reason you will not be sent a replacement test and will have to instead purchase another test at full price (if the offer has ended).
My blood collection tube was rejected because the blood was clotted before reaching the lab, which is apparently not uncommon and can be caused by taking too long to retrieve the sample (no time limit is specified in the instructions). I was given a refund and refused a replacement because they wanted me to spend 3x the price I paid after they had just put all the prices up. That's not a great way to do customer service.
I have done a blood test with another company where the test took too long to arrive and was sent a replacement test - such a simple way to resolve the issue and not anger your customers.

Retailers may choose to offer clearance items at their discretion. Usually this is at store level, and the nature of clearance items means that stock is no longer available once sold through, as it is not replenished. It is not to do with prices increasing, it is to do with the specific retailer selling through items they label as ‘clearance’ stock.
As advised, alternative retailers may have clearance stock available for you to purchase, but this is not something that MHC has influence over.
In the meantime, your payment was returned to you via a refund. We know it is disappointing when samples clot, but unfortunately it can happen at the point of collection.
